I bought an iPhone 6 from Best Buy almost two months ago. My husband was looking at the iPhone 6; when he saw the price, he was going to look at Amazon or eBay for a cheaper phone. My husband was then advertised a "free phone" by Dana, if he signed up with NEX program. My husband brought me back to your store and we were assisted by Chris. Chis also promoted a free iPhone 6. I told Chris about the corporate discount we receive for our data plan many times. Chris said that I would receive an additional discount for enrolling in the NEX program and that while I would still see the price of the iPhone on my AT&T bill, it would wash from the additional discount from signing up with the NEX program. I signed the Truth in Lending disclosure confirming that the phone would still "technically" be finance; Chris said that he could not provide me with any paperwork regarding the discount. He had handwritten what my bill would now be with this additional discount, which was about $4 cheaper than what I was paying. I was very skeptical, but Chris assured me over and over what seemed too good to be true was not. Last month, my bill came out and I did not receive any additional discount for enrolling in the NEX program. I spoke with Dana and he said I was not eligible for any additional discount. I emailed the general manager, Lynne, and Josh reached out to me. Josh said that Chris had told me correctly and my bill went up temporarily due to proration of the phone. Josh assured me that I would see the difference on my bill this month. My paper bill came in the mail last week and I was not receiving any additional discount. I have been calling Best Buy for a week now. I have been promised phone calls back and never received them. I finally spoke with Josh and he said he could not do anything and that he would contact an AT&T analyst. I never heard back from anyone. I called back in and spoke to Tyler. He had an AT&T analyst call me. The AT&T analyst is saying that she has never heard of Best Buy promoting a free phone. She said this is not something she can handle. I am so frustrated. No one was willing to help me. I am so disappointed in Best Buy for the poor customer service and for ultimately lying to me, just to make a sale. I will never make a sale with Best Buy again and I will relay "my story" to my colleagues, friends, and family. Now Im stuck with paying almost $700 when I was told I would receive a free phone. Best Buy will commit fraud to make a sale. Im done with them.

NEVER BUY PRE OWNED GAME DVD AND GET TREATED VERY PATHETIC BY THIS BEST BUY MANCHESTER STORE PEOPLE: Two issues here. 1. The DVD had a tag saying XBOX authenticated it. But apparently the authentication process is not good and those are being sold in this store. 2. That is NOT A WAY ON EARTH TO treat a customer who came back lost. Story as follows: I have bought a game DVD which is marked as Pre Owned and priced as $19.99. It was very first Xbox for my son and he was very excited to play. The next morning after playing for exactly 1.5 hour, the xbox started saying Disk is unreadable. We were very upset and then we thought not to buy pre owned and then searched for new ones. To our surprise WALMART gave the same game BRAND NEW for $15.92 and was very happy. So, grabbed my BEST BUY Pre owned DVD and went to store to return it. CUSTOMER TREATMENT WAS PATHETIC: I explained them that the DVD was bought last night and so I want to return it as it is not at all readable. They dont want to listen to my situation and said you opened it , opened it, opened it and so it cant be refunded. I said give me at least another title. They said a big NO and you have to take the same title and suggested me to return the BRAD NEW Walmart DVD I bought for $15.92. I was very upset and showed the scratches on the DVD to both the lady in return counter(SASHAY) and the Manager(HOSEY). Trust me this manager guy was really pissed for some reason. I guess he thought I am one of those cases where I swapped some junk DVD and with theirs and tried to gain money out of it. In the end I asked the lady about the managers name. She rudely said I am not telling you his name, you want to know, go and ask him. Another interesting thing is the DVD, I tried to swap with, she opened the case right in front of me and said it is policy and she checked the DVD and said this one does not have any scratches. May be the intention behind here could be I cant resell it if I was trying to cheat them. Now I dont know what to do, I have brand new Walmart DVD and the pre owned DVD swapped by BESTBUY. Bottom line is NEVER BUY PRE OWNED DVDs from this store and get treated like me. I bought plenty of items earlier in this same store, they just lost me over 20 bucks.

GeekSquad is horrible! I bring my laptop in because WiFi doesnt work and its a known issue with this model. I tell them the WiFi doesnt work and the mouse/control pad stops working randomly. They send it for "repair" for two weeks. I get it back and immediately notice the control/mouse pad is the same and not fixed AND, more importantly, that WiFi STILL doesnt work! What happened during those two weeks? They said they supposedly replaced my hard drive... why replace the hard drive for a WiFi/WiFi card issue?! What does the hard drive gotta do with WiFi? NOTHING! Like,... dont you test things before you send it back to the customer and say its fixed? Apparently not because I immediately noticed they didnt do a darn thing to fix it! Why leave me a voice mail and give me signed paperwork saying its fixed when its not? Complete waste of my time. They have no clue. Apparently the WiFi card is located in the hard drive. When I complain, obviously annoyed and frustrated that they wasted my time and did absolutely nothing to repair my laptop in two weeks, the manager threatens to call the police on me! Another thing... I bought that cheapest fitbit zip or whatever and they asked if i wanted geeksquad protection. LOL REALLY, for that!? Why would anyone buy protection or services from these geeks? They geeks cant even fix my laptop and dont know the difference between WiFi and a hard drive, so how would they fix a little enclosed fitbit the size of a quarter which you cant even open? Do yourself a HUGE favor. DO NOT give your property to the geeks to repair, as they will waste your time (wasted 2 of my weeks) and lack the skills necessary to repair any computer. (not like you need a computer science degree to work at bestbuy) Bring your laptop to a REAL repair center. They toyed with me for two weeks, returning my laptop in the same condition in which I initially gave it to them.

The Toshiba laptops they sell are horribly defective! Earlier this year in January I bought a c55 for like $300 and the Wi-Fi never works; it is a known problem with these laptops, just look at the reviews for the Toshiba C55 models. Toshiba didnt help and best buy didnt either because their return policy is crap. So, feeling ripped off and because I couldnt return it and didnt want to waste my time with Toshiba or geek squad, I bought a new one, switched em out and returned the broken one. Not only should Toshiba quit making laptops that arent tested to ensure they properly work, and which are made to become immediately obsolete, best buy should quit selling their trash. I dont feel bad about what I did because I was sold a product which was defective right from the factory and best buy refused to help; Toshiba world have charged money to fix even under warranty. Toshiba is known to manufacture cheap and poorly built laptops, only for them to become unavailable and obsolete.
