Worst returning experience ever and inexperienced associates in the store including the manager! I try to return an mattress my wife brought 3 weeks ago. I give the mattress, receipt and new credit card we received to the cashier. She scans the mattress and tells me that "I can give the store credit for $xxx". I say to her "No" and I would like to have the money credited to my credit card. I explain to her that I came here last week already to return it and the other cashier told me "she can have the money credited back to my credit account if I have actual card with me". Here I am today. I bring the new credit card we received and receipt. Your guys still cant credit back the money to my account instead of saying that "I will give you the store credit." Then another associate come over to help. I explain to them one more time what has happened last time I came here to return and what happened now. She takes a look at it and try to return it for me. After she is done scanning the bar code and try to credit back to my account. She stops and says to me that the last 4 digits are not the same comparing to your credit card. I say that thats only card we received in the mail and I didnt receive any other card beside this one. She cant do and she calls her manager over. I am thinking like why is it so difficult to credit back to my account. The manager take a look at it and say to me I can only give you store credit unless you show me the credit card you used on the receipt. I am like come on. That is temporary card! Where am I going to get that credit card for you? Then she insists that she cant credit it back to my credit account. I am standing there look at them. I am like "Are you serious? Last time I came one of your cashier said that I need to bring the credit card we received so that you could credit the money back to my account. You cant do it now!" I am just really disappointed and upset. I ask them where am I supposed to get credit card that has same number on the temporary card? They keep saying to me that since last 4 digits are different and they cant credit the money back to my account. They ask me to get temporary card again. I say to them "last time I was here with temporary card and receipt. Your guys couldnt be able to do it. Why do you want that this time? I feel like they dont really know what they are doing in the store instead of looking at me like you are idiot and stupid! I really dont want to argue them anymore. I drive 20 minutes to home and get the temporary card. Instead of going back immediately. I call the customer service number on my credit credit. I explain to the representative that I try to have the mattress returned and credited the money back to my account. They cant do it for me in the store. I ask the representative why my credit card we received number is different than the temporary card. She says that is very normal. It has been always like that and whoever works in the store should know about it. They should be able to return the item and credit back the money to my account since it is same account. I feel like I am a ball kicking back and forth. I gets really pissed off this time. I have been there 3 times including todays visit. I go back to the store and try to explain to the manager. I tell her what the representative tells me. She keeps ignoring me and asks me to stop talking. She says that I am yelling at her and curse her employee. I am like you need to be honest! She keeps saying to me "if you dont stop talking, I am going to refuse to help me." I am like as a manager you should know that temporary card number is always different the actual credit card number. You make me drive back for nothing and it shouldnt have happened. She doesnt even apologize or say sorry to me. She just keeps telling me to stop talking. I say the facts to everyone in front of her and I want to let everyone know how ignorant and unprofessional she is. Then I go to cashier again. They are able to return and credit back the money to my account without even looking at the temporary card!!!

Please note that I am registered at Babies "R" Us. Yesterday, while shopping for a few items in preparation for the arrival of our baby, the cashier offered their credit card and explained the benefits. She said that I would receive 15% off of my purchases today. I asked instead of continuing to shop in store, could I use the 15% off for an on-line order to complete my registry and she said that I could as long as it was done before the end of the day. When I got home, I attempted to purchase all the items on my registry on-line with the 15% off code to no avail. Today, I called the store and spoke with the Manager named Tracy. I explained what the associate that assisted me in opening the credit card account said and also that I attempted several times to use the code on-line. Her response was that that the code cannot be used on-line. I asked considering the fact that I was misinformed if she could extend the 15% off for another day. She said that no she could not extend it. It wasnt the fact that she said no, it was the fact that she was dismissive and rude. Not only am I registered at her store and shop at her store, I also opened a credit card account at her store with the intention of purchasing all the items on my registry. I opened that account under false pretense and she dismissed me instead of trying to assist me. She was rude and when I finally said to her that she wasnt listening to me, she raised her voice at me and attempted to turn the situation around on me saying that I was raising my voice and that she didnt have to talk to me. This was by far the worst customer service experience of my life. Ive never been treated with such disrespect, which compelled me for the first time to write a negative review. TRACY should not be representing Babies "R" Us or be in a management position if she cannot find a resolution for a mistake that her associate made, if her only solution is to dismiss a customer the way she dismissed me or manipulate a situation to make it seem that she was the one that was treated badly. I will report them to the State Attorney Generals office for misleading information on opening a credit card account!

I had my registry with Babies R Us as well as another baby store and I must say I liked this one more. Love the attention every time I came to this store. Given, there were a couple of employees who did go out of their way to really help you and others didnt. Yesterday I had a particular situation, I went in to buy the remainder items of my registry and I told the lady, her name was PAT at the register that I had my 10% discount. I saw her scan something, which I thought was the coupon. Then she went ahead and scanned all the items (I had 2 carts) bagged them. She was very sweet and friendly. I proceeded to pay with gift cards and cash. When I got to the car I looked at the receipt and the discounts and noticed the 10% wasnt applied. I went back in and was told that we needed to void the transaction and scan everything again. What a pain! Had to unload everything and bring it back to the store. Get all the gift cards back and the issue was that one $100 was missing. It was the end of PATs shift and she was so patient and nice. Instead of saying that she was done and leaving she stood there helping. Another lady was helping us too, EDDA. She called the customer service number to get them to give us a new gift card. When I say these ladies were amazing. They were! We were there for maybe almost an hour. I then went and got them a frappuccino cause the attention, patience and good humor about the whole situation was good. Not only should we talk about the bad but give credit when credit is due. Go back to the store and see these ladies. There were also other employees that helped me throughout my registry process, did not get names, but the lady that is on the registry desk on Sundays. She was really nice and sweet. There was a customer service rep, he is African American a bit heavy set and with dreads I believe. Sweetheart! He recommended a stroller and playpen and showed us how it worked. Never got his name. Great guy. Also, dealt with Omar briefly, very nice guy! Thank you everyone for making this experience a good one for my first baby!
