Took my Civic here for service. I havent had to use any dealer in the Rochester area and having spoken with a guy in parts earlier in the week decided to try this place out. Called the day before to make an appointment. Got there around 7am, service guys dont start until 8 which I knew. I only dealt with a guy named Brian. Very nice, took a detailed description of my problem, did explain to me that there is a diagnostic charge of $99, and that they would let me know what they find. I know some people will be shocked but hey, someone is going to have to take the time to look at your car and youre going to have to pay where ever you go so just be prepared. I opted to wait in the waiting area, they do have a shuttle so you can get a ride home or to a rental place if you had to. Brian came to let me know what they found around 8:30, pretty quick I thought, and gave me an estimate. I asked if the part was covered under warranty and he said let me go check. He came back and told me that everything was indeed covered, and he then apologized for not realizing it first. He said it would take about an hour to fix. I was out of there by 9:30 and they didnt even charge me the diagnostic fee. Fantastic! Overall I thought the service was very good, they found and fixed my problem quickly. Thanks to Brian Maas for handling my situation very professionally. Ill definitely be back if I need more service. No experience with the sales team so I cant comment on that.

So I guess if youre a 19 yrs. old girl then they can sell you all the crap they wish to. I bought a Honda Civic 3 yrs ago, and in about 2 - 2.5 months I started having trouble with my car. Like a month after a bought it I had to go back and have something changed. Good thing it was still under warranty. Oh, yea, after going to have my car serviced, my front wheel Fell OFF on the highway. Say, Im lucky I didnt get injured or worst, killed, just b/c I felt that my car didnt sound right and slowed down, switching to the very right lane (and then, obviously, I ended up on the side shoulder). Then every year, at least 2 times a year I have more problems coming up. Arent they suppose to check the car before they sell it to you? They rip you off anyway, just like all dealers do, I get that. But Come on! I wouldnt even give them 1 star, it just that this requires you to. The guy, Gary, that sold it to me, I cant even stand the reminder of him. when I had the wheel fall off, I came back to them and said that I dont want to deal with them anymore and that they can take my car and shove it you know where, the one of the owners goes "You can trade it in and get another one." Trade in??? and you know how much they were giving me? I was going lose about $3000 - $4000!! after about 3 months driving it! They were full of crap. Those people who said they had a great experience - Im glad for you. But I want the dealership to go bankrupt in a very near future.

My wife and I bought a new Honda Odyssey from Ralph Honda in 2009. We had held out on buying a minivan but having our 3rd child put us over the top. We needed more room! With a growing family and little extra cash we were looking for a fair deal on a vehicle we could trust with our whole family. In fact, we took our whole family to Ralph to check out the car. Even with our little ones poking around the showroom (enough to test anyones patience) the sales staff at Ralph couldnt have been more helpful and accomodating. They matched us with the vehicle we needed and they gave us a great trade-in for the Explorer we had outgrown. In the past two years, weve taken the car back to Ralph for regular service and have had only positive experiences. Im not a "car person" so any car maintanence makes me nervous about getting ripped off. Not only have I never felt that way about Ralph, but my wife (the primary Odyssey driver) has often remarked that she feels the same way too. Buying and getting car service makes us as nervous as anyone - thats why Id like to spread the word about this great company. Ralph Honda treated our whole family like family. Well be back there whenever we need service. And were looking forward to the day we can get something a little sportier than a minivan too!

Elvis Pagan...need i say more....Ive been looking for a dealership to work with as a singe female. I poopooed that Id be treated differently than a man or a woman who had a man with her when looking for a vehicle. i went to dealerships in Buffalo looking for a jeep lease, it wasnt pleasant, yep i left a review. My experiences were awful, I was treated at those dealerships like i couldnt buy a car by myself, how could I do that. I decided to halt my search until someone recommended Ralph Honda, Elvis Pagan. WOWWOWWOW...I can only say thank u for a job well done... Elvis was extremely helpful, went way beyond any salesman Ive ever conducted business with, skilled, knowledgable, and the process was pretty painless, easy breezy. I highly suggest you contact Elvis Pagan if youre looking for a vehicle. You will not be disappointed, Ralph Honda should be so proud of Elvis. Oh and one of Elviss helpers assisted one of my clients with her cars bluetooth, while Elvis and I finished the paperwork which was really easy. She was so impressed, she may be going to trade in her new vehicle for a Honda. BE PROUD RALPH HONDA...I will return and will send others to you. THANK U SO MUCH FOR THIS POSITIVE EXPERIENCE !!! dianabslmt

Avoid this place!! Ralph Honda does NOTHING RIGHT about Hondas. I was buying a van from this place and the sales guy was more interested in selling me floor mats under the table than by listing the price on the contract. They did NOT disclose information regarding the vehicle to me and when confronted with the information gave me all sorts of ridiculous answers. On top of it their service department is pathetic. There is a service guy whose name starts with S who is rude and impatient...does not listen to your complaint and so does not get the right fix done. Then there is the service manager who claims that he took my vehicle for a test drive and found nothing wrong...when I drove the vehicle with the tech right after the service manager took the right, the tech admitted to the issue. There is the associate service manager or operations manager who said that there are problems that they cannot fix because they lose money on that business. In all this is a shady place, you are better off dealing with a different dealer. Other comments in these forums paint a similar image. Im looking for a second van for my business and am not going back to these folks!!

Im a little OCD when it comes to my Honda CR-Z (which I purchased @ Ralph Honda 8 months ago), and I really appreciate the service team looking into the little nuances I notice about my car. Such as my outer driver-side door handle creaking and me not being able to open the door when the sun has been shining on it. I have one month left of the bumper-to-bumper warranty, so they replaced the handle for me. And then I noticed that my inner weather strip on that door had become wavy, came back the next day and they tried to get it to lie flat but it would not. So now they are ordering a new one of those. Thank you for accommodating my pickiness! I know you must deal with a lot of complaints every day. Steve Pecora is usually who checks me in and out or who I speak to on the phone. You guys have definitely earned my continued business. Even after most of my warranty is gone, coming to Ralph Honda will be worth the extra $$$ because they stand behind their work.
