Well, the sales representative was very capable, knew the product and was able to answer all my questions.....but the delivery people today seemed pretty unreasonable! I purchased a fiberglass entrance door (my construction guy is coming 9/1 and 9/2 and I decided I wanted to install a new front door in addition to other work). As I could not do a "special order" I had to find a door that was in stock. Got to admit, I found a great door! Today, I was the "over-eighteen-year-old" home to receive the door. When the two men arrived to deliver the door, they told me it was a curb delivery only. As leaving the massive door at the curb was wholly not feasible, they "agreed" to place the door against the brick steps outside the open garage. Now whenever something is delivered, I always tip the delivery guys. ALWAYS. However, as these two were so adamant they would NOT carry the door the additional three feet into the garage, I knew I was keeping my two fives! As they climbed into their truck, upon seeing this sixty-nine-year-old "walking" the door toward the garage, they THEN offered to place it inside! By this time I was too angry to accept their "offer" and once on the epoxied garage floor, the cardboard outer shell literally glided across the floor. They were still seated in their truck when I closed the garage door. On my order form it merely reads "pro delivery". Im thinking now that maybe the "pro" is an abbreviation for problem. Again, the sales rep. at the store was excellent, but Home Depots delivery people were rather unreasonable....at least these two!

Dont ever buy an appliance here and expect it to be delivered on time or installed. On top of having to wait a month for a delivery appt, the first attempted delivery showed up over an hour late after the delivery window. No phone call, nothing. Supposedly the truckers phone was dead and they couldnt install the dishwasher cause our valve was broken. Phone was dead but ten minutes after they left, we get a call from the trucking office. Okay! So now we have to wait an additional two weeks for delivery & installation. Appt window yet again 3:30pm-7:30pm. No call, no show. After numerous phone calls of lie on top of lie, the dishwasher is being returned. If youre not handy, definitely dont buy an appliance from a store that uses a trucking/installation company that doesnt value their customers.

Wow! Came here (after going to their competitor) to purchase interior doors for a new house. Steve was just beyond a pleasure to work with. He was patient and knowledgeable and gave me ALL my options. Annette (the supervisor) was also just so happy to help. At this point I feel like I live here and there are other Home Depots closer to me but Ill drive extra just for these two jems. They both have customer service down to a brilliant science. Steve has made this experience such a pleasant one without making me feel like a burden. This is the Home Depot to go to. Especially for doors since they seem to work with more manufacturers then the others. Thanks again Steve and Annette. U guys rock!

I hardly ever write reviews but wanted to share my truly amazing experience with customer service at Home Depot Paramus! I left my wallet on a shopping cart in the parking lot (duh) and didnt realize till after the store had closed on Saturday. With low expectations, I went back first thing Monday morning. Customer service quickly verified that the wallet was mine and retrieved it from the vault. Not a thing was missing! A staff member had found it and then customer service ensured it was safely guarded until I came back. Everyone seemed truly happy to have helped and refused my offers to give a cash reward (which I was more than happy to do). Ive been converted into a loyal customer!

On Saturday 7/25 I brought a non working electrical connecting outlet to your store....having no idea what I was doing...I only knew it didnt work....fortunately for me...Michael your electrical specialist was just starting his shift.....not only did he explain to me how to fix my problem......but he took the time to show me how to do it.....and while I watched...he fixed it for me.........I have never encountered that level of customer service before....in any retail environment......I was sincerely impressed......and very appreciative.....Please let Michael know I said...hes my hero !!!

This store is what gives home depot customer service its bad reputation. no store associate offers help, you have to track someone down and ask. When you do you get attitude in return indicating a complete unwillingness to help customers or take any responsibility for products. Try to call? Forget that, long wait times then you get forwarded to a phone that no one will answer or a voice mail box that is full. Even on the phone no one will take any responsibility. This is not a one off experience, has happened to me several times.

I went to pick up something that was purchased online. I always avoid this store because of how poorly it is run. Once again I was disappointed. I received a confirmation email my items were ready but when I arrived they were out of stock. When I purchased items at the Mahwah store its always ready and waiting for me. May I suggest management spend some time at that store so they can see how its done.

Worst home depot Ive ever been! Came here a few times to get the simplest thing like a 1" plastic starp, they dont have it. Everything is so disorganized and confusing. For the plumbing section is terrible, never have anything in stock. Used/returned valves I bought and were damaged already. Layout for parking is bad too.

This is the worst home depot store Ive ever been to. Staff is not trained. I had to cancel a large order from this store and they did not refund my card for over 55 days. Management is clueless. I stopped visiting this store and decided to travel a couple of miles more to go to the one in the Palisades center.

One of the biggest Home Depot Ive ever been to. It has helpful staff and good navigation, I was able to find everything I need. Kids workshop is great to spend some time in creative activity with kids. Parking is big enough.

Tried to buy a ban saw with my card was not reading wanted to enter my card in manualy they said they could not do it even though any other place would so it in 5 minutes. I was there for 30 min and winded up walking out.

Worst Home Depot around. Terrible layout, unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Its a last resort for me. Id much rather go to Mahwah or Riverdale or Paterson or Lodi.
