WORST RETAIL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Stay away from ALL Sears Outlet stores and their website. This review is about their online ability as well as two specific locations (Norristown and Deptford) which are not showing on Google Maps at this point in time. On the Saturday before memorial day I ordered a refrigerator online. My credit card is charged but I did not receive a confirmation email. Not a big issue as I understood that that would not come until someone could physically verify stock in store. No problem, though a bit concerning that they would charge my card without knowing the item was in stock. Sunday comes, no confirmation. Monday comes, no confirmation. I go through the various online and phone customer support options, finally to be told to call the store directly (Norristown store). My wife calls and is told someone will call her back in a few hours. Five hours later, no call back. I call the store and am told to call the customer service line. I explain I already did that and she says she will check on it and have someone call me back shortly. Two hours later, I receive a call back from a VERY rude woman claiming that they cant find it, so they must not have it. I asked (and double clarified) that she cancel my order. She said, rudely, that she would. Looking online we found what we wanted at another Sears Outlet store(Deptford location) and called. We checked to see if they had it in stock, and if they delivered to our house. They said yes to both. Once we got to the location it was clear that the online description was inaccurate. Online, it stated a single scratch on the side. In person, it appeared to have been dropped from a three story building. The unit was clearly warped and heavily damaged. No big deal, we picked another out. As we are checking out they state that they cannot deliver to our house as their delivery range was 25 miles, not 50 as we had been told on the phone. They told us to go over to the Franklin Mills store as they would be open for a few more hours. We get there 20 minutes later and they had clearly been closed for hours. By Wednesday the original order still had not been cancelled so I contacted their "Social Media Customer Service." They attempted to assist and offered me a discount for my trouble. Unfortunately, to get the discount I would have to wait for a refund after purchase. Since I was already waiting for a refund from them for four days, I did not trust them. On Friday, the charge had been removed from my card, so on Saturday we went to another appliance store. We found what we wanted at an awesome price and went to pay. As the salesman was starting the paperwork I check the balance on my preferred card. Sears had charged it once again. I will never do business with ANY Sears retailer (including K-Mart and Lands End) again. Their incompetence knows no bounds.

Purchased an elliptical from Sears and had the WORST experiences! First, I paid upfront for delivery, who ended up not showing up. Then had to call for a re-delivery. Again, no show. Promised a $50 gift card (which i never got). Call AGAIN for a re-delivery and was told that I did not live in their area, so they could only deliver it in the middle of the day, so my wife had to stay home from work. OK, fine. My wife stays home for them only to show up after 7pm!! They drop it off, leave, only for me to find out that somehow between my purchase and them dropping it off, they bent guiding arm! So it doesnt even work! Called the Sears Outlet store who refused to take responsibility, saying that I HAD to talk to "Sears". Spent over an hour being transferred back and forth, reaching a live persons each time, only for that person to put me right back into the queue or transfer me to "another department". Each person blaming another. I got NOWHERE. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM!!

I purchased a refrigerator in December 2015 I did not purchase the extra warranty because refrigerators normally last up to 10 years I have had the same problem that Ive read other people have had in regards to the fan in the refrigerator not working causing my freezer not to work . Called the store and was told to contact Kenmore because " two years is a long time " stating that refrigerators dont normally last that long ! These products that are scratch and dent from this store are unfortunately, all lemons no one should purchase a problem appliance and that /apparently is all they sell. This is the second time I have purchased an appliance from this location and I will never do that again I will certainly take my business and I have told all of my family to take their business as well , elsewhere . No one should have to repurchase refrigerators every two years . What a rip off !!

Walked in and light skin Spanish male (bald)approached....Did not identify himself by name.....asked him several questions in regards to brands and pricing and he did not know anything....then saw a credit card promotion that he did not know or understand? I asked him if he was new and he was offended.....he walked away to ask manager something and disappeared in back room. Another male who seemed like the manager saw our interaction and never bothered to ask me if i needed help...I waited 10 minutes and browsed thinking maybe he would come back with answers to my questions.....NO....he comes back on his personal phone and stands talking with someone by the front desk......pathetic....I walked out and kept eye contact with him.....Sears lost a potential $1500 sale. 3/30/17....Wouldnt be too hard for manger to follow up on this........lol

I bought a refrigerator from here 4 years ago. All of a sudden it stopped working. I called sears and they sent someone out to do repairs ($300). A week later the same thing happened. I called again and found out that this particular Sears outlet is not affiliated with Sears. They are a third party company that bought the name Sears and sells refurbished appliances. I feel like if its refurbished this is something that shouldve been disclosed. They tried to work with me and refunded the $300 for the repairs because Id rather buy a new fridge. I was told i would have a $500 voucher towards a new fridge but the catch is I can only use it at this same outlet. I dont want another refurbished fridge. Im really disappointed in the fact that that info was not disclosed with me. Needless to say, I wont be buying another appliance from here.

We have been loyal Sears customers. I will never purchase from Sears after this experience. The only reason I gave them 1 star is because it wouldnt allow me to give "0"! We purchased a refrigerator from the outlet in July 2015 for a rental property. Right off the bat the installers did not level it and hooked up ice maker incorrectly, water leaked all over - damaged wall and flooring. The install company made good and reimbursed us for damages. October was first service call for refrigerator not working, problem with fan.... Since then 4 more service calls for same issue. Sears will not replace the unit because we did not purchase additional warranty? This refrigerator is clearly a lemon! I will be contacting BBB and writing many reviews as I would hate to see this happen to someone else. I am taking my business elsewhere!
