My husband and I were new to the car buying scene and honestly quit overwhelmed with it all. We do not have the benefit of being natives to the area and didnt know anyone personally in the car selling business. We decided to drive down Market St. (there are tons of dealerships on this road) and check out what some of the dealerships had. We drove through several of the parking lots, but didnt see anything that we liked. Some of the dealerships had people waiting on golf carts to greet you (we didnt want to deal with that). Finally we found Oceanside. Their car lot isnt huge, but we could tell by the quality of their cars, that they chose only the best. We were greeted by a lovely lady named Sondra. She asked what we were looking for and showed us the options they had on the lot. At no point in time during our experience with her was she pushy or demanding. Instead, she was thoughtful, kind, and patience. She let us test drive whatever vehicle we were interested in. She told us that they do not buy from auctions. They hand pick all of their cars and a lot of them are local trade ins. This was very apparent in their selection of vehicles. We ended up purchasing a 2007 Toyota Highlander that had just broke 100,000 miles. The car was well taking care of and looked almost new. There were a few dings around the vehicles, but nothing that stood out greatly. Sondra was amazing at find us the best interest rates and working with our bugdet. Even after we had purchased the car they were looking out for us. Before she sold the car to us a part had been order to replace one of the front head lights, because there was condensation collecting in it. They called us a few days later to let us know that we could come in to get it replaced free of charge! They could have easily returned the part and left us with a damaged product. Instead, they were happy to take care of the issue for us! What we thought was going to be a stressful event turned out to be one of the best purchases we have ever made. If you are looking for a smaller dealership with AMAZING customer service and employees who are willing to go out of their way for you, then look no further than Oceanside Motor Company! Dont forget to ask for Sondra!

If you dread car-shopping (as you should), give this place a shot. I had a smooth experience buying a car for a great price from Sondra. Everything was upfront with no animosity between seller and buyer. I called ahead to schedule a test drive. Sondra was waiting outside with the keys without any stalling. She let me take the car alone for as long as I needed, which enabled me to thoroughly check out the car, which was in great shape for its price. I was slightly worried about a brake light being out and the horn not working, but after taking it back to the dealer, their two full-time mechanics were able to replace the bulb and reconnect a wire that had come loose from the horn. I wasnt able to bring her down much from the offered price, but it was well under the NADA value, so I was happy to jump on it. Another hour of paperwork, and I was driving home with a lovely used car! I really did enjoy the drive home. The car felt and looked almost new, inside, outside, and under the hood. They also filled the gas tank before we left. I would recommend this place to a friend. Its like buying a car from your neighbor. They only buy locally, not from auctions, so you have a good chance of finding a quality used car from Oceanside!

Best auto dealer in the Wilmington area. Service is comparable to none! Their sales and service team have gone above and beyond our expectations (and our expectations were pretty high!). Cutler was AWESOME and able to meet us on price for our Suburban. Even after the sell... I arrived at the facility at 6:57pm (I guess after closing at 7pm??? and this was after I had called to make sure it was ok to go by to get our plates and was told to come on). Everyone was out of the office and pulling out of the parking lot. BUT...RONNIE was not satisfied with the fact that I would have had to come back and stayed to put on my license plate IN THE RAIN! What a great crew they have. Dont go anywhere else and waste your money. If you care about service, youll get the best here :-)

Absolutely love this company and the people who work there! 3 years ago I bought my nissan maxima from Cutler, and absolutely loved it. Cutler was amazing, didnt push me at all into feeling obligated. He was kind, and knew it was my first time buying a car on my own and made me feel so comfortable. Then yesterday and today I worked with Peter to get an Infiniti G37X. Once again no pressure. He made me feel comfortable, listened to my needs and wants of what I wanted in my next car and then showed me the Infiniti. I was unsure, but he never once made me feel like I had to buy it right then. He also suggested calling my insurance to see how much it would cost! Love these people! Will never buy another car anywhere else!

Please dont buy anything from these people. I had my truck for less than months before I left for college and the transmission failed me. They wouldnt offer to do anything to help me and I basically had to take the loss and get a totally different vehicle from another dealership and roll most of my loan into a cheaper car. They sell junk that looks really nice at first glance, and for top dollar. I am sure I paid twice as much as I should for a vehicle that would break down in less than 2 months. I just graduated college and I tell everyone I know who is buying a car to please avoid this place.

I wouldnt buy a single thing from these people! they sold me a car that i found out later was marked up very high and made me highly upside in my new vehicle and to top it all off a month 1/2 after purchasing the vehicle it started to break down and they said they will not do anything to help me bc my warranty had just went out! im still without a vehicle and the one they sold me is sitting in my driveway after i have already put over 1,000 in it to be fixed! i will make sure no one in my family or friends buys from this place

My boyfriend and I went here looking for an affordable and reliable SUV after getting pulled and pushed around at every other dealership in town. We were pleasantly surprised when we got there and they were completely upfront with us and so wonderful to work with! They all were so nice and seemed to really care about what you need. One of the best experiences at a car dealership, I would highly recommend anyone to visit them! They went above and beyond not only to make us feel important during the sale but they found the best interest rate and constantly advised us of the update! And of course if we ever need to have service done, they have expanded with a certified mechanic!
