Its a great big store stocked with lots of attractive furniture...my family went in looking for a new reclining living room set (sofa, loveseat, recliner.) The set I had chosen from the website turned out to have the wrong size loveseat, so our assistant helped us wander around the entire area searching for and debating over the ideal choice. He was very friendly, patient, and devoted to finding exactly what we needed. Ultimately, we settled on something that wed not considered before, which allowed us to make an interesting rearrangement in the room. The process of purchasing the items and working out a date and time for delivery was fairly simple, and both employees who helped us out were extremely polite and genial. There were very few other customers in the store, so it was nice and quiet, and we had pretty much their undivided attention. The men who came to bring the furniture into the house did a great job, too--right on time, didnt hit any walls, put it right where we asked. Likewise, when Id called to ask the price of the set Id picked online, I got a very friendly man who quickly and efficiently gave me the info. It would be helpful if all Ashley stores in an area had the same prices so you didnt have to call two or more, but that wasnt too bad. Also, Id recommend more unusual colors being available; the furniture is all quite nice, but I saw nothing but typical neutral, monochromatic colors. Nothing wrong with these, but I was hoping to find some nice teals, blues, greens, etc. Our new set is tan, which is just fine, and it has some other features that make it unique among rec room furniture.

We ordered 2 bed frames in the store, they gave delivery date on Jan 11th, I received email and phone call a week before the delivery confirming that my order will be delivered on Jan 11th between 3 and 7pm. So I took off for work on that day and stayed at home to receive the furniture, also I was able to track the order online. Suddenly I received an email at 4pm on Jan 11th saying that my furniture has been delivered and asking for the feed back on the delivery experience, i really shocked by seeing that email how can i get this email before even i receive my furniture. when i check the order status online, it says its delivered. I called the customer service immediately, they said that the item is out of stock and it will be get ready by February, she did not answer my questions, she said she doesnt have delivery date, no response from them until I reach them..Worst experience we ever had with ashley furniture. No help from customer service for the refund and asked us to stop by at the store to cancel the order. This looks like a game they are playing with customers to hold our money. I dont recommend this story, I will not visit again. You all and your Family a very happy and prosperous New year 2017.

Not because its cheap mean its good.Went to Ashley furniture stores in linden new jersey on August 2010 I bought a six peace recliner leather set 4 around 1800 dollars. 11 months later the coach started striping off the leather peace by peace try to call them up just keep getting the operator which keep telling me to leave a message. No 1 returned my phone call so I went to the store and told the associate what happened to my couch one of the employee in the office toll me to take pictures of the recliners and email them to Ashley. I ask why cant the company send some one over to look at the furniture they toll me to email the pictures first I did never got a reply from the store so I went there again, Really mad so they send a guy over to look at the set. He toll me that it would take three to four hours to repair but he as to harder the parts to do it and that this could take two to three weeks he did harder the parts. when it got there I call the linden store to let them know I got it no one pick up so I leave a message when the call was return the guy from the store toll me that I have to pay $85 a hour for the repair because one year had pass. Wish I had not went there

5.0 star rating 12/1/2016 To say that my husband and I had an amazing experience at Ashley Home Store would be an understatement. We were having a horrible day with furniture stores telling us we would have no luck getting furniture in to our new home by Christmas (we are hosting!) We were almost ready to give up but then a guardian angel, Calvin (our sales specialist) walked in to our lives. He approached us without being pushy and gave us a few words of advice. His advice was so great, we decided to have him help furnish our entire home! His expertise (20+ yrs. in the biz) is something that I know we would never find anywhere else. Being first time home buyers, we needed a lot of direction and he was AMAZING! And the amazing-ness did not end there. Through the buying process and shipping he kept in contact and made sure we would have everything in time for the holidays. This is how you know he was totally genuine and not just in it for the commission. I recommend anyone to this store and especially to see our Calvin! He proved true, things happen for a reason and it there was a reason for us to meet him!

The sales representative was very helpful and we purchased a dining table set that we are in love with. After leaving the store, I did some research online and it turns out the table on their website is $100 cheaper and the delivery fee was also $50 cheaper. So basically, I overpaid $150 for the entire product for no reason. Wish the store couldve been more honest to their customers! Update on 8/1/17: So the sales representative Jasmine saw the review and reached out to me. Not only did she explain why there was a price difference but she also honor it. She adjusted the price immediately and emailed the new receipt. The furniture was delivered as scheduled and the price exactlly what they honored and I wasnt charged a penny more. I am extremely pleased with her customer service and the great length she went. If anyone is looking for any furniture, please go see Jasmine at this location. She was excellent and by far the best sales representative with the best customer service skills Ive ever dealt with.

Place is a joke. Went last week and found a bedroom set and living room set we liked. Were told specifically to wait because the next week they were having a 60% off everything sale. Salesman even followed us around with a calculator to show us what we would save. Guess what.. We went back for the 60% off sale and told there was no such thing. We were told the sale was 50% off. Then when we looked at some of the items we had picked out the prior week we noticed the prices were almost doubled from only a few days before, clearly to make up for the 50% off sale. The explanation we were given is that those sets were part of a "special buy" for those days, and they were already marked at special low pricing. Yet the Salesman made no mention of that as he priced everything out a few days before. Good thing we took photos of all of the furniture we liked along with the pricing before it was mysteriously doubled. Looks like a complaint to the State and Consumer Affairs is in order.
