Unfortunately we were forced to use Kay Jewelers in Hanes Mall when the Marks and Morgan closed. My Husband purchased an anniversary band prior to M&M closing; therefore, we had to have it sized at Kay. The staff at Kay in Hanes Mall is very unprofessional. They seemed annoyed with my request to have my ring sized (for free as part of the previous purchase). They quickly rushed me in and out. I filled out the required forms and was giving a promise date 2 weeks later. At Marks and Morgan, I never waited more than a week for a ring to be sized. Furthermore, I was always called and notified that my jewelry had arrived when using Marks and Morgan. This was not the case with Kay. I waited the 2 weeks, called, got another unprofessional staff member and was told oh yeah its here. When I asked if I had missed the call, I was told I have to request a call b/c of the amount of volume they have. Maybe this service is OK for others, but comparing the experience to other stores, it is below par. I would not recommend this store. We will be finding a new jewelry store to use in the future.

The customer service is terrible at the Winston-Salem mall location. Every time I go I encounter the same rude person who makes no effort to offer friendly, polite or helpful service. I have always had to wait 15+ minutes for them to even offer assistance. They make no effort to multi-task their customers or act in a professional manner. I am very disappointed that I bought my ring from them and will have to continue using them for my warranty. I have had to wait over 30 minutes for my 2 minute warranty ring inspection. When I asked how much longer, I was rudely told it could be another 15 minutes. Another customer was complaining about their terrible service to me while we waited and then the same rude employee helped another customer who just walked in and ignored the lady behind me who had been waiting at least 20 minutes with just a question! They have serious customer service and staffing issues. I wish I never had to return to this location.

Do NOT design jewelry if you ever want it in a timely manner. My boyfriend/fiancé was designing a ring with them and loved the first consultation but once they got his deposit they stopped caring. 8-10 weeks has now turned into 15 weeks... just to get the design as the first one was so far out of left field from what they had sketched out. Hes now having to start from scratch and find another company he can trust and do the work in a timely fashion. :,(

The customer service is very unprofessional, and I will be writing a letter to the manager as well. I have worked in customer service for all of my professional career, and the service here is lacking profusely! When I called into the store to get some information the woman who answered the phone was snappy, interruptive, and spoke to me condescendingly.

Customer service there is very poor! Only one person worth seeing! My husband purchased 2 rings for me at Christmas, one was sent off 3 different times and the other 2 times due to them sizing it wrong! Not to mention the countless times I had to run up there. They act as if they couldnt care less that you waisted your time and gas for the trips there!

I have called 6 different times today to check on my ring that was sent out over 3 weeks ago to get a new stone put in and no one has answered the phone. I also work in retail and as painful as it is to work on a Sunday you still answer the phone for your paying customers.

I had my ring sent off to have a stone replaced, the staff addressed me as soon as i walked in and assisted me. Ring was back in exactly 2 weeks, I talked to Trey on the phone very kind and professional!
