I dont ever write reviews, but I bought a book here and just realized, as I wrapped it, that Pink Olive was charging TWENTY PERCENT MORE than the printed price on the book. Plus Sales Tax, of course. And they avoid having to "admit" that putting their stores sticker on top of the manufacturers. We all know that we could probably buy things cheaper online, but even at the price-gouging airport they only charge the printed price on books and magazines! Plus they had poor customer service. So.... I warn you away.

They sell great gifts but have terrible customer service. Its a shame because its around the corner from me but I cant keep going there given how rude they are. Im a huge fan of supporting local but only when the store supports the people who live in the community. Without good service Ive been forced to find a similar gift shop further down 5th.

I love this shop and treat it as a go-to for quick birthday gifts for friends. (Although I usually leave with things in hand for myself, too!) Pretty stationary, calendars, phone cases, prints, and little knick knacks galore.

Why wouldnt a gift store have earlier opening hours during the holidays? Ive also tried to go later in the day in the past and theyve had a "back in 5 minutes" sign on the door. How can you run a business if youre never open?

This might be a childrens clothing store, but I pop in for their varied card selection - many locally focused. Its also a great spot to grab a gift for a baby shower.
