I had visited multiple dealerships to find a car under 5k for my college daughter. I have bought multiple used cars, however usually on the higher end and at reputable dealers. I made the mistake of being tired of searching, and bought a 2008 Chevy Cobalt for about 4K from Mr. Mendoza. I drove the car down route 1, it was a bit louder than I liked, but reviews of the car had it with a loud exhaust. The carfax provided was clean. Warning signs I ignored, missed, and were not discussed: safety inspection due in 2 months, he brought a jump starter to the car in case it didnt turn over (it did fine), he had to put air in a tire. I am to blame, the car was bought as is. Brought it to my mechanic and his words to me were Are you financially committed to this car? Turns out it was in an accident, obviously unreported, and the front end had been put back together. I am not sure by whom. It failed safety, tie-rod and back lights. $250 in after a month and still not right. Saving grace is I traded in my daughters Toyota Matrix for $1k to him and I paid $1 for it, yes one dollar. Do not buy a car from this dealership.

Worst place to buy a car not even worth the time...david mendosa and his workers are a scam...when the car breaks their expensive warranty scam dosent cover anything and you on your own to fix it...dosent make sense for a new Honda motor to go bad in two weeks after its bought...ontop of all this they secretly put tracking devices on all their in house financed vehicles and watch your every move....avoid d&m diacount auto do yourself a favor....david mendosa is a crook!! I will be sure to have this place shut down in the future

The car I bought from them wouldnt even go into reverse the day after I bought it. I informed Mr.Mendoza about this and he suggested I buy a warranty from them for another $400 , but it "probably wouldnt cover the repair the car needed ". Since I had already bought it As Is he wasnt offering to do anything. I believe he knew what was wrong when he sold it to me. I couldnt drive it and had to put $1100.00 more in repair work to get it fixed. Dont buy anything from this place. Doesnt even rate 1 star

Scam!!! They sell you junk cars"lemons". Then warranty? Ha yea they make u pay for warranty but there is no warranty. This whole place is a piece of work, I RECOMMEND DONT EVER BUY A VEHICLE FROM HERE! The absolute worst half ass business ive ever seen! There very rude and will do ANYTHING to scam people into buying. Just be careful out here people. You never know. But I do know he will be shut down!!!

Sold my wife a 2004 impala told her just had the power steering bad. Turns out it had more than that bad had to put more than $1,500 in order for it to pass inspection almost what we payed for the car this place is a scam.
