We have traditionally purchased our appliances from the big box stores like Lowes or Home Depot. But we were looking this time for some particular characteristics in our kitchen appliances and decided to visit some local appliance stores. Immediately after we stepped into Henlopen Appliance we were glad we did. The store is owned by Amy and Trevor Vest, who will treat you well. We expected to pay higher prices than the big box stores but were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable their prices were. The best thing in dealing with Amy and Trevor is their attentiveness to the customer; they went out of their way to ensure that our kitchen remodeling went flawlessly. We are really pleased with our experience at Henlopen Appliance and, given that they may soon be moving to a larger store location, they are obviously pleasing their other customers, too.

After much back and forth with a larger appliance chain regarding purchasing a new washer/dryer, I had just had enough. I went to Henlopen Appliances and their pricing was almost the same but the service was light years ahead of the other company. The washer and dryer were delivered, set up and are working great. There were no hidden fees or nickel and diming. The two guys came and did the install were very professional and cleaned up everything before they left. I absolutely couldnt be happier! I would recommend them to ANYONE looking for an appliance. Thanks again! Brian

Yesterday ( 4/5 ), we had Sean & Jake from your Lewes office visit and perform maintenance on our refrigerator. They diagnosed the problem immediately and proceeded to correct it. Their expertise and attitude was exceptional. Since this was the first service call by Henlopen Appliances, we were not sure what to expect. We are so happy and pleased with their performance that we plan to call and request that Sean and Jake be assigned to any of our future maintenance work.

We live out of the area and needed to arrange a dishwasher install for this weekend. We called last week to order the appliance and spoke to Amy who couldnt have been more helpful to us and accommodating to our schedule. Trevor showed up first thing Saturday morning and did a great job with the install. He also took the time to review the features with us. We will definitely call on them again!

Unfortunately the company has gone the way of locally owned prima donna stores. called them for a service call on my fridge; second for this appliance, fourth to our home. Also purchased a $1,000 dishwasher from them a year ago. Was informed by Ryan that thry now only service what they sell. They were.not even open yet when we purchased the fridge! Ill never set foot in your store again!

A big thank you to Sean at Henlopen Appliance. Sean came out (Tuesday..6/28/16), checked out our ice maker , ordered parts & we were back in business in 3 days(Friday..7/1/16). They were able to work us back into their schedule right before the 4th of July weekend..That is service. Will use them again.. Great job Sean. Thanks, Chris
