My review is two-part. My experience as a bride selecting my bridesmaid dresses, and then my experience as a bridesmaid for a wedding im in next weekend: As the Bride: The ladies are professional, however they cannot return an e-mail or a phone call in a timely manor to save their life. One of my bridesmaid dresses was running late, and it was getting close to wedding day. The dress apparently came in on Tuesday, but I wasnt called until that Friday (1 week prior to wedding - after i had left a voicemail on Wednesday and Thursday that week) that it had come in! Talk about last minute, especially when the order had been placed 5 months prior. When the dress arrived, it was at least 2 sizes too small. We had the original measurements sheet that they provided after she was fitted, and took it to an alterations place as it had to be let out in the waist and bust area. We had it measured and compared to the sheet-- not even close. The alterations alone ended up being more than the dress itself - and the rush since we had very little time. Absolutely INEXCUSABLE. As a bridesmaid: The wedding that im in is next weekend. My wedding was earlier this year, and the bride had already picked the dresses for her wedding at this place before the situation above occurred - so i was stuck. Just like my bridesmaids dress, my dress was wayyyy too small. I again took my sheet that had all my measurements on it, and I had a seamstress measure me, to compare numbers. Low in behold-- measurements are the same, but the dress is a size too small. Freaking ridiculous!!!!! Another $125 for alterations to let it out after the dress was $250. I was not the only bridesmaid to have this happen in the large wedding party. GO FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE. Just because this store "caters" to specifically bridesmaids, its not worth the headache as a bride or a bridesmaid. Of all the planning stress/etc., that i endured during my wedding, Bella Bridesmaid gave me the biggest headache.

Working with Laura at Bella Bridesmaids has been one of the best parts of my wedding planning experience so far. She has been attentive and excited about my day and making sure my girls look amazing since before I ever stepped into the store. She helped me pick out an array of dresses more beautiful than I could have ever hoped for and has been more than happy to accommodate subsequent appointments for all my of 8 bridesmaids to come in, get fitted, and choose their dress. As a side note, I was also one of the brides whose money was taken in the La Belle Marie fiasco a few weeks back. Laura called me the next day to make sure I wasnt one of the brides whose dress was affected (sadly, I was) and to see how she could help me. Mind you, this shop doesnt carry bridal gowns, but she was willing to contact the designer on my behalf. She was just that invested in my day already and willing to help. I cannot say enough about this place!

This store has a great selection but their hours are extremely inconvenient. They only allow hour long appointments on the weekends and are quick to rush you out as soon as your appointment is over. This salon has around 500 dresses (if I had to guess) and one hour is NOT enough time to look, try on, and make a decision about a bridesmaid dress. Also, the dresses are tangled together on the racks so it takes you even more time just to get them untangled to look at. If you and none of your bridesmaids work then you can make an appointment during the week, however, if that is not your situation then I would absolutely not recommend this place. Originally rated one star, changed to three since the owner did reach out and apologize and the sales associate, Elizabeth, was helpful.

The girls got their bridesmaid dresses here for my wedding in May. After the awkward and not-so-helpful service at other places, I was really happy with how easy it was here. The salespeople really gave us guidance and helped with color scheme matching rather than just let us choose the dresses with no guidance or advice on body types. I had 4 bridesmaids, of varied heights and body types, and we found a line, Ivy & Aster, that had enough variety to meet our needs. Also, they had different fabric options here beyond that same chiffon. My girls chose the crinkle chiffon which was a great match for our beach wedding- flowy and soft look. After the measurements were taken and the dresses came in, I dont think anyone needed alterations.

My bridesmaid dresses came in and were great but our experience with Bella was not great. Their hours are not convenient for anyone who works, which I do and so do my bridesmaids. Once you get an appointment, they are horrible at returning phone calls and emails about the order. They also forgot one of the discounts for my bridesmaid after they insisted we get our order in before Christmas so they could all get the discount. I caught the mistake but it was frustrating because I couldnt get them to answer the phone or an email about the mistake. Picking up the dresses was inconvenient too. I would find a dress from here but order somewhere else.

Lulakate bridesmaid dress: Worst dress for a lot of money. Spent about $300 just for the material to rip up the slit. By the time I got to the reception in my bridesmaid dress, it had ripped all the way to my butt and had to safety pin it together so I wasnt hanging out the back. Cheap material and way too overpriced. I loved the dress but everytime I sat down or squatted down to pick something up, another rip happened. Never again will I spend money on a lulakate dress.

We had a wonderful experience at Bella Bridesmaids! There are an abundance of beautiful dresses to choose from and the consultants were experts in the designers, colors and styles! The new owner, Ashton came out to introduce herself and was awesome to work with. Ashton and Elizabeth both helped to pull everything together for a beautiful wedding!

Christy, the owner, was an immense help in both choosing my bridesmaid dresses and in the sizing process! The store has a huge selection of fabulous bridesmaid dresses and Christy was there with great personalized service throughout the entire process! I would highly recommend Bella Bridesmaid for your bridesmaid dresses.

Bella Bridesmaid helped make picking out the bridesmaid dresses probably one of the most fun wedding planning activities. My MOHs and I had a blast choosing the perfect dress and joking why the others were not for us. They also had a huge range of different dress styles, fabrics, colors, and all within our price range!

We drove from Wilmington, NC to go to Bella Bridesmaid and I am so glad we did! Christy was so nice and helpful. We got one-on-one attention and had an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend Bella Bridesmaid to anyone looking for wedding attire!

Do not go to this store unless you know exactly what you want and can find it under an hour. If you cannot find a dress within the allotted hour, you must schedule another appointment. Extremely inconvenient for busy brides.
