Worst place to buy anything I buy a gas range for my mom she travel to Florida because of the health problems my mom come back to New Jersey and ask me for the gas range I just go to the store and ask for my gas range and the answer was manager is busy come back another time the manager assistant was very nasty at soon I mentioned the word lawyer they become more aggressive and thus ask me to leave the store without any real reason and when I ask for bussines card or the store telephone they dont provied it my lawyer call the store asking to talk to the manager and the same nasty women talk to him very bad tell him to call another time and just cut the call Sears please training this people for costumer service now a have to sued seats and Sears a outlet for sometime that can be resolved with a simple conversation as bussines owner I never tread one of my costumers this way I fell sorry for Sears company to have people who treat Hispanic like this the woman also suggest that I maybe I just pick it and I want to pick it again again give the job to any person but at least training this people in costumer service never in my life come back to this is store or any of my friends family or my costumers stay away and if you speak Spanish is going to be worst please stay away

Horrible customer service. I bought a refrigerator from the outlet and it was suppose to be delivered between the hour of 2pm and 4pm on a working day (took day off) and surprise came someone called me and said they are running bit behind and delivery guys will be in between 4pm and 6pm. No one showed up until 8:30 pm so I called the outlet and spoke with a guy and he said because of the traffic from NY they are running behind. Helloooo...what kind of traffic is it to take them to get from NY to Fair Lawn and the guy was ridiculously rude when I asked him to reschedule the delivery, he said I have to be home when the guys comes over, that is after 9pm and I have to deny the delivery and then go to the outlet store and reschedule the delivery. Ridiculous!!! And I wasted a personal day off for nothing and guy said he couldnt do anything about it. I then called the delivery company and reschedule the delivery. I really wish I went to Lowes or Homedepot to get my fridge, they would have handled such situation with a good compensation to make their customer happy and make customer to come back to the store again. I am not going to the outlet store again. and purely not recommending it to anyone.

I purchased a refridgerator online two weeks ago. They set up a delivery for last week, the day before the scheduled delivery they called to say they do not come to my area on the scheduled day, they made a mistake. So now they were going to have a currier pick it up and I would get a call in two days. I never hear from them so I contacted them and again was told I would get a call sometime this week with the delivery info. I again never heard from anyone. So I called the store today, I was told tomorrow is the delivery day, thats the day they come to my area, and that I should get a call tonight. I never got a call. I called the store with 30 minutes left before it closed, sat on hold for 15 minutes, then was disconnected, and then they didnt answer when I tried to call back. I then spent over 45 minutes on hold with the online customer service who ultimately confirmed what I thought which is that the delivery is not set for tomorrow. This experience has been frustrating and extremely disappointing.

This store was just terrible. I needed to replace my dryer quickly so I google searched stores in my area and their website came up. the prices advertised online appeared descent so i went. There were very few customers and barely any workers-none of the employees had anything on signifying that they worked there so we searched for help for half an hour only to find out that the girl who walked passed us 20 times and ignored us actually worked there. None of the 2 people we could identify as employees were friendly - if it wasnt an emergency I would have left that store and almost did. We ended up buying a dryer which I personally thought should have been cheaper we didnt benefit from the sale bc the deductions we got added right back on as delivery charges. I will say that they did deliver and install the item and I was satisfied w that process. Overall I would not return to this store and wouldnt recommend it.

Bought a washer from them. When we hooked it up it was leaking. Called the store and spoke to one of the managers about the issue, she right away directed me to call Sears Serwis Department. To make it short, I made a lot of phone calls, ordered parts, had a technician come in... and nobody could help me because the part that we needed was not in their system and it could not be ordered... I figured that the store should be able to help me somehow because thats where I got it. The manager that Ive spoken to was rude and disrespectful, she even accused us of making the damage to the part when we were transporting the washer. I understand that this is an outlet store, but its not like I was getting that washer for half off! I just encountered with two individuals so I cant say that all the employees provide a terrible experience, but I just know that I wont be going back to that store.

I dont know how to express my gratittude for Jay , the store manager at the Sears Outlet Center in West Orange, NJ. He saved my familys Passover Holiday. He worked so hard to insure that our new 40" dual gas/electric range Frigidaire Stove was delivered and installed in time to cook and welcome many guests, within four days. We did not know, initially, that we lacked a proper gas valve shut off at our house. He explained everything and when things went wrong with planning installation, he gave me his cell phone number on his day off and promised to work with us until it was right. Coordinating with the work that our electrician and plumber needed to do, the stove was delivered and installed in time for us to create a beautiful holiday. I had actually cried, then prayed and Jay was the answer to those prayers. He saved our ability to have a beautiful holiday .

I was in the area shopping and decided to go into the store. I was just looking and didnt plan on buying anything. I was met by a pleasant young lady named Charis, she asked if I needed help and I told her I was just looking. After looking around for awhile she came and struck up a casual conversation with me, normally I get annoyed at that but she wasnt trying to push a sale on me, just talking. Well lets just say I ended up with a purchase anyway all because of her friendly approach. I hope Sears knows the valuable asset that they have in Charis, because of her I will be back if I have any other appliance needs and I am definitely telling my friends about her.
