Ugh! Where do I start?! I should have known from the start when my friend told me not to got there because her consultant was so rude and made her cry! However, I had trouble finding such a nice & big selection elsewhere. So I will give them that...their selection of wedding dresses is truly great! My consultant was actually very nice but extremely ditzy. She measured me wrong by 3" and my dress was a size too small! When she had help and re-measured me she stated it was way off and I mustve gained weight. I let her know I just lost 15lbs from when the last time she measured me & ordered the dress was and all my clothes are actually now loose on me...no way I gained! Both my mom & MIL, agreed that I lost weight and my clothes were baggy on me. The consultant wouldnt admit she was wrong and just kept saying oh somehow you mustve gained weight and was very insulting. My mother was livid. She also told me the dress didnt come with a belt and had me add on a $200 belt, when the dress in fact did come with a belt. Luckily, she was able to refund that. She and another lady measured the guys tuxes too and the guys said she was all over the place and writing down wrong measurements and they had to correct her. My dress altercations were perfect! They did a very nice job but are super pricey! $400! I could have done it elsewhere for cheaper. But, I did love the lady doing it and she did great. Only problem is they randomly switched my appt. on me and didnt tell me and I almost missed it. Who does that?! No one would admit to changing it either and acting like I forgot when I scheduled it there and they confirmed giving me a card with it written down. Plus, I called 2 weeks prior to re-confirm the time and it was still the same time as my card. Then all of a sudden it changed and luckily I found out the day before. So there is more....The guys tuxes! I dont even know who is as fault here but somehow our contract signed with MB and the tuxes said we need suits by Wed and wedding was Friday. But the Tux companys paper they had written down our wedding was Sat and we needed tuxes by Thurs which was super wrong...this info had to be given wrong to them by MB Bride as all of our MB bride tux paperwork was correct saying tuxes needed by Wed and wedding Fri. So a groomsmen goes and the tuxes arent in....we call and are told they are running late but all are on truck & will be in soon that day. We got to get them and 2 are still missing. 2 tuxes fit perfect that were in & 2 tuxes did not fit and needed fixed that came in. They gave us some money off the 2 tuxes not in (maybe $15 each) and then had them driven out to our home for Thursday by noon which was nice. However, both jackets didnt fit and there was nothing at all anyone could do about it as it was too late. Would I recommend them? Heck no! I would tell everyone to go elsewhere! After I started letting people know of my frustration I heard other horror stories from my friends. My one friend said she went to pick up her dress that was suppose to be done being altered the week before her wedding and they told her it was unfinished and would need another week and said they would be done week after her wedding! Someone else said they butchered her dress when altercation of her dress. Another friend said they didnt have any of the tuxes the day they were suppose to when they went to pick them up and had to deliver them wedding day.

I had a wonderful experience at MB Bride! I got married this year on April 29th, but I went looking last year for my wedding dress. I started at another big name wedding dress retailer, and was treated poorly because I didnt have an appointment. At that time, I wasnt even looking to try anything on, I was simply just looking because I wasnt sure what style I would like and even that was an inconvenience to them. I am a plus size bride, so I was already a little self conscious about dress shopping to begin with. I had heard commercials for MB Bride, but I live in Shaler, so the thought of going all the way to Greensburg was a bit daunting. My sister called and said we were out looking and wanted to come out there to see what they had. There were no "appointments" left for that day, but they told us to come out and that we were more than welcome to look and if there was something I really liked they would be able to help me with trying it on. When we got there, they were packed and I was thinking, "Oh great, I just drove all the way out here to be treated the same", BUT I could not have been more wrong. I was pleasantly greeted at the desk and after a few minutes a consultant met me and took me back to a fitting room. We discussed what I was/wasnt looking for from there she turned us loose on the showroom floor, directing us towards/away from what I was looking for. Ill be totally honest, I did NOT want to spend a lot on a wedding dress. I wanted something beautiful and flattering, but it was not in my budget to go buck wild. I tried on about a dozen dresses and the last dress I tried on was a Maggie Sottero Mona-- I fell in love! The dress was lightweight, flowing and simply elegant! There was just enough bling and as I was admiring the bling on the shoulder I looked down at the price tag and thought "No way...". I asked the consultant is part of the tag missing and she looked and said "Nope, thats the price!". $99... $99 is what I paid for my wedding gown that I was head over heels in love with! It was a forfeit from a previous bride and thats why it was on the clearance rack. A new Maggie Sottero Mona retails for about $1500 FYI. I found a beautiful veil that also had just the right amount of sparkle to compliment the dress also in the clearance section for $99. Now my dress did need altered, which was done by a family friend as a wedding gift, but for what I saved on the dress, it would have been well worth the alterations. I cannot tell you the amount of compliments I received from everyone at the wedding and the fact that I felt absolutely stunning on my special day meant the world to me! The pictures of me twirling around the dance floor, or with me walking with my husband and the train following behind me are just breathtaking! I encourage any bride, regardless of shape, size, color, or location to make the trip to MB Bride!

WORST PLACE EVER! I just got married August 5. When i Went to go pick out my dress everything was amazing or so I thought. They measured me that day and told me I needed a bigger size then what I was in which I was hesitant about but went along with it. Also only being about 5 feet tall the length was a big concern for me. I was assured that it would be fine as long as I had about 3 inch heels on because their was no way to alter the dresses length after it was cut due to the lace. We paid the dress off that day and wanted the alterations package along with the belt and extra under garments that I had to. We also decided to look at some bridesmaids dresses which we were told would be noted on our account so we could bring everyone back and try them on. NOTHING was put on the account which was fine we ended up picking out other dresses with a whole new consultant. When my bridesmaids got their dresses sized we were assured they would all be on the bigger size instead of being to tight. Well when the dresses came in none of my girls who are maybe size 10s at the most were all to tight! At this point it was to close for anyone to get anything done with them. Moving on to the tuxes... My husband went and picked everything out and was told it was on the account for us when we came back to order them. Shocker it was not done! We went back with all the groomsmen and choose everything again and they got sized. I was assured everything would be in a WEEK before our wedding to make sure of sizes. Well nothing came in until the week of! That is not even the worst part... everyones pants were 3 sizes bigger then they should have been and no way to make them work. My brothers tux shirt was actually ripped when they gave it to us. Just when you dont think it could get any worse it does. When I went to pick up my dress they told me the veil was in the bag with everything else and I was good to go. My wedding took place a hour away. The night before we found out we did not have the veil!! Thank god for my mother-in-law who went the morning of my wedding to pick it up. At this point I do not recommend anyone to go to this shop for anything. I called to speak to a manger when we found out that the tuxes would not be here until 3 days before the wedding to find out why they said the week before instead. The message said give us 24 hours to get back to you and it has now been almost TWO WEEKS and I have heard nothing from a manger. At this point they are lucky we were able to work around all of the problems and I am still waiting to hear about some kind of refund for the $400 dollars I had to spend on alterations and all the hassle. We spent well over $2,000 for everything that we needed for our big day only to be disappointed.
