What an amazing experience! this was the first time I was trying on wedding gowns and really didnt know what to expect. All I knew was that this boutique got great reviews and my future mother and sister in law said this would be the place to go. Well, they were right! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and genuine kindness. My mom, future mother and sister-in-law, and I had to place to ourselves. The way Plumed Serpent handles appointments and guests is remarkable. I read horror stories that some brides went through at other places and I cant relate at all. Hayley was my bridal consultant. Awesome, sweet, kind, honest, helpful, and a knack for making you feel completely at ease even though I was nervous and excited all at the same time...these are just some of the things I can say to describe her. All the dresses we selected were gorgeous and surprisingly well below my budget. Again, I really didnt expect to "say Yes to the Dress" but it happened! Hayley was so attentive and assisted with the customization of my train and veil. It was such a pleasant experience and to have someones undivided attention to make you feel so special while going through this process was truly wonderful and I cant thank her and the other consultant enough (I forgot your name, but you were awesome too). I highly recommend coming here for you bridal gown and accessory needs!

My daughter purchased the perfect wedding dress here, and to be honest, we were as sold on Katie as we were on the dress! Katie was absolutely incredible; she put us at ease right away and wasnt at all pushy. In fact, when Heather (my daughter) showed the slightest hesitation, Katie encouraged us to go grab lunch and think about it. Of course, we went back and bought a dress that seemed to be made with Heather in mind. Katie encouraged us to attend an upcoming trunk show, where we purchased several accessories. When the pieces came in after the time frame promised, Julie was wonderful about providing a full refund for one that Heather no longer intended to use. An experience that could have been full of anxiety was made easy by the ladies at The Plumed Serpent. I highly recommend making the visit. The dress and accessories that Heather will be wearing in a few months are simply stunning, and she is one happy bride-to-be!

OMG! I just left that fine establishment.....NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ordered my bridesmaid dresses in January and just got them today. Wedding in two weeks. They said they have been sitting there since June 23rd and emailed me once on June 23 to let me know. They never called me or any of my girls to tell us the dresses were in. Its August 31st!! I never got an email on June 23rd! When I picked up the dresses today, the owner, Allison, said they are too busy with brides to call people. Amazing right? So you expect everyone to pay in full before an order get placed but you or staff cant pick up a phone to say your dresses have finally arrived (they were delayed once already). Why do you take all our phone numbers then? I will never ever refer Plumed Serpent to anyone for any event. They have the typical snotty westport attitude and could care less because they have your money already.

Ive been in twice and Katie and the other saleswomen are so helpful, attentive, and nice. Katie put me in a lot of dresses that I loved and I ultimately picked one she put me in. Every time I have called they have been kind, courteous, and very helpful. Prices are expensive but they carry high end designers. Their sample sale was very reasonably priced. They go out of their way to make their brides feel special by featuring them on their instagram and everything. I would highly recommend this salon. As far as the poster below commenting she was kicked out for speaking another language, I would disregard this comment since she has posted the same thing on several other bridal salons pages (allure bridal in Darien as another)

I had a wonderful experience with this bridal shop! I had visited only two shops beforehand but by far this was the warmest and most inviting I had set foot into. Additionally, it had a really nice atmosphere where I felt like it was professional and I could trust them in helping me find my special dress but not too uptight. Everyone that I encountered was very kind and made me feel welcome.. on top of that they made me feel beautiful! The dresses are to die for and Amy was very good about keeping me inside budget. I did not feel rushed nor did I feel uncomfortable because I basically had the salon to myself. In the end, I bought my dress from here and would recommend the salon to anyone!

I went in thinking I wanted a prim little tea length dress, I left with a dress that perfectly suited my personality, dreams and who I really am...a glamorous gown that made my best friend cry the second I put it on. The salesladies have a way of knowing exactly what you want, even when you dont know exactly what it is. They are able to style the dress and full ensemble with the latest accessories that compliment the dress in an appealing way. I loved the whole experience and felt like a princess on my wedding day in my beautiful dress! I would definitely recommend this shop, their hand picked selection of dresses is perfect!

The Plumed Serpent is amazing! I was nervous to go try on dresses and the entire staff made it a wonderful experience. There was no pressure to leave the store with a dress...even though I ended up with the first one that I tried on. The staff went above and beyond: they made sure that the dress I chose could be rush ordered, they made sure I could order extra lace, and they even created a matching choker for me like I envisioned. Everyone was extremely helpful and supportive. Julie was absolutely amazing- that girl deserves a raise! I would highly recommend visiting this shop.

I was thrown out of the store when picking out dresses for my sisters wedding. When we were looking at expensive dresses the owner asked who was going to pay for them and told us to be realistic, as if we could not afford them. The main reason we were thrown out was because we were speaking Ukrainian in the store. He told us to leave because we were rude to speak another language. Let me remind you this the the USA, anyone can speak whatever they want. He is a prejudice pig, he refused us service because we were not American. Which is illegal. Absolutely atrocious experi nice.

I cant begin to say thank you (thank you, thank you) enough for making the experience one of the most memorable moments of my life (and my Moms). This beautiful salon not only has breathtakenly gorgeous couture wedding gowns but completes the experience with the highest level of customer service. I had a fantastic experience at TPS. Alison has a beautifully curated selection of dresses and she picked out things I didnt even know I wanted. She is also a really warm and enthusiastic person, which I greatly appreciated. She even gave my friends a recommendation of a great taco spot to go to after dress shopping. I love my dress and I cant wait to wear it next year.
