I love this place! I went once when I was in middle school and I just didnt understand the whole concept of buying used stuff...but that all changed last year when I moved into my first post-college apartment and had to buy a bunch of stuff for it. I went once just to see what they had and I was surprised by the amazing variety. Then I was quickly hooked and started going almost every weekend. Ive toned it down now to around once a month. It can be fairly hit or miss, just like all thrift shopping. Sometimes Ill spend 45 minutes there and walk out empty handed and sometimes Ill spend 2+ hours there and walk out with multiple bags full of new-to-me treasures. I have gotten some really great stuff here, like some Waterford crystal glasses for $0.70 a piece and a vintage suitcase in almost-perfect condition for $2. Ive found some good stuff to repurpose too, its a great store if youre into that sort of thing. On Sundays they have specials on clothing and each week they have 50% sales on different colored price tags (green tags on sale one week, yellow another). In the month and a half leading up to Christmas they have a huge Christmas section setup. The good stuff goes really fast but I was able to find some nice ornaments (some vintage) for my tree and some beautiful scandinavian decorations too, but most of the Christmas stuff is really picked over so dont worry if you dont find something you like. Almost everything is reasonably priced, sure there is some stuff that could be priced less, but hey, its for a good cause so if I really want it I bit the bullet. Basically, I love this place and, like any thrift store, its hit or miss so youve got to go frequently.

Plenty of variety in stock, prices good...staff are clearly not being trained to be welcoming. Management has obviously prioritized display and merchandise organization, over making any efforts on welcoming customers or being friendly to them. It was throughout the visit both times, with many opportunities both times from several staff... no "Hi how are you today?" or, "Are you finding everything alright?" until the staff at checkout, who were more personable. So, definitely a work-culture and management thing. Good cause, will go again...hope to see a more friendly store happening.

This is the busiest thrift store Ive ever seen. It was positively bustling. The offerings, therefore, are pretty picked over and junky. They seem to put anything out. I saw a stick for sale for $.99. A stick. Seriously. Its also barely organized. There were a few cute things and the record section was the biggest Ive ever seen in a thrift store. I might return just for that, or maybe on a day with very bad weather when theres less people. But overall it was just too busy to be promising

I paid $10 in gas to get to this horrible disappointment and man I am regretting it every second. Either everything was Walmart, Target or so old and not in a cute way. Such a waste of my time. I love thrifting and finding that "hidden treasure" but after 30 minutes of digging I gave up. Cant believe the people online who gave it good reviews!? Were you on acid or something? Clothing was an absolute miss and home... unless you are looking for Christmas crap youre out of luck.

It seems like the last 2-3 times I was in this store I spent more time at the checkout then actually shopping... Yesterday after standing in line almost 15 minutes, I just left my items on the DVD table by the checkout and walked out. A few weeks back the clerk drove me crazy checking the name brands, style and design (then commented each item) of EVERY piece she rang up! OMG... She may have all the time in the world... But I do not! Waste of my lunch hour for sure.

This is my favorite thrift store! The staff are helpful and friendly. The place is meticulously clean--which is a challenge in any thrift store. Their wares are high quality--I seldom see an item that is stained or damaged. Ive found some fabulous finds here. And, I love to donate to them (as opposed to Savers) because all the proceeds from the donated items go directly to the differently-abled folks they serve. A worthy charity and a fun place to shop!

ARC is my go to place to find just about anything; from gently used clothes, childrens books, kitchen accessories, decor and home goods! The prices are great, and you can receive rewards for donating, volunteering and just by buying from ARC! I LOVE their holiday boutiques as well-got some awesome decorations for Halloween and Christmas!! Love this place, and feels good to not only shop there but you know youre money is going to a good cause as well! ❤️

I have shopped and donated here for years. I am amazed at what I find here. They have sales on different colored tagged items that rotate every other week. 50% off if you are there on the right week, even still, great deals on a lot items. I love that the money goes back to the community and helps people out. Not like the bigger for profit thrift stores that only donate a small portion so they can seem like they are giving something back.

I find all sorts of cool stuff at Value Village. I shop at several different locations. The holiday sales and Sunday clearance is great. Ive been slowly losing weight over the past two years so I always need smaller clothes. Thrift stores are the way to go when youre changing sizes regularly. My most recent purchases include a pink fleece nightgown that my cat loves too, a great push-up padded plunge bra, and the blue top pictured here.

Cant say enough about these stores. The bargains are tremendous. For those (re)entering the workforce, VV is a great place to get your work wardrobe on the cheap. Designer labels, nice-quality items for a fraction of their original price. The staff is always friendly and helpful. If you dont mind the craziness of your fellow bargain-hunters, Saturday mornings at VV can be a blast. Lots of energy and lots of fun!

Little more expensive, but they have quality clothing, and some interesting pieces (to say the least). I once walked in there and they were selling a couch, not any ordinary couch, but a couch that won second place in "the worlds ugliest couch competition". Its going rate was $100. Haha. Anyway, I bought clothes for work from here that were practically brand new, and I even got compliments from coworkers!

Always new items added each day as most thrift shops do. The place stays consistently busy so if you see something you like it may not be there next time you go if you dont pick it up during that trip. Prices are very reasonable and there are always color tag deals each day. The building is older, it looks dirty but it is fairly clean. Staff is helpful, checkout times are slower, but the deals are good.

These thrift stores are genuine charities, unlike the ones that either have been proven to be completely for-profit private companies or charities that give little to the supposed intended people. But they are also full of cheerful and helpful staff and they carry terrific donated merchandise that is a great value when you are trying to stretch your budget!

These stores changed my life! Chances are most things I need (or want) will be found here - from interesting and different outfits, to housewares and simple furnishings. Books, DVDs, CDs and Vinyl, too. ARC Value Village is also *Your Best Friend* - when it comes to de-accessioning before a move. Im a weekly shopper...and donator!
