Dwaine is quite possibly the best jeweler in the midwest. Ive worked with him a couple of times on designing rings for me. I bring in a few inspiration photos, and then Dwaine runs with it. Each time Ive worked with him, hes captured the spirit of what Im looking for while creating a unique, custom ring. The atmosphere at Goldsmith Silversmith is cozy, warm, and laid back. Youll feel right at home. The staff is friendly and efficient. The location is in the Old Market area, which is a great destination in Omaha. Dwaine is patient and kind, and he knows his stuff! He has almost 40 years of experience. Hes easy to work with and hes direct--hell be honest with you about what he can create for you within your budget, and hell work with you until youre satisfied. Goldsmith Silversmith prices are completely reasonable, especially given the fact that youll wind up with a custom piece of jewelry that youll feel great wearing. You can go to a big jeweler and get something that looks like what everyone else is wearing, or you can go see Dwaine and get something that reflects your personality and is truly your own. I cant recommend Dwaine and Goldsmith Silversmith enough!

Love this goldsmith! I have been given 3 sets of beautiful earrings over the last 30 years and they are still gorgeous. Most recently, I took in a custom ring that they designed. A ring that my husband bought for me on the birth of our daughter, 24 years ago. Gold band, with a brilliant diamond and a cornflower blue sapphire. It has been on my finger everyday for the last 24 years and it only needed a couple of prongs replaced after all that time. When that same daughter turned 18, she and Dwayne together, designed a very special silver ring with a loose blue sapphire we brought in. Beautifully crafted and a one of a kind family heirloom. Five stars from this family!

I recently bought a custom engagement ring from Goldsmith Silversmith, and I am incredibly pleased with both the quality of the craftsmanship, and the service. I brought a picture and a severe budget to the store, and Dwaine gave me a full and honest explanation of the various options available to me, rather than trying to push me into an unaffordable credit plan. The ring was made in a timely manner, and looks beautiful.

When I took my mothers wedding ring in to have it re-set they took it to their jewelers home, without my permission. I found this out because 3 weeks later they hadnt even started it, I was calling on the day that it was due to be completed. I demanded it back, and got it back - in pieces. Save your valuables!
