All you expect from Lunds in terms of great produce, fine foods and humane lighting. This downtown Minneapolis addition is smaller than the typical Lunds, and is one of several built in higher density neighborhoods. In stark contrast to the older stores, which are comfortingly consistent and efficient, the layout of these shrunken markets fails catastrophically: there is no natural flow for shoppers to follow. Checking out can feel like a treasure hunt, and the snaking lines tend to organize by mob rule: one day, a single line feeds the bank of registers. The next day, each register has a queue of its own. These are minor problems, and remarkable largely because we expect this grocer to continue doing things perfectly. Lunds has an abundance of goodwill stockpiled over decades of serving shoppers with care, and I have no doubt they are eager and able to make every Lunds a great Lunds.

I have been shopping at Lunds for several years. I am retired so I shop the specials and BOGOs and have no complaints in general. However, I recently bought 12lbs of 90% lean ground beef, at least the package labels totaled 12.4 lbs. After cooking the the packages for future use, I had only 8.2lbs. Tell me if my math is wrong, but that is only 2/3 of what I paid for, rather than 90%. Three out of the six packages each had a cup of water in the pan. Back in the day sheisters would do that to get more money for their product. Im not saying thats what they did, maybe their scale is off by 25%. I use a postal scale and weight out 1lb packages for Ziploc quart freezer bags. I should have had 10 bags rather than 8. I wont buy their meat any more.

I live across the street from here and stop in just about every other day. In the last 2 weeks Ive had a checkout person drop things onto the floor (produce and packages of sushi) three times. They have just picked it up (damaged) and put it back on the conveyor to the bagger. No apology or asking if I want a replacement. This should be unacceptable in a high end grocer. This is getting extremely frustrating and makes me wonder what else is dropped on the floor and put back on the shelves. Unacceptable. Ill change my post when I start to see more professionalism.

Supermercato di qualità. Vendeva anche olio italiano (Bertolli), Parmigiano Reggiano originale (staccavano le fette dalla forma in vista) e Nutella (in versione prodotta in USA ma con sapore originale), succo di frutta fresco e carne "organic" (quella detta "Bio" in Italia).

I love this Lunds location!! Ever since I first moved to Uptown, this Lunds has been one of my favorite places to buy groceries. Sure, it can be more expensive than Cub Foods, but their selection - coupled with the polite, friendly, and engaging staff - is worth paying a little more for. Plus, the fresh pizza they make is delicious and cheaper than getting an equivalent pizza at Pizza Luce or other surrounding pizza places.

There is so much to love about this store: they have the best quality brands, a great organic selection, really friendly staff, delicious deli and bakery items, lots of locally produced foods, specialty items that other stores dont carry, an awesome selection of magazines and flowers, and a really nice loft area where you can eat, read, or just hang out. I actually look forward to shopping here every week!

I shop here often and have been a loyal customer of Lunds for years. However, I had an exceptional customer experience with Kathy yesterday at your uptown location. She is wonderful and so helpful in finding ingredients I needed for a fondue appetizer! She is the type of employee that every store should have. She made my shopping experience seamless. Lunds didnt have what I needed, which is fine. But when I asked some old guy from grocery department that had a very bad attitude about helping or even guiding me in the right direction. Didnt feel like he had time for any customers that walked by. Based on that interaction I find it very to ever step foot in this place.

One of the oldest Lunds & Byerlys stores, this store has a great cast of employees who generally have been around for awhile. They know the store and can help you with anything. Slightly more expensive than Cub Foods a few blocks away and slightly less than Kowalskis, but their deli and salad bar offerings reign supreme.

Dopest Lunds. Phenomenal chill study lounge/leisure area hovering over the whole store almost like a fort with stairs leading up to it from multiple corners, also with a huge selection of magazine reading material just like one would see in a Barnes & Noble. Wonderful indeed.

Ive been shopping here since before the name became Lunds! Personnel are well trained and friendly. They know where everything is. Quality is high. They will special order anything we request. Prices are on the high side but seem to be worth the extra.

Rarely do I have a good experience at this Lunds, due to the clerks attitudes and lack of customer service. When a person visits a grocery store, they do so to get items for their kitchen, not to get attitude from some overworked, underpaid bitter clerk.

Pretty upscale, with the prices to match, so its an occasional treat for me. I do love the designs created with milk foam on their espresso drinks, and that every cup of coffee comes with a stick of Pocky.

Theres no place to park in Uptown Mpls and others with parking lots make you pay for any time over 15 min. Lunds manages to provide a relaxing atmosphere--even when it comes to parking!

I love this store. I stopped almost at closing and needed a vegan entre for dinner and they retrieved a great meal from the cooler. The produce is exceptional with many organic choices.

Ive been a customer three years and visit several times a week. Staff is helpful, efficient, and friendly. Decent daily and weekly deals, too. Open until midnight, even on Saturday.

Great location right in the heart of Uptown. This location also has some meeting space upstairs that can be used for meetings. What a great benefit.
