My wife likes Michaels in general, and this one is a brand new location. The staff is always very friendly and it is very clean and well laid out. The biggest issue is that this is a bit smaller than most of their other locations. For example, we were framing an oil painting and just needed the outside frame piece (no glass and matting) but were told that store didnt have them and we would need to go to the one in Raleigh. Not a big deal, but can be annoying when they dont have everything you expect.

They just sent an email today about a free program for kids they were running that said NO pre registration needed. I get to the store which is over 25min from my home and they cancelled it saying they didnt have interest. They acted like they didnt even care. How are you supposed to know you have interest when you say dont register? Very disappointed.

This Michaels doesnt have a large selection like the others only because its smaller. However, the associates are kind and helpful. Tamara and the dark haired girl with the wrist tat.
