There are a number of issues I have found with Hobby Lobby -- at least in regards to this location and in their checkout practice. The parking lot is horrible, the stalls are angled and very very narrow. Next, Hobby Lobby does not scan their products and must manually key in every item. Price checking is horrible if a sticker is missing because they cant look anything up by the UPC symbol. Half the time the items that are on sale dont ring up as on sale, they have to constantly check their flyer to see if the item is qualified for their sale. And lastly, in a competitive world with the other craft stores, they offer only one coupon ever... the 40% off one regular priced item. Thats IT! For some additional positives and hmmms, they do carry items that the other stores dont sell and seem to have an extensive selection of everything but what I typically go in to look for. Their papercrafting selection is diverse but limited. They carry a ton of woodblock mounted stamps, I dont like woodblock mounted stamps. And a very tiny selection of cling/clear stamp sets. After that they have a hodge podge of lots of things. Nothing in the store is clearly labeled. They either need a map or signs hanging from the rafters letting you know where everything is.

Where to even begin? This store has so many different things to go through and look at. Art supplies, to furniture, to home decor, to seasonal themes. Its fantastic. The store is always organized and clean, Ive yet to go in and the store be messy. Its easy to navigate, although there is so much to get distracted by. The beads and charms section has thousands of options to choose from, my favorite would have to be the fairy tale selection. The Comics selection is great as well. There different crafting supplies give you a wide variety to choose from to finish any of your projects. The custom framing is fantastic, much cheaper than the other places located close by. The framers work one on one with you to help you pick out the perfect frame for your pictures and paintings. I just love this store, its dangerous for me to go in because I always leave with something. If youre an Artist, Hobbiest, or anything of the sort and you havent been by this Hobby Lobby yet, I highly recommend you swinging by when you have some free time.

I have been shopping on a weekly basis at Hobby Lobby for years and was excited when moving to Raleigh to see that there was a store opening in Raleigh. For whatever reason the customer service at the store is lacking severely. At every other location there has always been eager sales associates and clerks waiting to help you find something youre looking for, and that sadly isnt the case here. I had overlooked this issue until I had another bad experience today when checking out. The location just seems seriously sub par to my usual experience at Hobby Lobby. I am hoping my review and others will encourage the store to make necessary changes in the training of their staff.

Hobby Lobby is a great place for your craft needs. This location is laid out well and is very large. Dont forget to Google your 40% off coupon. My only complaint about this location is the property itself. If you are not turning right onto Capitol Blvd, or turning right to go towards Triangle Town Center, it can be treacherous trying to turn left out of the parking lot. Why dont developers connect properties? Obviously they dont want more business, since connected properties would attract impulse buyers, etc.

Overall I really like this store and their selection of products, the store is huge and they have just about anything craft wise that you could need! They also have home decor items, fabric, holiday decor in party supplies! Their prices are pretty good as well. My only complaint would be that it can be hard to find a sales associate if you need help finding anything, and the cashiers that Ive interacted with havent been the friendliest of people. But besides that I love shopping here!

This place is the worst!! We rented columns for our wedding then 4 days before the wedding they call and say theres been a mix up and the columns will not be available for us to use. 4 days before! To make things worse, I asked for a refund over the phone seeing as how I dont live close and it would be a drive and they said they cant do that. So now I dont have columns for my wedding and have to drive all the way back out there to get a refund. I will never be going here again.

Hopped in to grab some mason jars and got a little lost, but I was very quickly approached by a sales rep who guided me to the right isle. Along the way we chatted and he pointed out some other things I may be interested in (which I am!). The check out was also pleasant as the cashier was polite and helpful. I think the sales rep was Tyler and the cashier was Jakisha. I honestly enjoyed my experience and plan to return next time I need more crafting supplies!

Great experience at Hobby Lobby off capital blvd! I went there looking for artificial flowers for my wedding and was impressed with the large selection. I found just what I needed and cant wait to get started on this project. When I was ready to purchase, Kristin opened a new register lane and helped me immediately. She also informed me of the weekly specials for my next visit. Thanks Hobby Lobby!

The store wonderful. I always leave sad bc I cant buy all the cute decorations. My only complaint are the aisles and to be honest, its the people. No one is courteous to others, cut me off between lanes, walk right in front of me and then stop in the middle of the aisle to look at something. This happened 3 times in my 30 min trip. Store is every crafters haven but I can do without all the people.

If youve been in other Hobby Lobby stores, expect a similar experience. Fun to browse selection of home decor, art supplies, and fabric. I was super impressed with the selection of up-to-date scrapbooking supplies. They had a great selection of new collections from designers that Michaels and AC Moore dont carry anymore. The collection of albums was also very impressive. Ill be back!

Hobby Lobby is the next best place to heaven. I love not only the store, but this location in particular. The store is HUGE, yet the team members there keep it ridiculously organized and clean. Theres always a ton of things on sale and a wide selection. The only downside...I end up spending at least an hour and a half in there everytime I go...

Very Nice new location. Most items seem to be in stock. I am not a big fan of the store layout some items are in difficult to find areas. Some items I have picked up have not been priced. I never pay full price here for any item what you are looking for will be on sale or use your coupons and remember they are closed Sunday!

Love love love this store. Wish they come to wake forest. They should replace Michaels and just take over there. They would so well in wake forest. I have waited years for them to come to this area. They have everything. The sales are amazing too.
