I have been a loyal Sears client for 50 years. Last year I purchased a Kenmore Elite 700 Series top of the line barbecue. The barbecue hood was broken in a wind storm last week. So I call Sears to purchase a new hood. I was told that the barbecue was so new that they did not have parts yet for my barbecue, the rep was sorry but there wasnt anything that could be done.She said that I could call the manufacturer directly to see if they had the part. When I purchased the unit I asked the salesman why the cost was so high and I was told it was because this special unit was made by "WEBER" for Sears. I have now found out that the unit is not made by Weber but by a company called "Barbecue Pro". I was given the number to call directly. I called the number and the gentleman that answers tells me that there is no such company that makes barbecues for Sears , he has his own small company but has nothing to do with Sears and asked me to call them and to tell them to please stop giving his number to everyone. He told me that is just Sears way of running people around.So I was lied to about "who" makes the barbecue and I was given false information to call a non existent company when Sears had no parts. Sears has lost all integrity with me and this will be the last product that I purchase from Sears.

Even though this Sears Auto Center is near my house, I have been reluctant to go there because of the negative reviews. Recently, after giving many other places a try and didnt find it fully satisfied, I decided to give Sears a try. I was pleasantly surprised by their service and cost. Without going through the details, I did a thorough research on the web about the possible issue of my car and the cost. I didnt tell them what I knew. Sears nailed it with precise diagnosis and reasonable cost. Since then, Ive been there a couple of more times for my other cars, and got the same satisfaction. Others complain about waiting time. I dont like to wait either, but no matter where I went, none others were any faster. What my wife and I like most about Sears Auto Center in Paramus is that they are polite, down to earth, neat and clean, and very professional. Wait time depends on how busy they are. Im sorry if I sound like a paid review. I am not. After a few times of good results, I just feel they deserve my time to write this review, and I think those of you looking for a good mechanic might want to know my experience with them. HORRIBLE experience. I went there to purchase a gas range oven and was given the run around for over 3 hours. The sales associate that we dealt with could not give us accurate information, could not speak clear information, he could not get the proper assistance from the managers that were working in the department, therefore he could not assistance us effectively. In the end, our order was messed up to the maximum level - we are currently out $100 and Im not quite sure how they are able to fix this mistake. I cant get ANYONE on the phone at their store. Ive been calling since 10:00 a.m. - it is now going on 1:00 p.m. and Im still not able to get anyone on the phone. Im told to leave a message on their "machine" and the memory is full. Ive never dealt with any store that has had this many issues/problems like this. I will NEVER step foot in this store again - I will never purchase from Sears or K-Mart again. They have lost a very valued customer. Ive purchased MANY items from Sears and K-Mart - but NEVER again. I hope they return my $100 to me or I will be taking them to small claims court where I will ask for more money for time wasted on NON SENSE.

My first purchase with Sears (on-line). Went to Paramus store for on-vehicle pickup. The employee who brought out the item complained to me that he had to deliver out in the rain. The package was all torn apart and he denied he had anything to do with it. When I arrived home, I found that it was a wrong item, most likely returned by previous customer as it had her name and address written on the package. When I called Sears, they bounced me around until the Sears in Paramus asked me to return with the item for refund. The item was 40 pound dumbbell. To sum it up, Sears tried to sell me used item as new and a wrong item at that. Sears did not attempt any reconciliation except for issuing a refund for an item that I had to physically return back to the store. Worst experience I had with a major retail store.

TERRIBLE. This story basically stole over $180 from me when I tried to buy a grill. AFTER paying in the store, we were told that we cannot get our grill because they were already assembled. When we went to talk to the department manager, I had the worst experience I have ever encountered with a manager. All he did was tell us there was nothing we can do about it. After 2 hours of customer service, nothing was accomplished. It has been 10 days and we have not received any compensation whatsoever. This store and company is full of thieves, who have no care for customer care or support. Unbelievable.

Extremely slow customer service. Poor communication. When job was done I had to wait on the new customer line to pay my bill. The only way I knew the job was done was from following the mechanic bringing the paper work back to the front desk. All personnel where grumpy, like they didnt want to be there. Phones where ringing at the service desks and no one would pick up the phone. When one employee did pick up the phone, after constant ringing, he put them on hold and never got back to them. Ill never go back there again.

Dont Buy from Sears Outlet! They offer tons of things online that dont exist at the stores!! and here is the best part.. IF you purchase something, GOOD LUCK with the refund! Customer service cant help you and it can only be done at the store which no one would help either. Thanks to PAYPAL they are able to dispute this mess and get your money back. You have been advised!

Im going in tomorrow, to get my tires put on and thats all I want done. If they say I need anything else Ill take care of it!!! The reviews I saw where not to impressive!!!! I might just take the tires and get them installed somewhere else!! P.S. It should only take only take 2 to 3 hours the most to get it done. I dont want to be there all day!!!!

I tried to exchange a Christmas gift that I received from my Aunt and was told there is nothing they can do. I had the gift receipt. When I called up the national customer relations line the guy so sorry nothing they can do. I never shopped anywhere with this type of return policy and now know why I dont shop at Sears. My aunts money is wasted!!

This place has a really good variety of clothes, so you can usually find what you want to wear here. This place also gives some amazing discounts, especially during the holidays, so you can always check it out if you want to get something this for someone at a good price. Its also very quiet there.
