I would give a 0 but you cant. Honestly, I thought choosing somewhere on Long Island would be of a higher caliber then upstate where I am having my wedding and Commack is close to Kings Park where I and all my bridesmaids are from. The women who work downstairs are unintelligent, have no common sense, confuse themselves and the bridesmaids. They tell everyone a different story and changed details I, as the Bride, chose without consulting me. They did not call me when 2 of the bridesmaids shoes came in and ask me the same questions over and over again. On my phone call today, I was switched from woman to woman, repeating the same information over and over. Things that were already documented in the computer. Everytime myself or my bridesmaids have gone in there it was frazzled, frustrating, and we all left angry. It is like the whos on first routine and simple details end up going around in circles. Drove me crazy. So much for an exciting time in your life. As for the fittings and alterations. They sized everyone at least 2 sizes above what they would EVER need! They sucker you into getting alterations on everyone. My sisters both had different alterations done, one had multiple adjustments, the other just one thing. Somehow they both reached the $60 alteration price cap...? As I was trying on a dress for my best friends wedding they sized me for a dress, I asked to try on a sample and it fell to the floor off my body. Clearly, these are people who are untrained in taking measurements. If we all ordered ourselves based on trying on samples we would have had a more accurate size. I pleaded with my girls to order the size they felt compfortable with but the ladies downstairs pressured and worried them into getting bigger sizes. Every interaction with this establishment left me disgusted and literally furious.

Worst customer service ever! My cousin recommended this place after being a customer herself a year prior, but I was shocked with the service, or lack thereof. They have a wide selection, that I can give them props for. But you pretty much have to know exactly what you’re looking for. The lady pretty much threw a book onto the table and said to look through it and write down the style numbers I liked. Found a dress that I loved for my bridesmaids, and decided to come back after some more looking around. When I returned, the ladies were pretty much nowhere to be found, and when they finally decided to show up, they barely did their job. I ended up having to pull out the gown that I wanted my girls to wear, helped them get in and zipper the dress and made sure they were comfortable with it. The ladies were very rude and had a condescending tone when talking to me and my girls. When they entered my info into the system, I gave them my wedding date (originally the day after christmas, which had to be moved up to the day after thanksgiving), one of the ladies said “oh my god, are you kidding me!?” And when one of my bridesmaids was being sized, the lady who measured her said “don’t you wanna wait”, pretty much implying that my bridesmaid needed to lose weight! While I was there, I forgot to ask for a swatch of the dress color. I called the next day and asked if they could send me one. The lady on the phone had me on hold she was trying to locate a swatch and she kept coming back on the line only to tell me couldnt locate one, then having another person pick up the line and try to help me. Sounded like they run around like headless chickens in this place and have no idea where their stock is. So unprofessional, and I would never recommend this place to brides or bridesmaids.

I warn everyone to be careful of Bob- he does go back on his word. We ordered and payed for invitations, then we ordered a brides dress and 12 bridesmaid dresses....we asked for nothing- Bob offered to give a 200 wedding invitation credit....we said Bob we payed for those....he then offered a vacation deal and we said we do not need that either, we then said we need one more dress we will use the 200 credit toward that last dress he said okay.......So today my Fiancee happy to take her mom for the free dress and Bob says I never said that....if says something get it in writing...he will promise you anything to get in your pocket....he said I was offering the 8th tuxedo free- I said thats funny I never discussed getting tuxedos with you at all- so Bob you are a liar and you lied to both of us together I was with her when you promised that and you were the only place we visited- so there was no confusion about what someone else said that is a fact.....

Holy Hell. From the outside it looks like a closed down pub, but I went inside and gave it a shot. They told me to look around and grab some dresses, so me and my group did. The woman was SO RUDE. I was her last appointment of the day and I felt rushed :[ . She did not talk to us and was snobby. She then noticed we were interested in buying and she magically perked up. She did know what maggie sottero dresses I would look best in and I did find one that I am in love with. I am going to buy my dream dress at another place because I feel her bad attitude shouldnt get credit. Sorry little mean blonde woman. I also think the owner is trying to hard, it looks like her place is out of a hoarders show. Too much crap. Too many options. There is something wrong when you can get a dress, invites, 100 favors, 100 other things, clothing, photo, travel agent in a little place, oh and fresh flowers. too much

Yesterday was my return visit to order Bridesmaids dresses for my daughters April 2016 wedding. What a fabulous selection....I think every Bridesmaid dress company is represented and the customer service is terrific....I am in the retail business and expect nothing short of knowlegeable and attentive sales staff...and I found it at The Wedding Center....I was welcomed immediately upon my arrival and the sales woman remembered me and remembered who had helped the Bridal party on the initial visit.....the bridesmaids are all different shapes and sizes and the sales staff was instrumental in suggesting styles that would flatter each attendant....my kind of store....my kind of service.

The women working in the bridesmaid department are AMAZING!!! They spent so much time helping my sister (MOH) to find a dress that would look good on her since she is a plus size and most manufactures dont make dresses in her size. They were so helpful and it was so nice to know that even though it was a Saturday and they were busy, they still took so much time to help my sister. Being an out of state bride can be hectic but knowing that the ladies at The Wedding Center have everything under control makes everything so much easier! I also purchased my wedding dress from here and the woman who helped me find my dress was AWESOME!

Great experience as a bride but not so great when I was a bridesmaid. Get things in writing when dealing with Bob because since he deals with so many people he tends to forget things (discounts/deals) he promises unless its written. Everyone was nice and so accommodating during the hurricane Sandy period. I wish I remembered their names but a lady in bridal gowns whose name starts with a "R" and the guy who does flowers were very nice and helpful.
