Reasons I say that I hated the experience with Shore Toyota sales is as follows; Very high pressure. Very confusing numbers and calculations from sales manager. i.e.; When presented with the price of the car and the way it was presented it is done to confuse. I believe that it is on purpose to confuse you, so you lose control of the deal. Numbers were scribbled on a work sheet and nothing was typed out. Very unprofessional. Took forever to get delivery of the car. Appearance package added to each car that is purchased price is close to $1000 and it costs them no more than $50 including labor. Appearance package is pin striping and plastic guards on the doors for when you open the door in parking lot. You DO NOT have to purchase that. Was told you have to purchase because it is already on the car, BULLCRAP!! I was helping my mom buy the car and she was so frustrated that she took a lousy deal just to get it over with. I want to make a big deal out of it but she will not let me because she doesnt want to get her blood pressure up. She had the car a week and had to get rid of it because she has rotator cuff issues and the gear shift lever was hurting her every time she put the car in and out of gear. She did go to Shore toyota for assistance to help her not hurt. They did nothing to help her with this problem. She decided she could not keep the car, so she went back to toyota to trade in for a car that is not so painful. They wanted to give her far less than she paid for it. $6,000 less. Short version of the end of this situation she took the car which was a week old and she traded it in for a Kia and they gave her a better price than shore was offering. Too bad Shores sales department sucks so bad, I only hear good things about the service dept. But im sure they could give 2 craps about that because they are still selling cars. Remember people that they need to sell cars more than you need to buy them and that they have everything set up there so you lose sight of that, including the loud music in the show room.

I DO BEG YOU TO LISTEN TO THIS ONE. IN 7/11 I SCRAPED TOGETHER 7000 FOR A DOWN PAYMENT ON A 2007 TONDRA. THEY QUICKLY ADDED ABOUT 6000 WORTH OF WARRENTES THAT I NEVER ASKED FOR. ONE WARR WAS 3 OILCHANGES AND TIRE REVERSE FOR 1350. DOLLARS. I NEVER BUY WARRENTEES BUT RON (SALES MANG) TOLD ME WITHOUT THE 3 WARRENTEES THERE WAS NO APROVAL. THE 7000 I SCRAPED TOGETHER AND WANTED IT TO GO FOR A REDUCTION IN PAYMENTS. WELL I BELIEVED HIS WORD. A FEW MONTHS LATTER I HEARD WHAT HE TOLD ME WAS NOT TRUE ,SO I IMEDIATLY CANCELLED ALL THE 3 WARR, AND I WAS 1600 PLUS INTEREST SHORT AS IT WENT FOR EARNED PREMIUM. WELL IVE BEEN AFTER THEM SINCE ,AND SENT 25 E-MAILS AND THEY NEVER ANSWERED ANY OF THEM ,EVEN AS I COPYED THE TWO OWNERS THAT ARE THERE EVERY DAY. THEN I WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP TO MAKE A DEAL TO GET SOME OF MY MONEY BACK. THE MANAGER CAME UP TO ME AND SAID HE COULD NOT DUE BUSS WITH ME. SO IM POSTING THIS TO WARN YOU THAT THEY CANNOT MAKE YOU TAKE ANY WARRENTEES EVEN IF A OIL CHANGE IS 400 DOLLARS EACH. I CAN PROVE MY WORD IS TRUE AT ANY TIME ... CALL ME AT 965-6546 FOR A TRUE DISCLOSIER. MY ADVISE WOULD BE GO TO VINELAND TOYOTA , AS THEY SEAM TO CARE MORE. THEY ARE WORTH THE RIDE, BETTER DEALS , IF THEY KNOW YOUR NOT DOING BUSS AT SHORE TOYOTA. IM NOT BITTER,IVE JUST BEEN ROBED OF 1600 PLUS INT,IN TRUSTING SHORE. THEY HAVE NEVER ANSWERED ANY ACUSATIONS IVE MADE AT THEM.THEN THERE WAS THE DRY ROTTED TIRES ON THE TRUCK THEY SOLD ME.THEY REFUSED TO CHANGE THEM. WHY WOULD ANY BUSSNESS DO ALL THIS, I GUESS THEY DONT CARE ABOUT REPEAT COSTOMERS. ALL THESE FACTS ARE TRUE AND SHOW A BAD IMAGE TO THEM.5/13/13 NOW TO HID THIER REVIEWS ON THIER WEB PAGE THEY CHANGED TO BING FOR YOU NOT TO SEE MY REVIEW. THEY THINK THAT COVERING THIER SIN WILL GET THEM TROUGH. THEY WILL LOSE IN THE END AS IM FILING A LAW SUIT TO RECOVER MY LOSE OF 1600 PLUS INT. IVE GIVEN THEM 22 MONTHS TO ANSWER AND THEY NEVER ANSWERED ME . THEY IGNOR MY PLEAS. GOOD THING IM NOT DROWNING.

Make sure everything is in writing before you sign! Overall experience was horrible. The salesmen did the typical love fest during the test drive. As soon as the contract is signed all the stuff you verbally agreed on goes out the door. During the test drive the car was on empty, I then ask the salesmen if we purchase this car I expect gas in the tank. Aboslutley no problem, I will make sure we fill it up was his exact reply. After the deal is done and the keys are in my hands he tries to tell me the gas card isnt working. I call him on his BS and then he tells me the manager said we are not putting gas in the car because we gave you 2 free oil changes. 1. I never asked for free oil changes 2. The oil change coupons arent free, they are a max of $20 off oil a change. We all know an oil change cost more than $20. The money doesnt mean anything to me its the dishonesty of the whole thing. The car had 3 miles left until completely empty. When you spend 40k on a brand new car it should come with enough gas to get you home at least. All in all they saved $30 on a tank of gas but if I can just get one person not to buy a car there Ill come out on top. What they failed to realize is that being a Military member and working on a huge base is that word spreads quick. So congrats on your savings of $30 shore toyota. Good job.Keep in mind this is one a few things they failed at during my car purchase but I would like to stop wasting my time with anything to do with Shore toyota. Dont buy here, there are plenty of better options.

Liars, bad customer service, and no variety! Some of the managers and salespeople are very nice and professional, but they hired some people who are terrible salespeople and will do anything they can to get you in a car.. even if you hate it or couldnt afford it. I had my mind set on a car that I really liked before I walked in, but chose to check them out to see what they had. I told the salesperson about my situation and he told me that the car had the worst cusumer report reviews and that they were terrible cars. THIS WAS NOT TRUE. I went home and looked online for reviews by owners of the cars and my consumer report magazine.. which all said that the car was phenomenal! Then I told him at least 10 - 15 times that I did not want to finance, but he continued to argue with me to try to get a more expensive car. I gave him a VERY valid reason why I didnt want to finance but he continued to try to get me to finance. He then picks out a car that I absolutely hated and still, after telling him 10 times I didnt want to finance, he brings a car out that I actually liked and told me that it was in my price range. When the manager came over to give prices, it was $8,000 over my price range and they tried to get me to finance again! Never again will I go back!!
