Worst experience buying a hand gun. The people at the counter of the gun section have no clue of what they are doing or even know a thing about a gun. You might as well call this the most liberal owned company to sell fire arms as well. Never been convicted of any crime and got a hold. A month passes no phone call. go back up there and they say they have to run my name again. State law for Mississippi says if you are put on hold after 30 days you are legally able to release fire arm. Went to dads pawn down the street ran my name got my gun that day and have purchased 5 weapons from them. Dont spend your money with this company they are fools!

I giave a 3 rating score because the type of that I was looking for had poor variety. Then there was no employee around to help. After walking around around for a little bit I found the only employee in the shoes department. She was very jice and help me with my needs. I have had this experience at other times while visiting this store. it is a good store but needs a few extra employees around the store.

My experiences with this store have been good. As to the merchandise I can usually find what I want at reasonable price. However, if youre not certain of what you need, dont go here, go to Dicks. The reason I only give four stars is because the employees are almost impossible to reach to help you find something. If you start walking toward them, they, very quickly, begin walking away.

When I first walked in at about 4:30pm a lady greeted me! But when I walked over to checkout a rifle I was interested in, the guy sitting behind the counter was bsing with another guy about guns! I stood about 8ft down from them for about 8 to 9 minutes! The sales guy sitting didnt even acknowledge I was even there!!! So l Ill take my business elsewhere!!!!! Wont be back!!!!

Love shopping here with one exception. Great selection. My only complaint is the store is simply too small. Some isles are only really wide enough for a single buggy, so gets crazy. Always try and come in the evening during the week when less crowded. Personally i find some things over priced. Like $35 for a pair of crocks for a 2 year old.

I went here to purchase a Mountain House bucket of dehydrated meals for emergencies and they were out of stock. The manager let me get a small discount on purchasing individual packs of it so the price came out the same. I will be giving them further business.

Over all was good but i wanted to go down one of the fishing rows and it had a ladder in the aisle.empty boxes everywhere and a box busted open had fishing worms ln it and it looked like it was dropped and all this stuff. Was blocking the aisle.

I absolutely love academy sporting goods. But was disappointed this Christmas on their selection of fishing poles. Me and my husband buy each other a new pole every Christmas from here, but we are having to look at Dicks and NOT happy.

Great experience, all the clothes and the out door stuff you can muster up. Staff is friendly and helpful. From boats, to Levis, you can find it here. The only drawback is once you get in the store you tend to browse a lot.

If you can play it, they sell it. Great selection and prices. Always super busy so I must not be the only one who thinks this way. And open late means I dont have to time my visits around the store hours. All is good.

Im from out of town and this experience was the worst Ive ever had. The whole time my cousin and I were being watched cause she had her baby sleeping in the cart. We told a manager and she acted like she didnt even care.
