Well, brought my car in for some much needed aftermarket audio. They have done my tints and my remote starter! Drone Mobile is the only way to go! Ive heard some of their products playing during those visits. Got me thinking. Thought I would treat myself to a real audio experience. Paul gets creadit for that one. We went with the stock head unit, as it had my navigation, an amp, RCA input/ouput, component speakers all around, and a dual sub box. Seemed like a simple build. Dropped my car off Thursday morning and was scheduled to pickup Saturday. When I picked it up Saturday there were a few things wrong and there was a communication breakdown. Basically, the component speakers were blown due to the incorrect setting on the amp. That is the best way to sum it up. one would think that is where the story ends. Angry customer. Ill admit I was a tad upset. That wasnt the end of the story everyone!!!! Denis, Steve, and Paul stepped up like they were the big man on campus. Walk it out! There is a break in period for all new systems that was not communicated. They replaced the component speaks completely They replaced the RCA output/imput as there was slight jiggle in the connection. Who does that? A copmpany that cares about their customers. They spent real time tuing my system to the heavy metal I love. There were tweeters int he dahs that were way too bright. They put coaxials in the dahs to dampen that and reay tie in the system. When I drive down the road, at the recommended break in volume, Im relaxed and enjoying the ride even with Five Finger Death Punch playing. The work they do compels one to love the drive and fall in love with music all over again. They might be small..... but they walk ... and talk.... and live like they are the shop. They are the only place Ill ever go for my vehicle electronics! Great job everyone! Yous guys rock!

I went in to have a full car audio install done (except head unit which I was going to keep stock due to capabilities). I already had purchased what I thought was the best for my vehicle. Steve noticed mistakes in my planning including my failed purchase of coaxial speakers, while my car had component speakers (did not notice them up on dash or only in the rear doors). He realized my focus was not so much on sound quality, but powerful bass, and adjusted my purchases to reflect my desires. I ended up with a Kenwood 5902 in dash receiver, with adapters (idatalink Maestro kit) to integrate with my vehicles steering wheel functions, a full wiring to a jlaudio 1k amplifier running a single 10" jl audio w7 in a ported enclosure. My rating comes from one simple deal I had for myself when I had the install done, either they got it done in the 4 hours they stated (I actually waited around), or they were a fair practice on their word for price. They went a full hour over their install time, and when it came time to pay, they only charged me for the 4 hours of installation rather than the 5. THAT IS A FAIR BUSINESS! Every step of the process has been friendly, helpful, and understanding to passions and love for music and cars, and I am even skeptical of any poor ratings against Mobile-Electronics. Lifelong customer, next step is a wrap-around tinting, cant wait.

Sad so sad, Frustrating & EXPENSIVE... I spent over 4k on a mid to high end state of the art bitwise processor, speakers, sub...etc...I was repeatedly told that I would be blown away by the system and that they had the skills to install and calibrate the system...Honestly...the system is a mind blowing audio experience but unfortunately these guys had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what they were doing...The hours and hours I spent at the shop (you think they could have bought me a cup of coffee?), only to have to come back AGAIN and AGAIN...Wow...so SAD...After four trips back and forth they couldnt even come close to setting up the system properly. CLUELESS..I wanted to believe in these guys but I CANNOT recommend them except maybe for low end installs, remote key starters or a tint job...If you have money to spend FIND SOMEONE ELSE! NOTE to all the expert Audison professionals (NOT) at Mobile Electronics: The setup and config really wasnt that hard...Active two way front stage, Passive rear and a bridge channel to the sub...a few adjustments to the amp settings in the software (dont limit the amp to only 5amps doh!) ...Maybe if someone READ the MANUAL or spent the time to get it right or just simply paid attention to what they were doing this wouldnt have been such a bad experience.

Came into install a head unit from Crutchfield. After talking with Steve he talked me into a different unit that was a better value, so I took his word for it and return the Crutchfield unit. The new Sony unit wasnt working right after month, I had to deal with Sony on my own, Mobile Electronics seemed disinterested with my situation so I handled it on my own even shipping it back. When I asked Steve if he could pull the unit out for me since he put it in he wanted to charge me, then he said he wanted to charge me if he had to reinstall it again. After negotiating he agreed to uninstall it and reinstalled the new one if Sony sent me the same one. After shipping everything back, Sony they gave my money back for a new unit.I asked Mobile to install it for me, they wanted hundred dollars which I thought was unreasonable seeing he sold me the defective one. So I decided to install my own unit on my . When opening my dash I discovered the back of my dash chopped up in the back, shredded plastics, and screws missing from my original manufacture head unit. These guys are butchers and hacks untrustworthy. When you first meet them they are very nice and polite ,but after the sale they dont want to know you and they dont do quality installs ,stay away please!!!! Ive been going to Mobile Electronics for several years and have purchased an alarm system and two full stereo systems for both of my vehicles. Steve and Paul were extremely helpful and patient with me when making my decisions and setting up my game plan of what to get for my cars. I went several times to check out different combinations over the course of a year without even spending a dime and got full assistance every time until I was ready for installation. Mobile Electronics does an excellent job with installing their components in such a clean and professional way as to completely compliment your vehicle. Their prices and installation rates are very reasonable. In total, I have purchased two head units, full replacement speakers for two cars, alarm system, and a custom mounted amp nicely concealed in my quarter panel. I will definitely be paying Mobile Electronics another visit for my subwoofer install down the road and I am looking forward to dealing with excellent customer service interaction with them once again.

I am a professional in customer relations and had the occasion to have stereo/information system installed in my sons 2008 four runner. After calling my go to car friends they recommended Paul and Steve at Mobile Electronics in Wallingford,CT. Went there on a Saturday morning expecting to have to make an appointment- no, they had several installers and would be happy to take the car right in. Two and a half hours later I had a factory looking installation complete with the latest software upgrade for the system. Steve sat down with me and ran through the various components and menus, knew the unit inside and out. Then Paul called me a week later to make sure everything was going well and did I have any questions.WOW. Blew me away…amazing customer service, thorough knowledge of the product, and superb installation. All at what I thought was a very fair price. See them!
