If I could give it 0 stars, I would. The customer service in this store is disgusting. My fiancee and I bought a tv for in-store pick up and when we got it home there was a giant dent in the middle of it. That was annoying but not terrible. We called the store and tried to negotiate a delivery because of the faulty product. We dont have a car and had to rely on someone to help us bring it back. So when they said we could pick up another one it didnt help much. We finally scheduled a delivery for Friday, which is today. I called to confirm, was given the 10-1 window and waited. Come 2, there is no tv or even a phone call pushing the window. I call the store, they says their systems are down. I asked why that would affect a TV that was ALREADY IN THE TRUCK. You could call the truck and see where they were. The gave me a number for distribution. I called and distribution says there was no order for delivery placed. They tell me to call the store back. I call the store and they give me another number to try, this time to their service department. I call service and they say there was no order for delivery but there was a note that I had demanded free delivery because of my inconvenience. Which was a lie, the manager of the store offered it when I explained the situation which is why I had thought everything was fine. The manager refused to get on the phone to talk to me at any point today. I called again to relay my frustrations as to why someone had lied to me this morning but I as put on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up on. Hopefully this review will provoke some sort of response from the manager who has yet to be held accountable. I have spent 5 hours in the middle of a Friday waiting for a tv that had not even been ordered. The only helpful representatives of the store were those at the service and distribution numbers. The store was of no help whatsoever and once I have the TV I will tell everyone I know not to visit this store.

OK. I am usually a bit skeptical when I go an appliance store and the level of customer service that I may need or get.. The skepticism was completely unwarranted at this PC Richards location. I had purchased a faulty window AC unit in the morning which I found out after I got it home and had it fully installed and then went to turn it on. Bugger. The fan was out of alignment and sounded like a lawn mower anytime you turned it on. I immediately I called Hank, my salesman, who had been super helpful during the sale just a few hours earlier. He helped me to understand my options, the range of products as well as helping me appreciate the value of the different products. With this information I was able to focus my needs and budget and make my decision. But now the darn unit was in the window, not working and sounding like a dying lawn mower. I was bracing myself for a big-ol-runaround... I got none of that. Within 3 minutes of the call with the problem, Hank came up with multiple options for solutions over the phone. And then he personally coordinated getting a complete replacement unit to me by the end of the day. The next morning, I was able to install the replacement unit, and it ran perfectly! Hank went above and beyond! This could have been a nightmare experience if it was handled differently. Instead, this was a classic example of good service equals happy and loyal customer. Hank rocked this. Freakin awesome! Thank you my friend!

I have been in this store three times and on every occasion the service was horrible. Yesterday I was greeted by a man who was eating a sandwich on the floor and spoke to me with food falling out of his mouth as he spoke and shoot at the same time. When I finally found what I was looking for I waited 15 minutes for someone to come over and assist me. I wanted to buy a television set and there was no one nearby to sell them. Once I finally flag down and employee and drag them over to the TVs to help me I had a few questions. His answers were condescending and frankly rude. He spoke to me as if I was ignorant and a tight wad as if to say you should know more about product and you should be spending more money. I really dont like this store. I asked about buying speakers for a television and was told unless youre willing to Shell out the money for Bose did we dont have anything for you. Looking at the prices it was clear I Can Do Better elsewhere and there was no reason to suffer the indignity of this poor service that is offered in this establishment. The only way they stay in business is because they are the only guys on the Block. If a little competition comes around with better service and slightly better prices they will be gone in an instant. Their sales staff is horrible and I have received better customer service at a self-service gas station then at PC Richards.

If youre looking for considerate, respectful, and professional service, this is not the place you want to be. I placed an order for a dishwasher with them. The salesman matched the price that Sears was providing, and then told me that I should expect the dishwasher in a week, two at most. Two weeks went by...and...nothing. I called the store, was treated pretty rudely, finally got through to the sales guy, and he let me know that it should be anytime now. Two more weeks passed, and multiple calls with responses from, "why are you calling?", to "tomorrow" to "I dont even see it in the system". The irony of this place plastering "the best in the industry" "reliable...." blah, blah, blah did not go unnoticed to me. Frankly, I dont know how these guys stay in business. I finally gave up and went 20 miles north of the city and picked mine up at Sears...which had it in stock. To be fair, the manager in the end did personally apologize when I came in to get my refund, but this place is still not worth the trouble. Go to a big-box store, where you will be treated the same way if not better. At least those guys have an inventory tracking system.

I’ve been shopping at PC Richard & Son for all my appliance/media needs for the past 15-20 years. This store has the best staff on hand that are willing to go above and beyond to make sure you get what you need. All the staff including the store manager Ramon are extremely knowledgeable on all the products they sell. If they don’t know the answer to a question they’ll even call the manufacturer to make sure you’re making a knowledgeable purchase. They also make sure you have all the necessary parts/accessories for the appliances you’re purchasing. I appreciate that they’re not out to push more expensive products, but to make sure you’re happy. So if you need anything from air conditioners, televisions, and appliances feel free to stop in and ask for Ramon. He’ll make sure you get what you need/want at reasonable/fair prices. I highly recommend this store, Ramon and the employees. A++++ in my book!

It was not a good experience. I went to the store to buy a washer and a dryer. The salesman sold me two units that he said were in stock and would be delivered in five days. The night before the proposed delivery I was told that the dryer was back-ordered and had been so for several weeks. Why did he not know that? I ended up buying over the phone a more expensive set which I had seen in the store. Was this a bait-and-switch? Probably not, but it wasnt comfortable. The salesman who helped me with the paper exchange rushed me through the transaction and was not forthcoming about all the extra charges. I have asked several times for a copy of the new invoice to be emailed to me, but the store seems incapable of doing this. I need these units and was reluctant to start the process over with another supplier - who, by the way, isnt fabulous either. As I said, not a happy experience.
