Where to begin. Purchased $5000 worth of kitchen appliances at BB. From the beginning there were errors in the delivery date, then because of the delay in recognizing that error, our dishwasher was then out of stock. When the in stock items were delivered, they were not unwrapped and flaws in the appliances went unnoticed. Upon seeing a huge dent in the fridge door I called BB. They offered an exchange or a BB gift card for 15% of the purchase price. Later that day when the microwave was unwrapped it was noted to be the wrong color. Again I had to contact BB. After being on hold for an eternity I explained how we were unhappy with the entire purchase experience, especially since by then I noticed yet another flaw in the construction of the refrigerator door. I was told that someone would call us the next day to address these issues. No call was ever received, so I called BB. I was on the phone for 50 minutes and got NO WHERE! I was told I was on hold to see if the microwave was in stock. I asked that they call me when they found out since I was sick of being on hold, he said they could not make "out bound" calls. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that there was no one available. At this point I have had it. I have decided to cancel the entire purchase fearing I was only going to have headaches with these people and it seems they dont value my business anyhow.

Best Buy was helpful though incomplete for help- they referred me to GEEK SQUAD where again, incomplete in the help department. Granted, I have a MacBook Pro that is acting up but thats not the help I signed up for. I wanted guidance in iMovie and GarageBand. I made the appointment. Later they called to say they regret they cannot help for what I booked but if I wanted to come in for any other issues during that planned(now cancelled) visit that they would be happy to assist me at "No Charge" charge. I did and after a few minutes Anna, I was told that I was being charged for the time. I explained to the girl that it was suppose to be free. She insisted that there would be a charge if she did anything more. I asked her to call her Supervisor ; when I explained the situation he said pretty much the same thing and then she took over the conversation that he should have had with me. Both came off snooty and rude. I wont be back to the store as a result. Big mistake. I was planning on spending a whole lot of time and money this year on computers and programs.

I just had a surprising experience at the Best Buy store in Avon, CT. I was standing in the Apple section, looking for a case for an IPad Air, and an associate named Jan walked up and asked if he could help. I asked if he could help me find a case with a keyboard. He pointed to the front of the store and said there are some up there, then he pointed to the back and said there are some there and he also said there are some in the next aisle. He then walked away and asked a lady if he could help her. I was quite surprised because that is not the service I am accustomed to at Best Buy. I went up to him and asked if he was joking and he responded, "thats the way things work on Black Friday". Wow! I found the manager, explained the situation and walked out of the store. Very clearly, they are not interested in my business.

Went to this store to get a small tv for a guest bedroom. The older gentleman in the tv section was anything but happy to help. When I told him what I was looking for he laughed and said it was impossible. After searching for 30 minutes, I found three tvs that I needed. Was impossible to find help in any other section. The mobile install people and anyone working in the car section were not to be found. I went to another section where the person working explained "there was no one avalible to answer questions untill 3pm, thats when they come in". Avoid this best buy at all costs. The one in west hartford is faster and better.

I have to say I am completely disappointed in Best Buy. I bought my boyfriend a fitbit a month ago and now it will not hold a charge. I contacted fitbit to see what could be done to fix this and I was told it was past the 15 day grace period so there was nothing they could do and then sent me a link to their return policy. This is a $100 item that is not working properly after a month. I had planned to make some major purchases with them but now that I know if an item is not functioning after 16 days they will not assist me. ...I will never purchase from Best Buy again.

The West Hartford store refused to exchange a laptop that came defective because I didnt return it immediately. I didnt set up the computer for a month since I anticipated considerable time installing new programs and transferring data. I was treated as if I was lying about the laptop coming damaged. So if you purchase anything from any Best Buy store, be afraid, be very afraid of its return policy...and bring an attorney, a notary public and two witnesses along just in case so you are not made to feel like a liar!

This store is very good at promising things are possible before you get a contract with a carrier, but as soon as you sign and checkout of the store everything they said will turnout to be complete lies. I dont understand why they would treat their customers this way, however they seem to be doing it on purpose. Dont bother going here or even attempting to shop for a phone or a new carrier. Worst experience ever and waste of half a day. Hire some people who know what they are doing please...

Geek squad guy at desk took one look at laptop, said it would cost several hundred dollars to fix, better to just replace it. Bought a new laptop as recommended by them, did not function well. Wound up taking original laptop to local computer repair place, fixed it for under $100, works perfectly now. Returned the laptop I bought from them. Local repair guy says he has even seen evidence of Best Buy repair guys tampering with computers so you have to buy a new one. Dont trust them at all.

I am giving this Best Buy a 1 star rating because I have sent my computer in 4 times and they just do a horrible job on doing it, and break more stuff in the process. Once I water damaged my computer and they fixed it but when it came back they used a left shift on both sides and trackpad was badly installed. I also had left ports replaced and the port was still hard to connect stuff into it. I will never shop here again because they do a horrible job on repairs

Took my car to two other audio electronics store to have a radio installed in my Mercedes, and they said it was going to cost a fortune, and that it wasnt worth the time. Took it in to Best Buy to have them take a look. They installed it in 20 minutes, for less than $100 BUCKS!!! So nice to have a place where people know whats really going on. Thanks so much to the guys at Best Buy in Simsbury for hooking me up!!! You guys are AWSUME!!
