I like this store. Its true that it does not the veriety as some of the larger places like Hi-vee or Wally world. But it makes up for in customer service. Once i was looking for a glutten free item cause of a friend of mine. I could not find it. I went up to an employe and when asked they went and looked to see if i missed it. Turns out they did not carry one that was glutten free. But the look on the person face that they could not help me. Shows that they care. The only problem i have is that they dont carry spicy breakfast sausage in the meat department. They also honor walmart sales so it makes it easy for me to get soda on sale cause i have no car and its a pain to carry 4 2 liters for close to 2 miles. Are they perfect no. Do they try yes.

Not the best meat counter. Some will claim it is, but when I asked the ratio of fat to lean in their house brand of hamburger (the "special"), they refused to disclose it. That is bad business, and fundamentally dishonest. Otherwise the selection of groceries is mediocre and the staff is not particularly helpful or friendly.

The fact that they are employee centric is the number one reason I shop here. Fareway is closed on Sundays and holidays so that the employees can have those days with their families. It might be an inconvenience when I really need something, but it is worth it knowing how they treat their employees.

Worst grocery store Ive ever been in. Poorly laid out, No deli (which is really stupid considering the courthouse is right across the street). I just feel the need to wash my hands after being in that store. Also my carrot cake was cardboard dry.

Fareway is probably the cheapest place in town, but they sell quality product. They have an old fashioned meat counter and great sales. They are all about moving volume. They have a few specialty items, but not much.

The people are friendly. Also it is a full service grocery store (i.e they will take your groceries to your vehicle for you). Their meat counter is by far the best place to by meat around.
