Hi this is Bob over at big Bottom Bikes, As being in business for 14 years in the same location, 7 days a week with no advertisement, I think that speaks for itself. For everyone who knows me, I give 120% to all my customers. I am straight up and honest with pricing and giving an estimate to a customer before hand. Nobody likes to hear what it cost to fix or repair anything. I believe I have a fair price at $95/hour, and to the best of my knowledge we still have the lowest labor rate on the Island. Unfortunately, I cant make everyone happy, but I do the best I can for those who walk into my shop. We are a mom and pop shop, and anyone who knows me or the shop will agree. Avoid at all costs. Bob did a pre-buy inspection on my bike and took a "deposit" of 2 hours of labor which he said hed refund if the work took less time. Nearly every thing he told me about the bike was inaccurate, even basic details like whether the brakes were interlinked (he said they were definitely not, and when I saw the bike they clearly were). He also charged me shop labor rates of $95 per hour for "spending 45 minutes on the telephone looking for parts" -- I found the same parts online after a 30 second Google search. The guy is a moron and a joke, he doesnt know anything about motorcycles but will charge you an arm and a leg to pretend that he does. Find an honest businessman instead.

Great shop. Bob is very honest and up front. Knows his stuff and does a great job. Just look at the bikes he builds. Offers free adviseand help, most shops won t. Go in andtalk to him and see. If you are a nickel and dime er and looking to take short cuts, not the place for you. Bob works on quality bikes and will not take short cuts or use cheap #$%$ parts. He takes pride in the bikes he works on. Shop makes you feel like family.
