Im confused as to who is giving the high volume of good ratings. If you click on their profiles (some anonymous), they all live in different states: Texas, Florida, California... suspicious? I stopped by this place a few years ago to ask questions about their services. The staff behaved lackadaisical and bored, and the stench of cigarette smoke literally drove me from the premises. Having new computer issues, I called and asked the price and procedure for getting a new laptop screen. When he gave prices for simply removing the screen in order to get the part number, I inquired as to why I couldnt just get the part number from HP. The staff member actually chuckled and stated that "HP is NOT going to give you the part number." Undeterred, I immediately called HPs Spare Parts number. Customer Service was very polite and gave me the part number based on my model and serial number. I decided to give the business another chance and drove there. The main door was propped open, as the weather was good. I cant imagine that computer equipment enjoys 80+ degree weather; I thought electronics needed climate-control and circulation. The smoke smell, while present, was diminished by the open door. I shared with the same salesman my experience with HP, and asked him pointedly why he gave me differing information. He lied and said he only told me "they might" not give me the part number. I asked some questions about prices, timeframes, etc. Every answer was vague and noncommittal. in the middle of our conversation he answered the phone without so much as an "excuse me." I left, and dont think he noticed. As a side note, the website is very professional, and the actual store looks like someones basement mess - not professional.

On Dec 20, 2013, I took my computer in to remove a virus; Rob handled this and I picked my computer up on Dec 28th. On that day I spoke with you and told you a story. I said my wife had her vacuum cleaner serviced at AAA Vacuum on Lindbergh. When we wanted to buy a new one,we went to to AAA because they work with vacuums everyday; they have the expertise and know which systems represent the best value. I told you that we intended to apply the same logic to computers and that when the time came to buy a new system we were coming to J & B Technology. Today was that day. We arrived at J & B around 2:30 pm, expecting to make an appointment for the discussion. We ended up sitting down with Dennis and laying out our list of needs. He listened and prepared our bid. He offerred us time to think it over and approach competitors. Sue and I looked and each other, looked at Dennis, and told him we didnt need to think about it further. We placed the order. Dennis said we could pay for it next week. We told him we would pay for it today so that J & B wouldnt be Cash-out-of-pocket for a week. In short, we wanted you to know how much we appreciate you company and that we did what we said we would almost two years ago. We came back and bought a system at your company!

I just wanted to say how pleased we were with your service. Id say Im an intermediate computer user, I used to build my own sites with old school html, and build my own computer towers until laptops became so affordable it just wasnt cost effective anymore. We caught a computer virus recently, and I tried everything I knew to fix it. I called you guys up, and to my amazement got service at our home later that same day. The tech was friendly, courteous, knew what he was doing, and corrected our issue in about 45 minutes. He spent the balance of the hour helping us with other minor issues. I didnt expect that either. He updated some of our programs, and helped me to understand what was going on as he proceeded so I could learn a bit, and keep things running smoothly. He went above and beyond what we expected. I really appreciated him doing that, taking the extra time to help up avoid another problem, but more so that he fixed our issue and saved out laptop. Money is tight for us these days. I couldnt be happier with your all around service, the price, and will recommend you to anyone with a computer problem who asks, and will do so.

A weird thing happened. I joined an organization that has an important mission to which I am dedicated. No sooner was I patting myself on the back for my "good works" when I encountered a computer glitch. I was told that some off-site computer service was their solution. I wasnt excited. I now have a new and INVALUABLE partner in J&B Tech and specifically Matthew P. Snyders. I have gone as far as to mention him to my mother and my best friend. Ive never encountered someone who consistently shows such patience and optimism. I can honestly say that my day is better with Matthews presence. Instead of dreading "tech service" calls, I look forward to my day being brightened and enhanced by Matthew! Oh yeah, hes always solved our issues either on the spot or with follow-up. I think everyone need a Matthew in their life. Thank you Ron Kronenberger for having added him to your team!

We decided to call J&B Technologies after our previous IT company was not solving the problem. J&B immediately jumped in and diagnosed our server problem and gave us a plan to really fix the issue instead of bandaiding. I like the fact that someone answers the phone when you call J&B and they get back to you as promised. Bob Palmer, the tech from J&B, was a tremendous help and really took the time to make sure our drives were replaced correctly and for once I felt someone really cared about what we needed. I would highly recommend J&B to anyone looking for an IT company as they take the time get to the root of the problem and then solve the issue with expertise.

It is not an overstatement to say J&B Technologies perform computer miracles, in my case, three times in the past few years. When multiple experts in my company’s national IT Division, as well as at my local retailer computer group, had given up, J&B Tech, and in particular, Mr. John Kistler, restored connections and lost data. For the third computer event, I went directly to J&B Tech to prevent wasted time, frustration and anxiety. J&B Tech can truly solve computer problems when other IT professionals have given up; they achieve phenomenal results in a short timeframe and at a reasonable cost.

I came to this place for a $400 switch box (at the time I didnt know what I was looking for exactly). I explained what I was needing and they talked me into some $100 a month program. So for 3 years I spent close to $3600 just so they could pad theyre pockets. They werent looking out for me because if they were they would have just sold me the $400 switch router that I needed in the first place.
