Twice I have gone into this store to purchase the set of weights that was currently on sale, both times it being a different set. Each time I waited an hour to have them tell me that they do not have the set in stock and made no effort to find the product at a sister store. All I got was an, "Oh well!" Now I have a weight bench sitting in my house for two weeks with no weights on it in which they will not take back since it has been put together and there in no manufacturer defect that I cannot find due to the fact that I cannot use it.

Purchased a wooden swing set today and as I started putting it together I realized a piece was missing so I contacted the store and they told me I could come pick up the piece. I got home and continued to the next step then realized another piece was missing also!! This is such a pain and a waste of money if Im constantly driving to and from the store to pick up missing pieces that should have been in the box!

No one was there to check customers out. Only the customer service desk was open and of course they were busy helping someone with a return and calling other stores to locate an item.... which is the job of the customer service desk.... but someone should always be on a register to check out customers. This seems to be a regular practice at this location.

I have only been here a few times, but its easily the best sporting store around. They have better deals than anyone else and a huge selection. They have a great assortment of fitness gear and a lot of other stuff. There were several fitness related items that I saw that were at least 20% less than competing stores had them listed for.

Advertise a fathers day sale and they dont even have the sale on fathers day. They are a joke. Had people driving from over a hundred miles for the sale they said they where having. I for sure have a different outlook on academy sports

Door greeter approached me and greeted me with a smile and ask if there was anything he could help me with.... Floor Associates went above and beyond to help me locate an item that was not on the Shelf. Customer service is excellent!

Well I came here to buy a reel and they had the free line winding so Im not giving up on something like this and I was here well over a hour and no service at all. There can be at least 1 person at the gun counter.

Best prices on clothing, will price match, great service. Im going to the Philippines for 2 months and I got all my clothing and equipment here. Definitely prefer over bass pro.
