I went to lunds on xmas eve to get a few things. When I first walked in a worker ask me if I needed help. I smiled and declined the help. I came after work in work clothes and my hair tied back. This same worker ask me five more times if I needed help. By the 3rd or 4th time it was obvious I was being profiled because of my dress and ethnic group. The fourth time I smiled and declined his help and rushed 5 isles away. Low and behold he was in the Isle I went too. By than I was humiliated, embarrassed and pretty ticked off. I decided to check out with what I had without finishing. When I was leaving another employee ask me if I needed help by blocking my way out of the isle where I needed to go to check out. I paid for my purchases and was followed out of the store to my car by the police officer on duty at the front door. This has happened before on my visits to lunds. No more will I encounter this at lunds. I can go to Kowalski in uptown for better service and no profiling because of my Native American Heritage. My feelings were obviously hurt, to include the embarrassment I had to go through. While at lunds I also was waiting my turn when the worker in the meat counter ignored me for someone white dressed nicely. She declined the help saying she arrived after me. Thanks to the lady customer I was able to keep some of my dignity. I will no longer give lunds my coin knowing they profile someone by their race and color. Its funny that when I wear a suit this never happens. Shame on you lunds!!! In the future I can spend my money elsewhere. Didnt know lunds had a dress code determined by race and color for it to be OK to shop there!!

Compared to almost any other grocery store I can go to, Lunds is expensive; you get a good quality for the price, and the selection is excellent (especially given the limited floor plan), but for most of my essentials I still use lower-cost grocery. However, Lunds makes up for the cost of its shelf goods with its excellent fresh food, in-store pressed juices, deli items, and pre-made items such as dinner rolls or even sushi. Its not the place to go if you need to make every penny go the furthest penny go as far as possible, but its worth it if you want to feel like youre treating yourself every time you open the fridge.

I come here for the deli, so thats about all I can speak for. Nice deli workers and the selection of sandwiches and whatnot is awesome. They change things up enough that you can always get something new, if youd like, and there are a few staple things so some consistency is possible, if youd like. Prices really arent THAT much worse than getting a sandwich elsewhere, and theyre definitely tasty. Store is otherwise clean and bright, and all the things youd expect in a Lunds. Wells Fargo ATM here, as well.

This Lynda & Byerlys location is clean, bright, and has a pleasant atmosphere. The produce section has been well-stocked with fresh products every time Ive ever visited. They offer a large variety of high-quality bakery items as well as a salad bar & hot food buffet. Ive always been impressed with their variety of items; despite the fact that the chain carries many upper-end, more expensive products, they also always have a huge selection of weekly sale items that are affordable.

Great location. Has good parking which is key when being down town. The checkout lanes are a little strange and sometimes move fast or at a snails pace. The selection of food is good. Better than all other grocery chains except for maybe kowalskis. In comparison to other Lunds and byerlys the selection of food is some what limited which is why I gave it 3 stars. I still would shop here and recommend it out of convenience of the location

Service has always been good. Im writing this because I had a garbage day of bike delivery and I had a relatively small order to drop off to Caliya* (apologies for misspelling I cant review previous orders). Not only were they super thankful but they offered a decent cash tip (super rare for bike delivery) and offered me water. Solid people who know the service industry struggle and I thank you! You guys made my day!

Lunds ,& Byerlys has a variety. They have food for everyone and everyones dining lifestyle. From every day meats, vegetarian, vegans to organics. They have a deli, salad bar, small bakery, fresh seafood, produce bad a large supermarket. I love going to this place. It also has Caribou coffee shop inside. There are nearby restaurants, CVS and a post office. Near Minneapolis Community Technical College ( MCTC).

Very convenient location and great service. I came in and wanted to buy some fruit, the cashier asked me if I was sure and I was a little confused and she showed me how much they would cost (huge price increase because of market value) and she said she doesnt want people to be surprised when they look at their receipt. I didnt buy that specific item and am very appreciative of how proactive and honest she was.

Im so glad that Lunds & Byerlys opened a store in this location. Its very convenient, and the selection of products available clearly caters to grab-and-go meals for lunch. Low-prep items are great for those of us who live in nearby apartments with tiny kitchens! Unfortunately the wraps and sandwiches are still a bit mediocre and sometimes soggy. Also, more bike parking would be great.

Pricey, small store with limited selection of goods. Cant ever seem to find the coffee and tea flavors Im looking for that is made by the same suppliers that are on the shelf. Im not talking exotic blends here either, just green tea and dark roast coffee. unfortunately, its the only grocery store at the south end of downtown

Its a really small Lunds. Probably the smallest location they have, so dont expect them to have much in the way of produce or any kind of variety actually. Their convenience food and deli is kind of what they push, since its on Hennepin and MCTC is close by. They DO have their own parking lot, though, which is great.

Within walking distance of Loring Park & other neighborhoods. Great selection of fresh food ready to order for a meal before you shop! Caribou Coffee inside the store, so they have cup holders on the shopping carts! Well priced groceries & long store hours in a convenient location!

Great grocery store for quick trips in the downtown area. Excellent produce and selection, open 18 hours a day, Caribou Coffee inside, and self-checkout is very fast when picking up a few items. Lunds is on the expensive side so I dont recommend it for pantry items and stocking up.

This is a good place to stop in and when you have a quick trip. I really like the deli and cheese counter. Their butchers counter leaves a bit to be desired. It is a pretty small Lunds & Byerlys. I usually like to go to the Lunds & Byerlys in uptown when I have a longer list.

Incredibly convenient plus free parking! For the size of the store it offers quite a few selections of everyday items and groceries, as well as produce, deli, meat/seafood, and bakery items. They also have a liquor store right next door making this location an easy one-stop-shop.
