I pre-ordered a White Galaxy S6 edge on Verizon in-store a week before it came out. The day before the phone comes out and i am supposed to pick it up, i receive a phone call from the best buy store saying that i need an appointment. I asked what times they had and they said the only time left was at 7:00 PM. I come to best buy at 7 on the dot that day. There is a line just to get the phone for people with appointments. There is only about four or five people in line and it takes an hour before we are up. It is our turn and a manager comes up to us whos name is Berto and says that he has some unfortunate news. They thought that i ordered the ATT varient of the device and not the Verizon. He said that there were none of the 32GB Galaxy S6 edges left of Verizon becuase they just sold the last two to someone else. I immediately pulled out my paperwork that i got when doing the pre-order and it specifically said a Verizon Galaxy S6 edge white 32GB. I showed him the paperwork and he was accomodating and said that a sales asociate would help us out and that they would just give us the 64GB for the same price as the 32, refunding me the difference on a gift card. It takes about another 45 minutes just for them to get the phone through the system. The sales associate opens the box and sitting in it is a black galaxy s6 edge 64GB. I almost walked out an left at that point as they just couldnt get me the proper device. It then took another half an hour for them to process the return and re-setup the white phone. While this mess was going on, the sales associate was trying to get Berto (manager) to come to the area we were sitting at so that he could process the gift card. Berto replied on the earpeice saying that he was taking a quick break. We waited another ten minutes untill the sales associate tried again to contact Berto. He realized that Berto had just left the store as it was now 9:15 and the store was closed. They called Berto on the phone and he said that he never told us that we could receive a gift card for the price difference, ambiguosly lying over the phone. He said that we could purchase something in the store and the difference would be applied to the purchase. The entire store was pitch-black except for one square area where we were sitting. They made us pick out ink and we ended up purchasing 5 packs of ink for the printer. What best buy did was wrong extremely unprofessional. My message is: DO NOT BY A CELL PHONE AT BEST BUY!!!!!

Well my experiences with Best Buy over the years especially since Circuit City, and CompUSA have gone out of business. Best Buy customer service absolutely sucks! They make up the rules as they go now their return policy is 15 days which most people dont know so they sucker you into spending $1,400 per year so you can have a return policy which is still the least amount of time in the industry. I mean come on, we all know Walmart sucks but they give you a 90 day return policy and without a receipt walk into Best Buy with no receipt you cant even get a store credit they do nothing but give me aa Jana! What happened to the customer was always right? Over an approximate eight year span I had spent over $175,000 for my business in various best buys. And 3 days ago I go to a local Connecticut Best Buy to return an unopened Otterbox Defender which my wife purchased for the wrong phone. 60 bucks down the frigging drain. Unopened, they would not even let me exchange it for the right one. In my opinion, you suck people! Lastly, I just read a few reviews about the Newington Connecticut Store. You are absolutely right the store manager there is an absolute ignorant fool. He thinks hes an intelligent person. But hes really a very stupid stupid person. My 12 year old daughter could run that Store better than he does! Thanks for the reminder

I thoroughly enjoy shopping at Best Buy and have never had even the slightest bad experience at one until I stepped into this store. This store is full of the most incompetent people I have ever met in my life. I can not believe that people with this severe lack of customer service skills work for this company. Beyond that they do not even have general people skills or even want to make the slightest attempt to do their job. I have worked for this company in the past and know how price matching works, and how it is entered into their POS system. While their the customer service employee tried to argue with me and explain they could not honor a price match from their own Reward Zone program. She got a what this store calls "Manager" to help and the cup of coffee I had this morning was more useful than this person. With all that said, if you are looking to make a Mobile Phone purchase this Best Buy Mobile is amazing, Jon and the other associates are exceptional. The only reason I ever came back to this store was these employees although outside of the Best Buy Mobile is another story.

Went in twice to get a car stereo. First time was in the morning. Store is dead. Was told to wait and after 15min of nothing left to work. Second time was the next day after work. Peak time like 530pm. Some vendor selling flat screens told me to smile more as I walked in, which is a gross way to greet female customers. After 5min of finding no one I finally got a computer guy to help me who had no idea what he was doing, manager was unhelpful, and ultimately had nothing that I wanted which was compatible with my car. Waste of time.

Customer service was disappointing. We were made to wait for around 30 minutes and when our turn came, no one from the team knew about the latest offers and schemes for the products they are selling. They passed on questions to each other but none gave the clear answers. Finally we were asked to check the offers online on our own.I personally believe contracted phones are better to be bought from carrier stores as these multi-product stores like Best buy usually dont have much knowledge on each of the products they are selling.

They had the excact phone that I was looking for, Richard helped me purchase and activate it within a few minutes. This store is kept well stocked and very clean, and they are always helpful each time I go. I am also looking to get a new laptop within the next month, and this friendly lady with a samsung shirt gave me a great description on why she thought the galaxy tab was so great, and she helped me decide to make a smarter purchase. They are so great here!

While the employees are nice and kind, i have encountered 2 groups of people have been very dergadefull on me. I have tourettes and a couple of people, mocked my vocal tics, where i ran off crying. today, i accidentally interrupted a woman with her family and she talked ruddy to me and made me cry, worst of all, the workers didnt say anything, iforgot what she said, but i remember that she threatened me. I WILL NEVER COMEE HERE AGAIN!
