Ive grown up with Sears and still like it, especially for the tool department. In recent years it feels understaffed and given their prices, this is where they are saving money (Its not Macys). I recently ordered some items and requested "ship to store". One of my items arrived on a Monday but I was not able to pick them up till Wednesday evening because they werent "received". The other items arrived Wednesday morning and as of this writing (Friday) I still cannot pick them up. Two plus days to receive an item is really poor service, it is much faster to ship to home.

Awful service both from the store and Sears customer service. No surprise theyre anticipated to be going out of business. Do not do in store pickup here. First day I went to pick up items they didnt know where it was and were clueless and unorganized. Never called me back either to tell me when they found it and when I went again they only gave me one piece of a three piece set. I gave up after 2 weeks. I wont be going to Sears again.

For some items they are top quality - tools, especially; tires and batteries; Lands End clothes; and Consumer Reports is generally high on their Kenmore appliances. Otherwise the store is pretty out of date, rather rambling and uncoordinated. But its often useful to have such a wide array of product categories in one place.

I called to check on the status of my on-line order for pick up. The person who answered the call told me, "I am in a rush". When I said that I was a customer (meaning that I deserved his attention). He said "hold on" and then he hung up on me! When I tried to call again multiple times, no one picked up the phone!

Not sure if all sears auto service are this bad. They say they "visually inspect ", but they dont inspect anything, As soon as I got home I checked the fluids and power steering fluid seemed very low to me. the battery was also leaking. How can I be sure of the quality of the oil change?
