First of all I want to say that planning and paying for a new kitchen is a big deal, especially if you are on a budget. The problem is you need to know exactly what you want when they do a design for you because you only get one chance, which I found out the hard way. I came with my kitchen measurements and in 15min I had a design. the problem is I didnt ask any questions and when I came in the second time I wanted to sit down with the designer make a couple changes and ask important questions, i was told that unless i put a deposit down for the kitchen i couldnt get any more info. the woman who originally helped me seemed like she would have given me a second chance but she kept looking over at someone for approval that she did not get. so i was out of luck. when i got home i called and talked to the owner/manager but he could care less. i was so upset i hung up on him. we had a business in mass. and we never treated our potential customers like we were treated. The cabinets were very nice and i would recommend anyone if they want to purchase cabinets make sure you ask lots of questions and know exactly what you want. a kitchen is a big investment and for some people you only get to have one new kitchen. I could have been a happy customer but i did not get the opportunity.

I went to Home Depot & even to an online cabinet place to get prices for new kitchen cabinets. A friend recommend Home Surplus after I told her how ridiculously high my quotes were. She got her kitchen cabinets from Home Surplus 11 years ago & they still look great! I went the next day. The people who work there were very accommodating & extremely nice! I gave them my measurements & layout & they gave me my quote. They saved me over $10,000 for the exact style cabinets I wanted! I would recommend Home Surplus to everyone looking for cabinets!!

The sales team, especially Roman, were very knowledgeable about every product, worked with us step by step to ensure we had everything we needed, and were very patient as we made the dozens of selections. Overall good selection but not as helpful. Michael at Keyport was very helpful but others not so much. We bought the iron/fiberglass door and trying and it rattles. They said bring back the slab to replace. I dont have time and car big enough to drive over 1 hour. They should no sell doors that rattle in the first place. They should give a credit for defects or have someone come and replace it. What it new door does not perfectly fit the old hinges? I have to return it again? Wish they had better customer service.

This place is a real find. The front-of-the-house team, Ron and Sarah, are incredibly knowledgeable. If you are shopping kitchen cabinets, you know how the big box and the specialty shops like Kitchen Expo will bait and switch and change prices arbitrarily; not at Home Surplus. They work at a lower margin and can deliver your product quicker. If you want boutique attention and hand-holding, go full retail. If you know what you want and want the right price and professional service, go to Home Surplus.

Waste of time and money. You can not see your kitchen plan unless you pay a deposit which is not returned if you dont use their company. How can you know if youll use their company before you see their plan??
