Just had my new refrigerator delivered and Colonials delivery guys were removing my old unit when they tried to ram it through my front door before they realized they had to remove the door to get it out. They left behind two dents in my front door. This is after my wife told them they needed to remove the door first but they tried it anyway. In addition to my dented door they were dropping the F bomb and other profanities in front of my wife and daughters. When I called the owner at Colonial he said he spoke to his guys and they didnt do it and said my wife is lying. I understand accidents happen, but to not stand behind the service you provide is not acceptable. And to be called a liar was the last straw. Thats what prompted me to leave this review. I have purchased every one of my appliances at Colonial for the past 15 years and have recommended many friends. Needless to say, I will never shop at Colonial TV and Appliance again.

Called about a moderately priced dishwasher that is highly rated in Consumers Report. The person who answered the phone was very nice, but when I gave him the model of the dishwasher I wanted to check on, he said that it was the lowest in the line of dishwashers produced by a certain manufacturer and he couldnt recommend it. He wasnt moved by the fact that it was highly rated, though he did offer to get a price for me. I decided to check elsewhere where there would be a little more enthusiasm for the model I was asking about.

Bought a dryer from them. It arrived and didnt work on day 1; they told me we had to deal with LG directly to get it fixed since if they couldnt find anything wrong theyd charge us for a service call. LG finally decided to replace the machine, authorized colonial to replace it. Colonial demanded we pay more money since I bought it on sale - and the sale is now over. Youre better off going with a big-box store and not feeling bad if this mom and pop store goes out of business.

I got a television from colonial and the one delivery guy brandon (I think that was his name) was very courtious and polite. He really knew about the product and how to install it he went the extra mile for me and he didnt have to!
