In my opinion only, At first I had great service, as I called them up and they had an off-duty employee who drove my correct sized serpentine belt to where I was stranded for $20 (I offered) long story short, I stopped by to pick up another one and a serpentine belt pulley tensioner, this time, they sold me the wrong type of pulley and wrong sized of belt! I had just bought the right sized one from them that same day, should be in their computer system if nothing else. After discussion with manager regarding situation, she refused to have a taxi deliver the correct belt to me, near closing time. Effectively would have stranded me overnight on way back to MN. Horrendous service and pure & utter incompetence, not expected in Montana, resulting in me paying $20 taxi ride to pick up right part. Happened August 2015. 6 months later, back in MN, AutoZone management when told of the experience, promptly refunded me my taxi fee! Because of that manager, I would only recommend this store if only option available, and double check your parts, dont trust them to correct a mistake of there own, honest or not!

I had great customer service there today. My Jeep Wranglers starter was getting very weak and sometimes wouldnt turn over the motor fast enough to start. The battery in the Jeep seemed good, I thought the problem was with the starter, but feared it might be something I was missing. Anyway, I pulled it off, and took it into the Bozeman AutoZone for the core credit when I bought a remanufactured one. On their test jig the old starter tested good but one of the store employees said. "Yeah, but it sounds weak, put a new unit on the tester and listen to the difference". He was right as rain. Bought the starter, put it in the Jeep and got a nice fast crank and an instant start. The guys at Autozone were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

I went here to get a replacement bulb for a headlight on my FJ Cruiser. On my way over all my dash lights came on and stayed on and there was a noticeable drop on my battery charge gauge. They offered to come out and run a test on my battery and were able to zero in on the alternator. It was a Sunday afternoon. No options for service so they took my battery out and gave it a full charge in the store ( took about 60 minutes) so I would be able to get the car home without risk of the battery going dead. No charge! Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and genuinely nice people who are seriously interested in helping their customers and doing a good job.

I walked in to order something and was not greeted by anyone, which would have been ok except I could not find what I was looking for. There was one guy at the counter helping someone and another guy screwing around in the back talking on his cell phone. I waited a long time for the counter guy to finish up but he was having some issues. He never even acknowledged I was waiting and after a while I decided they did not need my business so I left. This is not the first time Ive been in and there is no one available to help. I wont be going back! - 2017.05.21

Came to Auto Zone to buy a replacement rear turn signal light bulb. Reasonably priced and they give Military discount with valid ID. I didnt have any tools, and being from out of state, I asked the Mgr if he could help me install so I didnt get a ticket. He pulled he tail light assembly, replaced the bulb and I was back on the road in under 15 min. Great job guys.

My check-engine light came on while I was traveling on Memorial Day. Stopped in, and the staff did the diagnostic check there in the parking lot, told me the problem, printed an informational sheet with potential costs and talked with me about the pros and cons of waiting to fix it. I appreciated the help and the discussion that didnt make me feel like an idiot.

Great service, called on the phone and asked if they had a bulb, immediately answered yes. When I got to the store and asked where the bulbs were, a guy walked me straight to them and immediately picked up the bulbs I was looking for and handed it to me. He probably saved me 5 minutes by doing that so I didnt have to go looking for the bulb.
