Very disappointed. Let me start out by saying I usually shop at Lowes, but since I couldnt find the product I was looking for on their website, I went with the next closest hardware store chain. I wanted to pick up a special sheet of plastic, and thought it would be easy since I researched online and found the price, and even aisle it would be on. When I got to the store, the first employee who I asked didnt understand what I was looking for, even though I had the printout with store code for the item. He looked it up and pointed towards the opposite side of the store. Not sure if he was just trying to get rid of me or was actually sending me in the right direction, I asked for a second opinion. I wish I hadnt. I explained to the second employee in the Carpets section what I needed and he replied "What is it?" in a quizzical tone. I thought he may not have heard me so I repeated myself more clearly. He said in a more demeaning tone "What is it?". I then explained its a type of plastic material. He then told me that they dont have it. I pulled out my phone and loaded up the Home Depot showing him the product number. He then pointed me towards lumber... ugh. After the third and final attempt I was asked by employee, told him my situation, and he kindly showed me exactly where the product was. Only after 3 employees I finally found what I was looking for. Ill stick with Lowes.

My experience with the Home Depot was so bad, I will never buy anything from them again. I ordered a bathroom vanity on line. When it arrived it was damaged. The whole vanity top was cracked. They could not replace it for 6 weeks, so I requested a refund. They never came to pick it up. It sat in my driveway for a month. I called customer service four times and each time they assured me it would be returned but to no avail. Finally, I insisted that the Rio Grande store pick it up and they did, BUT i never received a refund. This has been since May and still no refund. Please save yourself a lot of grief and order from Lowes instead.

Best carpet experience; hands down! Mary Ann in the flooring department went over and above the call of duty. When our carpet wasnt going to be available to satisfy their 3 day installation guarantee I went wild.....I was so upset since its a rental property and we had destroyed the carpet due to construction. Mary Ann helped me cope, she assured me that shed have a temporary installation scheduled with a similar carpet (even giving me a choice of colors!); she made good by having a carpet installed in time for our first guests! Then, when my carpet came in, she rescheduled the install. Thank you Mary Ann!!!

Wish i could rate less than 1.... 1 hour of complete idiocracy...just to tell me i have to go to a store 2 hours away to return something i ordered online..... This was after I called the store directly to make sure they could help.... So much for calling ahead....and the sad part is....the store manager was involved to reassure me that everything was going.to work out. The store manager and the returns person both left during this process...and left it to another returns.person.... COMPLETE LACK OF LEADERSHIP!!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THE CAPE MAY NJ STORE!!!

I CAN NOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME UNDERSTAND HOW THIS STORE MAKES ANY MONEY I BUY 36 INCH GRADE STAKES FOR MY SIGNS WHEN THEY HAVE THEM (WITCH IS NEVER) I HAVE TO ASK FRONT DESK , THEY DONT KNOW,,TALKED TO TOM A MANAGER IN GARDEN DEPT HE DONT KNOW CAN NOT GET ANYONE TO ORDER A PALLET OF THESE AS I BUY 100 AT A TIME I GO TO VINELAND HOME DEPOT THEY GOT A LARGE PILE THERE SO WHAT ARE THEY DOING THAT RIO GRANDE CANNOT DO????????HIRE SOME ONE THAT CAN REPLACE THINGS WHEN THEY START TO RUN IN INVENTORY THIS IS NOT SHANNON I AM USING HER COMPUTER

Their wood is not the best, sometimes it takes us hours to find wood that is good and not bent or cracked. The paint service is amazing! I always get my room paint there and the people are who mix the paint are super nice and helpful! I will always go here for paint and other needs.

Not enough help in the store and if you have somebody thats not in the same Department youre in needing the help they just say no I dont work in this apartment and walk on thanks always used to be good store I like the store but not enough help

The department representative in outdoor equipment was extremely knowledgeable and helpful while I was choosing a power washer. He moved the item to the garden center cashier and then took it to my vehicle. Very nice experience.

Got to the store near closing. All I needed was a paper towel holder ( something Depot has a very limited selection of) Jada was great she found one of the two they had in stock and I was off and running.

Box store, very utilitarian and filled with everything youtube trained experts need for home projects a professional can be paid to fix later. Online order pick up very cost effective.
