I am just coming back after a several minutes long arguing session with one of the customer rep and sales manager at this buy. I have to say it has been worst electronics retail purchase decision ever. Few months ago i bout a TV with a protection plan. Only that the convinced me to purchase this TV was the service plan that the sales representative told me about. According to salesman, this particular plan will cover the TV completely including any kind of "PHYSICAL and ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE". I was doubtful as most protection plans do not cover physical or accidental damage; therefore, i asked him again and again with specific questions about kind of accidental damages this plan would cover. Eventually, the salesman said something like "even if you pick it throw it down and it breaks to pieces, just bring it back and we will replace it for you right away". This was important to me as house with children theres always a chance of accidental damage to the equipment. Thus, i made the decision to purchase the TV knowing that best buy would honor their word even if the TV goes through some physical accident. Three months later, one of children hit the TV with something and the LCD broke. I took the TV back, as i knew i have a protection plan that would cover physical damage, to get it replaced. Upon reaching there Best Buy customer service out-rightly refused to honor their word and told me physical damage is not covered contrary to their sales pitch which helped me to make my original purchase decision. I talked to the in-charge there (David) as original manager was not there. David was very aggressive and several times attempted to suggest that i was not telling the truth. He explicitly refused to to replace the TV and told i will have to take the loss. I am long time Best Buy customer and i never expected that i will be cheated and defrauded by best buy. Also, i never thought i would be treated in very aggressive way by a store manager. He literally refused to hear my point and said its your word against mine. I will not sit quite and will complaint the corporate office of best buy and will take the issue in counties consumer affairs and small claims court. But i do recommend all of you to be very careful when making a purchase here as they lie to sell you their products.

The store itself is clean and everything is displayed nicely. The level of training for employees here is disappointing. I stood in one place right in the middle of the store looking for an associate and not a single one even made eye contact with me. The associates routinely pass the buck when they come across difficult or uncommon situations. One associate didnt know what a rain check was which is absolutely understandable, but she tried to play it off as if she knew what it was and then finally had to redirect me to customer service after wasting my time. If you know what youre looking for and have no questions about it, this place is fine. Can you connect your laptop to this tv? "I have no idea." Does this keyboard have a mechanical switch? "What s a mechanical switch?" Obviously, no one goes into Best Buy thinking that the employees are electronics experts, but make sure to do your research on whatever product you want to purchase before walking in here.

I would have given this store no stars. Service manager Eric is rude and doesnt know how to handle his customers. I purchased a TV on line and I did a ship to store. I went to the store and picked up the TV on the 1st of January an never opened it up until the 9th because I was waiting for my wall mount to come by mail. When my husband went to take it out of the box he noticed that the TV was broken. So we went back on monday the 11th to see if we could do an exchange because the TV came defective. Eric told my husband that the return policy was only 10 days from the day of purchase. When the policy states 14days from the day you pick up your product. To make this story short my husband was unable to get an exchange in the store even the customer service rep on the phone told us that the store was suppose to exchange the TV. To top it of this purchase was over $1400.

Recently bought two computers from this store. Everythings running smoothly. I also purchased Geek Squad Service Pack from them. Haven;t had to use it so I'll update you in the future. The service was excellent and the staff knowledgeable. Would def recommend them for all your PC and Mac needs. Word of advice, keep all original boxes for at least one month and receipts for larger investments for a few years. Went there on 9-30-11 to get a present for my husband's bday and the guy at the playstation area knew nothing about the products I was looking for. To top it off.. After I told him what I wanted, another little kid came over and asked him for a game and he ran off on us. I got upset and left.. Went to gamestop and the cashier was great!!!

Terrible customer service. I waited in line for over 30 minutes to return an item and that was with only one person in front of me. The line was ten people deep (more people on the customer service line than shopping in the store) and employees refuse to open a second lane. Five blue shirt employees are standing around, staring at the line, doing nothing. One even walks behind the customer service desk, sizes up the line, and then walks away to go back to doing nothing. A patron further back in line alerted the store manager to the situation and she rudely dismissed him and refused to open a second lane. Not only will I never shop at this store again, I never plan on buying anything from best buy again.

I visited two Best Buy stores in two days and BOTH stores had the same problems at their speaker demo stations. A salesmen in each store said the same thing which was "This needs to be rewired. It never worked right from day one." I politely asked "Dont customers buy speakers based on sound? Wouldnt it be nice to hear the speakers?" They said "Youre right. Sorry." The prices in Best Buy are definitely high, especially for accessories like camera batteries, SD cards, etc..These are reasons why shoppers prefer to buy on-line. The prices are lower plus you save gas, time and money.

I love this Best Buy location... I feel like Ive bought half of my house here... If there has ever been an issue with installation or items being in stock, or anything, the customer service department is always on top of it and gets everything taken care of almost immediately. The managers and salespeople are also extremely helpful-- I think it helps that no one is on commission there. P.S. The Geek Squad is absolutely the way to go if you EVER have a problem with your computer, camera, or anything. They even do at-home service for large TVs and appliances.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Geek Squad is consistently slow, attempts to con people who know less about computers into spending money for extra things and procedures unapologetically, and has proven to be lazy in doing even the simplest of procedures. Disgusting level of service, and I would strongly recommend against making any purchases from this store unless you want to get ripped off and run in circles for something as simple and doable from home as backing up a computer.
