BE AWARE OF THESE GUYS Last year I bought a brand new Kingquad 400 from Summit Motor Sport. My third ATV bought there. I use it mostly in Mexico and decided that with the flat desert roads I wanted a little more power. After six month owning it I decided I could sell it in Mexico and get most of my money back and buy the 500. I emailed Rich several times asking him what the cost of a new Kingquad 500 would be and it was like pulling teeth. After multiple emails he finally gave me a quote of $6,800. He even seemed annoyed that I asked so many times. Maybe he has better things to do than sell me an ATV. Anyway, seemed really cheap so I wrote back to make sure it was the right price. Based on the quote I sold my ATV in Mexico for less than I could have gotten for it. I just wanted to sell it fast. A month later I went to summit sports to pick up the 500 and Rich told me they had to build one and to come back on Monday. I took time off work and went the following Friday just to give them extra time and the ATV was still not built. Rich just looked at me with that whatever look. I decided to deal with another salesperson, John, since Rich didn’t seem to have it together and doesn’t really seem to care. John apologized and had it built. I tried it and I was ready to buy when he emailed me. “I followed up with Jeff (the owner) on the $6800 price on the King Quad. He informed me that was a deal on a blowout sale on 2013 King Quad that we had carryover on. The best bottom dollar price we could give you on a 2017 Suzuki King Quad 500 would be $7920. To make it street legal it would be another $150 for a grand total price of $8070 OTD. I had Jeff really sharpen his pencil to get the price as low as he could.” First of all I never asked for a 2013, I asked for a new one. Second of all, if that was a blow out sale I should have been told. Suddenly the price was over $1,200 of what I was quoted and I had given away my 6 month old ATV in Mexico based on the $6,800 quote. I wrote Jeff (the owner) explaining in detail what had happened and he didn’t even bother to reply or apologize. Complete silence from Summit Motor Sports. I called Staack’s Motor Sports in Butte and without even “sharpening their pencil” over the phone, they were able to offer me a 2017 Kingquad Power Steering for $7,650 including everything to make it street legal and 4 ratchet straps. I was driving by Butte, sent them a picture of my Driver’s license and in 10 minutes I was out the door with the new ATV. You would think that after giving a wrong quote to a customer who has purchased several ATVs in their shop they would try to help, even if they had to break even on the sale and give them a killer deal. Instead they even try to rip you off. Obviously Jeff cares even less than Rich. Before you buy at Summit Sport shop around, these guys don’t deserve the business. Further note: When talking with Jeff about the Kingquad 500 he wasn’t even aware that in 2016 Suzuki had redesigned the engine and other things. He flat out told me that nothing had changed on the machine. Obviously they don’t even keep up with their machines so they can advise their clients correctly. Good thing they are Suzuki dealers!

Spent 10 mins on sales floor nobody greeted nobody acknowledged me. They all spent time talking with each other and playing with the dog. When someone finally acknowledged me their excuse was they were busy with new inventory that was coming in. I have been in retail for over 20 years. I have been a general manger and sales manager in the Powersports industry for half of that. I am the 3 percent of the entire population that participates in your business segment! (Industry knowledge I am sure your not aware of!) When you make a mistake you dont give an excuse. You apologize with a smile! You mean it! You dont make it sound like I am inconveniencing you from doing something more important. I am the customer! I am here with my 760 beacon score and significant income! (I know that is also rare to find too!) I want to feel like you generally want to earn my business! None of this happened. I am going to buy that new maverick I have many friends who are dealers for this great product. I wanted to shop local. I just moved back here but wont be shopping here. I have plans to buy the maverick, 2 Ktm motorcycles and potentially a couple of sleds or snow bike kits along with all new gear and accessories for my other toys! Good luck with your new inventory. I am sure you will be playing flooring on it in 90 days!

I called on Monday to get a quote from the sales department for a new bike. The sales guy Rich said he would give me a call back later in the afternoon which never happened. I called them 15min before closing, got ahold of him again, apparently he didnt recognize me right away as he basically told me there was someone else interested in the same bike but he wasnt going to call him back that day. forgivable so far, I tell him that was me and he says he will call me tomorrow morning first thing. Two days later and he wont even return my messages! If this is how poor the sales staff is I dont even want to ponder how crap the rest is. I just put down a deposit at big sky Motorsports in Missoula as I would rather drive the 400 miles and waste 7 hours of my life driving than deal with this crap again. Dont waste your time, they dont deserve your money. Refer to the face punching comment below if you want to get an idea of the service from this place.

These guys are HORRIBLE!! Not knowing this business it seems like it would be legitimate but its by far the worst shop in Bozeman! After working for these guys for (too long) you see how they treat their buddies with good service but when a random customer comes in they treat them like they dont want your business, lie to them, charge them an outrageous price for a service that wasent even done correctly, and you see comebacks after comebacks. If your looking for a good quality shop with great customer service this is NOT the place for quality or good customer service. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT SUMMIT MOTORSPORTS.

Brought my Suzuki here for its 1st servicing at 600 miles. After riding it home the bike lost all power and would not start, leaving me stuck. Luckily I was near a friends place, we looked over the bike apart and found that they had neglected to securely reattach the main body harness and it had jiggled loose. They denied any responsibility and stated "I dont know what you want us to do". Could have been a very dangerous mistake if the bike would have cut out at the wrong time. Disappointed with the lack of accountability with the service staff. Will not be returning again.
