Avoid this store at all costs. I went in today to replace my damaged phone they told us that we had to completely restructured our plan in order to get a new phone. When I asked what I would have to do to walk out with a phone in my hand, the employee told me but they only I could give me a reconditioned iPhone 3, which she then told me they had none of. I asked specifically if I could purchase for full price on htc desire which is essentially the same phone I was trying to replace, and he told me again that I could only get the reconditioned iPhone 3. He recommended that I try other metro locations: for reconditioned iPhones. When I called the Maplewood store they had several reconditioned iPhones in stock my dad and I went to the Maplewood store waited for over an hour for them to serve us. This was only because they were incredibly busy on a Saturday afternoon. When we did get 2c it an associate at the Maplewood store, I explained what the Robert Street associate told us. I asked if I could purchase the HTC phone for full price and he said absolutely. This is the same question I asked the guy at the Robert Street store and he it told me absolutely not. So essentially, the Robert Street store wasted over an hour and a half of my Saturday and was a complete and total jerk about it. I will never return to this store because of this employees behavior. The employee at the Robert Street store continually try to get us to change our plan or ordered complete nonsense about prepaid plans that did not affect the phone I wanted to purchase. Or he thought I was a complete idiot and didnt understand what I was trying to do. The jokes on him because the wonderful associate at the Maplewood store, which I would recommend literally a million times over this nonsense store, got the commission for my phone which she helped me purchase.

The rating should be ZERO stars, but Googles selections dont allow for anything less than two stars. I found a Sprint LG slider phone in a park about a week ago. The phone had been wet from the rain and so I had dried it out in a bag of white rice. Unfortunately, the screen did not survive the soaking. I pulled the SD card and found that there were several photos still intact, including photos of a young man with someone who was laying in a hospital or nursing home bed. In my mind I think this might be the young mans great grandfather. The phone did hold a charge and there were several incoming calls in the following days (even today) -- but I was not able to pick-up or hear anyone on the other end because of the water damage. Also, because of the bad screen, I could not see the caller ID or any information that would be displayed on the screen. I brought the phone to this Sprint store, assuming that they would be happy to match the phone up with its rightful owner. I was wrong. I was told that there would need to be paperwork completed and the phone would be flagged as "abandoned". When I asked if there would be any attempt to locate the phones owner, I was told no. Not even as a service to their customer sine there are personal photos on the phone?? No. I took the phone back and told the Deficient who didnt really care to help me that I would continue to try to find the owner on my own, maybe by listing on CraisgList. I was appalled by the complete lack of interest in taking any steps to help their customer - in providing service to their customer by returning a phone to them. I am not a Sprint customer, nor will I ever be based on lack of service to their customers.

I had an absolutely perfect experience at this location and I am very grateful for the customer service I received. Enrique Franco was the representative who assisted me and from the time we began to the time we ended, I felt that I mattered. I initially came for a phone, and I left with so much more. I am definitely returning to this location and I am glad to be a Sprint customer. Heres an update---SO I mentioned that I left with so much more and I truly did. Enrique informed me that I would receive a free tablet and that $10 would be credited to my account to offset the charge of the tablet, I got my bill and not only did I get charged and credited the 10$ but I also got charged a service fee that was not mentioned when he gave me this "free"tablet. I am so disgusted by being manipulated. And whats even more so upsetting is that this tablet no longer even works, I was told by Sprint that to cancel this "free" tablet, Id have to pay $225 and because its not working, they have to have a technician check it before they will cancel it. Lesson learned: nothing is free and people will do anything to get ahead. Ive been with this company for over a decade and have never been so disgusted. I am now looking for a cell provider who doesnt lie to customers and charm them just for good ratings only to stick them with products that they are forced to pay for monthly or pay cancellation fees. If Enrique Franco was completely up front about the monthly service fee or the $225 cancellation fee, I wouldnt have left the store with the product. Customer service manipulation.

Horrible customer service. three weeks ago I went in because my phone was dropping gps and signal frequently around St paul. The woman sat there trying to figure out what i meant for 15 minutes. I dont think "dropping gps and signal" is to hard to understand, but maybe im wrong. after that 15 minutes or so, she finally walked over to the tech and relayed what I said. after about 30 seconds she walked back and said "its not the phone". I asked what she meant and both her and the tech proceeded to tell me theres nothing wrong with my phone and that they cant do anything. They tell me this without even looking at my phone. They tell me all they can do is order me a refurbished phone. I said do it, and their response is are you sure. I told them yes and after standing there and having her ordering my phone, or at least i though, I left. I call the store 3 weeks later asking about the phone they ordered and they say theres nothing on file. I decided to go to sprint off of white bear ave and they took my phone without question to look at it and within an hour they figured out whats wrong, the problem actually being my phone by the way. So all i can say is thanks for nothing but wasting my time Robert St. you will never see me in your store again.

Im a long time customer since 1996 or 1997 and Im very pleased with Sprint Cell service there has not been 1 time when I was in need and Sprint has not satisfied my needs. Hats off to Jeff Morgan store manager and Shane Lucy Representative. Jeff is the greatest, outstanding service. I was having major problems with my phone and each replacement phone was just as bad but the way Jeff handled the issue was impeccable, awesome and impressive. Jeff made it possible for me to go into the Galaxy S6 and now I’m highly recommending the Robert Street store even more. I thank you Jeff thank you thank you thank you. And Shane your assistance also must be noted you made sure when I left the store my service was functioning all my contacts, pictures and texts was loaded on my new phone and to mention Shane helped me with the home connect device and service. Now I have sprint for my home service with my original phone number of 20 years for only half the cost and more features. What a great experience, outstanding service. If anyone is having issue go to Sprint Store on Robert St. I’m a Sprint lifer….Keep on smiling Blessings Beverly
