Have been having my 2011 Nissan Pathfinder maintained at Salit Auto since I purchased the car. Would never think of going anywhere else. They are one of the most honest dealerships/repair shops Ive come across. When I needed new tires, it was between Michelin and a lesser known brand. Mike, from the repair shop told me the Michelin were not worth the money and the lesser known brand was as good. Ive come into the shop from work around 3:30 and they fit me in for an oil change. So not only are they honest, their customer service is top notch!

My wifes car needed new brakes and I was looking for somewhere local. Salit was recommended to me so I brought the car in to get fixed. They quoted me a very fair price and told me the car would be done the next day. That night my truck had issues so I had it towed there the next day and I picked up my wifes car. They fixed both of our cars quickly, they were very reasonably priced and the guys there were great to deal with. Thank you Salit! We wont go anywhere else.

I have now purchased 4 cars from them. Each time, they took the time, didnt try to upsell me, and were completely transparent in the entire process. All four cars have been solid, with no major problems. While looking for this car, I noticed that most websites are really hard to navigate. Their site isnt amazing, but it is very clear, concise, and gets the job done. You have a good deal of pictures, and descriptions.

Reliable and honest are not what you call most car dealers, but after using Salit for 7 years, these definitely apply here. Had my fender destroyed in accident, every place in town wanted $2200-$3700. Salit did it for $1100 and it looks brand new. They even gave me a ride back to my house after I dropped off the car, and then they dropped off the car when it was fixed. I recommend them without any reservations.

Salit has been amazing. Got my first and second car there. When my first car was getting ready to be replaced, they actually reached out to me. When I mentioned a specific car I was looking for, Jerry sought it out for me. My mother has used Salit as well. Despire living in the Bronx, it was worth the trip to Edison to get a car from a dealer she trusted. Amazing customer service, friendly, and just classy.

We contacted Salit Repair via Facebook very late on Sunday evening for an appointment for a new battery. We received a response just a few minutes later with an appointment time. We came the next day and our car was fixed (we asked for an oil change too) very quickly and for an extremely reasonable price. Nice people to deal with but I got sold a pile of junk. Purchased a truck from them (they normally dont sell trucks) and within 2 weeks found out it needed a high pressure fuel pump (this was a diesel truck), cost for replacement was 11K. Walk away from these guys, they are nice to deal with but not honest. They claimed they had no idea. I assume they had the code reset before I purchased it.

I have been going to Salit Auto for years. They never steer me in the wrong direction. I was told by other mechanics I need work ASAP and bring it to these guys and they tell me its not necessary. I wont go anyplace else to buy a car or get my car serviced.
