1) went to purchase a motorcycle, and when I asked to see the motorcycle start up--and hear it, I was advised that if I wanted to see this, I would have to "buy" the bike -- That should have been the red flag --I should have heeded to. 2) I purchased the motorcycle shortly after (a v star cruiser) and took it home the same day. Literally 6 days with approximately 3 hours driving time -- the motorcycle broke down). Not fun -- being stranded on the road; having to get it towed... (And paying for it); the back and forth to the dealership (1.5hrs one way for me) to bring them the keys ( b/c the tow truck came at 1am, and they were obviously closed ) 3) long story short -- it was on its still under its warrenty -- but the mechanics advised me the problem was "Me" and that I destroyed the clutch. Which in the few hours I owned and rode the motorcycle -- I find it hard to believe -- there was no street racing going on in this vstar; no rev bombing, no wheelies, no smoking tires... 4) they fixed the motorcycle , but did not adhere to the time schedule they put forth for the repair- didnt charge me though.... 3 days later though .... It happened again! Stuck on the road... Stranded... Waiting and paying for another tow truck. 5) I called the dealer again for service , and was instructed that I have to re-examine my "riding style", and that the repair would most likely come with a charge. --- I didnt take the motorcycle back to them; I had the clutch since replaced; but the among of time spent in the whole process... And $ lost... The lack of compassion for what I went through-- Its unacceptable by anyones standards. I purchased the motorcycle from a dealer hoping I wouldnt be screwed... My friend called and asked about their certification process on used motorcycles... And we were told they dont change the oil, filter or anything else if it passes the "Eyeball" test; there is no real evaluation / maintenance going on for used bikes they sell... Anyway -- that is one persons experience ; hope you have better luck than I. Gonna buy from a private citizen / seller or MOST LIKELY NEW--but NOT from these guys.

I bought a Can Am Spyder in 2014 very shortly after I bought it the problems started and have not stopped even up till now. I went immediately to cycle exchange after the first incident and the salesman didnt care or offer any help. I spoke to the manager he also did not care or offer any compensation. I even sent an email 2 weeks ago asking someone to contact me and not surprised no one got in touch w me. I have had this bike in the shop so much I am afraid to ride it and just had it towed again last week, the tow truck driver said oh no not again. It is not just one problem its all different type of problems,I get my bike serviced every year and keep up w oil changes fyi, Below is a quote from their website: We pride ourselves on providing our customers with the highest level of customer service. If you made a purchase, had service work performed, or bought parts and accessories from us, we want to hear what you think. Shame on you for selling me a bike unfit for the road, saying"u pride yourselves on providing your customers w the highest level of customer service" thats a joke,I hope u sleep well at night taking our money and not doing anything to help w your mistake, thank u for leaving me on the side of the road many times. I was very polite when I came in but guess bc I am a woman u felt u could take advantage and not give a damn. I will tell anyone I know not to buy from you

Came here to buy my first motorcycle. BUYER BEWARE!!! They do not check their used inventory thoroughly before selling. They claim they check the bikes and they are sold safe and ready to ride. I barely put 200 miles on my bike before it began stalling and finally broke down and was in need of serious repair. Charging system components needed replacement, carbs needed cleaning, coolant fan was wired incorrectly and installed in a way that was damaging to the radiator, rubber grommets insulating the tank from the frame were missing. I came here to buy my first motorcycle, not a project bike or a money pit. At the end of the day I bought this bike used and “as is” so the responsibility falls on me, the buyer. Anyone shopping here had best bring a mechanic or have one look over the bike after the sale to warn you of any potential problems as Cycle Exchange will not warn you and their mechanical review of the bikes they sell is questionable at best. I would recommend that if your price range is on the low end as mine was, not to trust them when they say a bike is mechanically sound and ready for the road. Bottom line – don’t trust these guys.

Purchased my first Harley on 6/29/13. Absolutely awesome service and an awesome crew. I got the number i was looking for on my trade, got a great deal on my Harley, and would not hesitate to refer friends and family to these folks. John Rielly quickly put some numbers together and was able to get me an awesome deal. He even helped me out with loading up my new bike and was very knowledgeable of the product he was selling. Will follow up in a few months to ensure everyone gets a full picture of the experience and the product. 11/9/2013 So its now at the end of the 2013 riding season. Ive had nothing but good things to say about my Harley and the folks over at cycle exchange. Minus the typical wear and tear and required maintenance, Ive invested $14 in repairs for my bike. John Reilly has answered the few questions Ive had and Ive had nothing but a positive experience. Please dont hesitate in using these folks when and if you become ready to purchase a bike.

This place has a huge selection of bikes at reasonable prices. John Reilly helped me and walked me through the entire process. I purchased a honda nc700x and im very happy with the purchase. Purchased it slightly used with 2800 miles. It has been over a month and the bike has been flawless. Not a single issue. I removed a star because of their fees. The bike was listed at 4.5k. I ended up paying 5.3k and I had to put down at least $500. They charge $175 for the application, $175 to prep the bike, $150 for plates plus all taxes. (Non negotiable) So keep that in mind if you are financing with them. The bank that they use is ok but has a horrible online payment method. (Make sure that you start the first payment process weeks in advance because it is going to take that long for them to verify your account) unless you dont mind spending another $5 if you use a atm card. Other than that Cycle exchange is ok.

Couldnt be more negative.. sent several emails, prolly more than a dozen. all trying to get someone to deal with me to buy a bike.. called and even left messages! Didnt need any financing through them as i had arranged my own. NOBODY could contact me back.. Maybe my money isnt good enough or something or maybe they just dont want to sell a bike... Either way, its fine. I am pissed, and I am sure someone else will get treated better and be sold a motorcycle. but for me, I will take my $8000 somewhere else. too bad nobody lists the managers name or email on the website, i would love to start a dialog about MY potential sales situation. Get some people who want to sell bikes in your sales force, and if you are going to put up an "Email Us" button for the bikes do yourself a favor and have someone answer them. too bad i couldnt leave a negative star or two..
