Thank goodness for Daron and Rae, the managers at the time of my visit. They both were very helpful and attentive and provided excellent customer service. On the other hand, Zack, the gentleman who initially started to help me was terrible. He wouldnt even look me in the eye when he talked to me. He came across as disinterested in hearing my needs and only wanted to push me to Geek Squad for a repair when truly I needed a replacement or exchange. I was visiting Dayton for work and live two timezones away from this location. I wasnt interested in a two week repair, especially given the fact my item was brand new out of the box. I repeatedly told Zack I wasnt interested in a repair and needed a replacement, but he insisted I could only get a repair and even had me complete the Geek Squad paper work. After a few minutes I was over my conversation with Mr. Zack and I kindly asked for a manager. Before calling the manager he told me "Hes only going to tell you the same thing." Shocked and thinking to myself did he really just say that? I replied with "It doesnt hurt to ask." I waited a few minutes for Daron to come over, once he arrived he introduced himself and asked how could he help me. I told him the issue and right away he provided the exchange and told me to go pick out the new item. Before leaving the counter to go pick out my new item, he introduced me to Rae, the oncoming manager since his shift would be ending soon. He explained everything to her and she was very friendly and helpful. After picking out my new item with the help of Mike and Samuel, it was time to check out. Rae took great care of me and was super friendly! Thanks Daron and Rae for saving the day!!

Beware!!!!!!!!!!!! best buy open box policy. I just purchased a home and Im remodeling the kitchen because some of the appliances had issues. So I went shopping and I decided I liked the new kitchen aid set washer, stove, microwave and refrigerator. The only thing that was open box was the refrigerator. The only issue was the kick plate at the bottom had damage. no big deal to me. I was pretty excited. They came out to the house and installed it. However I discovered the refrigerator had more damage than i saw at store. Luckily I took detailed pictures and I looked into to it closely and I soon realized they gave me a different model. I thought surely they can fix this issue so I went to the store and talked to the sales manager. He says that he remembered it didnt have all that damage and they will fix it. And then someone called me from the corporate office said I can only return the refrigerator or pay the difference on a new one. I said I just want the refrigerator that I bought. I redesigned my whole kitchen to fit this stuff. I called corporate call center twice and ive been to the store twice. They say they dont know what happened to the refrigerator that I bought. Ive never dealt with such terrible customer service like this before. I hope anybody who reads this doesnt have to go through any of this torture.

I was browsing for a gift for my boyfriend..a sales rep asked me if I needed help, I told him I was looking around trying to spot some kind of gift for my boyfriend. I then asked if they carried any kind of charging docks for phones. He looked at my phone- assuming it was for my phone and said "not for that phone only for Iphones, Good luck" and walked away. I had not asked for a dock for my phone. I asked in general if they had docks for phones. It wasnt for my phone. He didnt ask what it was for just looked at what I had in my hand. I guess if you happen to walk around and reply to texts as you shop sales reps will shut you down and assume you only need accessories for that specific phone. I didnt have my sights set on a dock. Was just wondering. He was no help and I decided if thats how presumptuous and unhelpful the associate was I will look somewhere else for gifts period. I figured if I didnt find something Id get a gift card but that idea went out the window after speaking to him. A sales rep could ask "what does your boyfriend like"? Maybe suggest some popular items that he may like etc. Could have showed me around and helped me find something! I am highly disappointed. Waste of my time coming in!

Was sold a very pricey Dyson sweeper by an uniformed salesperson. I was told upfront that I could return the sweeper for any reason and that Best Buy had a fairly loose return policy so there would be little risk. I gave the sweeper a try only to find that it wouldnt hold a charge for more than 2-3 minutes and I didnt think it was nearly worth the 500.00 that I paid. When I went to return it, I was told that I am beyond the 15 day return period (5 days) and that since they didnt want to "stick" me with a bad sweeper, they would give me a store credit. Apparently Best Buy changed their return policy a year or so ago to 15 days and I didnt notice. Not at all what I would have expected based on the conversation that I had with the salesperson. I will deal with the store credit in my way and never do business with this company again. Bad deal Best Buy! I can buy this stuff anywhere. Lesson learned. Store manager treated me really poorly as well. He didnt want to talk with me at all but I insisted and when he finally came to speak to me he was a real jerk. Bad experience all around!

I upgraded my Verizon phone with them in January 2014 and all was fairly well (our so I thought). I had an issue with the charger that came with the phone and had to go back the next day. They moved liked molasses in winter and effectively made me late for work. Then, the screen protector they put on for me had bubbles under it that didnt go away so I had to go back a separate time for that. They replaced it without question, but placed it too high on the screen... And now, a year and a half later, this $30 screen protector is peeling up (which its guaranteed to not do that). This phone also started giving me trouble with the wifi antenna, charger, and battery so I decided I would just upgrade... so I called to see what my out of pocket cost would end up being and I got placed on hold for over 15 minutes; the phone rang back in 4 different times and they never came back with any sort of info... never even picked the phone back up to acknowledge that I was still waiting... I eventually had enough and hung up. This store has been horrible through and through.

I ordered a washer and dryer three weeks ago my deliver date has been changed 3 times. I have called several times to speak to a Manager you either get put on hold for 45 mins then hung up on or you talk to a Manager who then sends you to someone else. I received a best buy bill to make a payment on product I dont even have in my house. There 800 number keeps telling me that I will be compensated and someone will be calling me back Ive been on the phone with them everyday and no one has yet to call me back from upper management. When I first ordered my washer and dryer my dryer was on back order now the washer is on back order. I have no washer and dryer bc I removed mine then they called me less than 24 hours before deliver to tell me it wouldnt be coming. The man I spoke with on the phone in the store couldnt understand why I was having an issue going a week with no way to wash clothes. Apparently he doesnt have kids.....Ive asked several times how I talk to a general manager and no one will give me any info
