If I could give this store and company no stars, I gladly would! Oh sure, were all smiles and happy folk as youre purchasing...but...never have a problem! Just be sure that you realize any insurance plan you purchase from these scammers might as well be written on toilet paper. Last August, I purchased an apple iPod air. I was talked into a 159 dollar insurance policy on it, being told by the salesman and manager that if I have ANY problem with the device, I will walk out of their store with a new device! I say Nay Nay! My iPad stopped accepting a charger. I walked into the store, over to the Geek squad, and was told. Okay, well send you a refurbished iPad in about two or three days! I said whoa..Apple sells refurbished iPads for 299 dollars! What about the insurance policy, what about walking out with a new iPad! They said Nay Nay! I said I need my iPad to do my work on,..tough! I said then give me back my insurance money..nay nay! I had to go to Apple, which they told me was 15 min away. Try an hour. The Apple folk laughed and said theyre always getting people who dealt with Best Buy and get no satisfaction. They immediately replaced my iPad. Consumer be warned!!!

Some associates are great some are rude and unhelpful. The geek squad is awful. Many bad experiences with them. Most recent was picking up an ipad for repair. I asked if they would put a screen protector it to prevent another accident and I was informed they charge 15 dollars for that. You would think they would do it as a courtesy considering I purchased it there! Also had awful experiences with computers taking a month to get back and then it still not being fixed and then fighting to get them to replace the item even though they repaired it unsuccessfully so many times and not honoring the exteneed warranty and replacement contract. And then they rarely have advertised items in stock. Overall below average experiences.

Was going to purchase a phone. While in the process of giving information needed another female employee came over and yelled at my husband. He is hard of hearing and moved in close to hear the woman taking his information. The other employee was rude to him because he was to close to the screen with his information on it. After being yelled at by this employee my husband asked for his id back and we left. Went to Patchogue Best Buy where there was no rude, yelling employee and purchased the almost $600. phone. Well worth the drive to not be yelled at and was helped by an absolutely pleasant and friendly person in a store that wasnt absolute mayham.

I like to go and look at my electric before o purchase - even if it is something so simple as a charging cord - so a brick and mortar store is great for that. However it seems anymore the one item you go for isnt in stock and you have to "settle" for another kind/brand. Not life changing but I like Samsung parts for my Samsung phone, etc... Otherwise I would give this store 5 stars. They always greet you on the way in, ask if you need help and usually will open another cashier if the line gets long - which is something others stores could take a hint on.

The staff is nice but not enough of them. The geek squad people are completely awful. I got the surface pro 4, and use it for school. I use the pen to take notes and in the middle of finals week the pen broke. They said they needed to replace the whole computer, and when I got it back they gave me the same broken pen!!! Ugh, just one of my many horrible experiences with the geek squad!!!! So frustrating!! And no one will do anything about it when I complain!

Good prices, decent selection but I would LOVE to purchase electronics with less (preferably none) of the sexism/misogyny. Seriously I am 36 years old, I have used a computer since I was 6 ... so no, I do not appreciate a guy who has just recently completed puberty calling me out of my name and providing basic info that I did not ask for. I might as well have been at a Car Dealer being show the lighted vanity mirror for easy lipstick application.

i miss circuit city, i bought a $400 camcorder, took it home, opened the box to find a very damaged camera. broughtit back to BEST BUY arrogant customer service said i dropped it and said too bad. i called the corporate office and he sarcasticly informed me that i should have opened the box before i left the store. thank goodness for small claims court. i won the case easily but the aggravation spent time, costof gas was no fun.

The store is not customer friendly..They change price matching on computers so you cant find it cheaper else where. They change a few of the numbers so you cant..I am going back to Pc Richard from now on..I also got banned for too many returns..watch out for this store..It was returns from price matching..unopened stuff with receipt..and other small items..banned for 90 days..be careful shopping at this chain

Fantastic store, great staff, they get you in and out with little hassle. A young gentleman there by the name of Epic Sunshine was I believe his name was very helpful. He helped me pick a product to route my internet around my large home wirelessly and with good connection. He answered all the questions I had clearly and understandably and I walked away very satisfied. Will be going again definitely.

Best laptop purchasing experience ever! Although they didnt have my first choice in stock, I was under time pressure to replace the laptop that had just died. The laptop department and Geek Squad had my new laptop up and running with all my files within 4 hours! I would recommend anyone to seek out Devin (Geek Squad) and Rob (Laptop Sales) for any help they might need.

Best Buy in Riverhead, NY. I just bought the Samsung Galaxy S8 (unlocked) with a 2-yr Verizon contract. Also, I received a $200 gift card from Best Buy for purchasing my phone. Jeff (Samsung expert at Best Buy) and Seamus (Verizon expert at Best Buy) helped me with everything. They are so knowledgeable & helpful, and they are truly an asset to their company.

Instead of asking what I needed, which was a box off of an upper shelf where we were standing, the employee said that there was another customer in a different part of the store that came ahead of us. So we waited 15 minutes for another employee to get ys the box which literally took less than a minute after he asked us what we needed

ZERO STARS IF I COULD GIVE THEM LESS!! I asked to speak with the store manager regarding a return. I was left waiting for 30 minutes before finally calling the corporate office to resolve my issue. Terrible service!!! Store Manager is useless and should be fired!

My wife purchased a iPhone from them in July if this year. At the time of purchase they told her if she paid 129.00 additional they would replace it. Lie they did not even plug it in and told me they can mail for me. Called apple got exchange. Never going back

Decent store. Well stocked - I guess. I recall Best Buy stocking more relevant products when I was younger. Now they primarily focus on selling TVs and phones. This store is on par with other Best Buys I have been to.
