We recently renovated our first kitchen. After searching all the local stores such as Loews, Best Buy, etc... we decided to give P.C. Richard a try. On our first visit we kept to ourselves. The selection was almost overwhelmingly diverse. The longer we looked, the more we were drawn to the designer area. This is where you can see the best of every brand in an installed setting. Even if your not going to buy designer, its a great place to find your own direction. This is something you wont find in a appliance department of other stores. The designer section in PC Richard of Riverhead is also where we found Glen Hopkins. Im not one for sales people. I always shy away from pressure when it comes to any purchase. I like to research and look. I never disregard price, but it is not always a true indicator of quality. This is where Glen made the difference. He didnt sell us anything other than what we already wanted. In fact, once he got a little background, he kept us from buying the things we would have regretted. His knowledge of the products he sells goes far beyond what you would expect. When it comes to resolving problems and answering questions Glen gets it done right and quick. You could say he is old school in way, but really he is more of a rarity than that. Hes honest and determined to get you what you want. His professional and friendly manner made an overwhelming project easy. The next time your replacing an appliance or getting something youve always wanted, dont just go to PC Richard, go see Glen!

4 reviews 5.0 star rating 10/31/2016 I appreciated the guidance I received from Susan at PC in Riverhead. I felt she had my best interest at heart as she helped me select a new washer and dryer. The delivery was only $65 and included taking away the old washer and dryer and included hook up of the new units. There was excellent communication from PC Richards regarding the delivery date. First Susan called me to tell me the delivery date, and then there was a follow up call, and another call from the driver when he was on his way. When the units were delivered, the delivery guys, Randall and William were excellent. I have never received such outstanding service as I did from these two guys. They were polite, well spoken and knowledgeable. They took care when taking out the old and bringing in the new washer and dryer. Randall checked to make sure both units ran properly after installing and hooking them up. Then he showed us how to use them and gave us extra tips on optimal results. It was raining during the time they were coming in and out, and I noticed William cleaning up their footprints on the tile with a paper towel. These guys were fantastic!

I am writing this review in reference to the service and cooperation I have received at your Riverhead store. After months of phone calls and empty promises, I was lucky enough to finally get complete satisfaction and service from two of your employees. I spoke with Mr. Claudio Visco the manager of your Riverhead store he looked into my situation promised he would return my call , and did so in a very timely manner. Mr. Visco told me to come into the store at my convenience and pick out another refrigerator . I came into the store, was greeted by a sales person Mr. Vic Lagattolla, and was shown a selection of refrigerators. I found one that fit my needs and the purchase was completed. Both gentlemen were knowledgeable and helpful with my selection. After many months of grief and frustration all was taken care of in a very short time. Recently my husband and I shopped at the PC Richards in Riverhead for new kitchen appliances. We needed to purchase a refrigerator and oven. We were lucky enough to be helped by a super friendly and informative sales rep, Glen. Glen offered great advice on choosing our appliances. After we made our selections, he gave us great advice and checked to make sure that we would be ready to install the appliances when they were delivered- check the door size, any fittings and wiring we would need and even advice on using the filtered water feature of our new refrigerator. Glen was great, before we finalized our sale, he went above and beyond to see if anything else at home needed attention from batteries to new mattresses! I have always been impressed by PC Richards and this recent visit/purchase confirmed what I already knew- PC Richards is the only place for us to shop, and we will most definitely look to work with Glen again in the future! PS--the new appliances are fantastic!

Best service Ive received in any retail store. Butch the manager greeted me at the door and pointed me in the right direction. As soon as I got to the refrigerators, a salesman introduced himself as Glenn and asked if I needed any assistance, I assured him that if I needed assistance Id let him know. Sure enough a few minutes after looking I found myself full of questions, I then only walked a few feet and Glenn was right there waiting for me, he was able to easily answer all my questions. I was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge of the product. As I was checking out, A stock kid I believe his name was Sean greeted me at the terminal. He checked the receipt and helped me with putting my fridge in the vehicle. My experience in Riverhead PC Richards was beyond any retail experience Ive ever had and I will definitely continue doing business with them.

My husband and I went in looking for a specific salesman, Glenn, whom we have known for many years and who has always taken excellent care of us. Glenn was not in today but a wonderful and knowledgeable salesman , Joe, was professional enough to explain everything to us and tell us we were more than welcome to come back another day when Glenn was in or he could take care of us if we would like.We came looking to buy 3 major kitchen appliances and were amazed and truly pleased by the service and the respect shown to us and to Glenn by both Joe and the manager John. We walked out 2 hours later with the purchase of 3 major kitchen appliances with full warranties and a price that could not be beat! Hats off to a company that for 32 years has been loyal to us and its refreshing that the same customer service is extended today as it was 32 years ago.

PC Richards (in Riverhead) says they will guarantee to beat their competitor prices, but what they dont tell you is that you have to come in with a better competitor price to get the deal. For example, I wanted to buy a refrigerator at Home Depot, but they didnt have it in stock. So I went to PC Richards and their price for the same exact refrigerator was $100 more. When I said I could buy it at Home Depot for $100 less, they matched the price. But if I hadnt done my homework -- or done any comparison shopping -- I would have been charged $100 more. Thats no way to run a business. Its borderline price gauging. Its even a bit like a con game. You dont really get the best price unless you come to PC Richards prepared. In short, PC Richards will overcharge you unless you come in with a lower competior price.
