First and last time shopping at Flying Squirrel today. The store was overcrowded with stuff and understaffed, the proprietor giving 100% of her attention to fixing some consignment error and the only thing the other staffer did was keep putting the hat I was trying to buy back on the table I had gotten it from whenever I put it down to pick up my daughter or take my wallet out of my bag. I waited for what felt like a long time though both were aware I was ready to pay, and in the meantime, my toddler bumped her head on a sharp corner and knocked over a tray of crappy toys, both of which events would have been avoided if the customer service had been appropriate as we would have already been on our way by then. Screw you, Flying Squirrel.

Got a few things from them for a nice price tag. If you dont mind going by the size first instead of design and print, this is a place to go. Also, they host a few great music classes. And now I feel like I dont want to share this information anymore to avoid the store and classes getting overcrowded :)

Love this place it always has great stuff. At a great price. The owner is amazing and her staff as well. They know have music classes and other programs for kids in the same spot. Worth the drive ,walk ,train ride all to go see and visit . This awesome hidden gem of Brooklyn
