I visited the newest addition to HyVee last night 4/14/15 at about 7:30pm. A friend and I came to eat supper and support South Central College. I ordered the Top Sirloin meal off the menu with baked potato and asparagus. I am not the easiest person to take a order from but the server was super understanding and friendly with how confusing I may have been and very particular. She served me a glass of wine differently than I remembered, there was a strawberry and chocolate on a skewer, what an amazing touch, I was surprised and loved it! The food came our in a timely manner and was hot, fresh and my steak was prepared just PERFECT! (Its usually hard for cooks to get a steak med rare most of the time I have found).. But not here! The asparagus was also divine! It was perfectly cooked and delicious! The server checked up on us just enough without bugging us. We then ordered cream cheese wantons and OH MY GOSH to die for! They took a little longer than expected but was well worth the wait! Thank You so much for an amazing experience and the delicious food!

Long before I moved to Faribault, I would drive down from the south suburbs of the Twin Cities to shop at Hy-Vee. They are much more personable, friendly, and helpful than the warehouse buildings in the cities that double as grocery stores (Im talking about you, Cub Foods). Im only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because once Fareway Foods moved into town, Hy-Vee couldnt compete when it came to meat - meat counter - and meat service. I shop for everything ELSE at Hy-Vee, but I get my meat product at Fareway.

I so very appreciate the smiles, helpfulness, friendly behavior of the staff, even the young men. Youve a beautiful well stocked store. Produce selection is colorful with a great array of fruit and vegetables. You dont have to carefully look through to find unblemished produce, it all looks delicious. The mobility cart was perfect for shopping with my parents with a good sized basket for groceries. That was a huge asset.

The meat counter is fantastic. Those people are great at what they do. If you have a cooking question they almost always have an answer and they will cut up whatever you need even if they dont have it on display. I went there today for steak tips, they didnt have it on display. The manager asked what I was cooking and brought out what he knew would be best for it and cut it up. Excellent meat and customer service.

I love this place. Its where I get all my groceries from. I love how friendly the staff is and I love how they have the free fruit basket for kids. It really helped my kids stay quiet during my visit. The meat department worker named Tony was so very friendly! He answered all my questions and helped me pick out the best meat for the party Im hosting. He was a very good worker!

Looks a little run down from the outside, but as soon as you get inside, its nicely updated, everyone is very helpful, and its not just a grocery store. They have a Starbucks and a cafe, as well as several food options at the deli, including Chinese, barbecue, American, and a full salad bar that is available in take out and buffet options. Really good food and great service!

I came to check out the store today 5-6-16 around 4pm I was at the counter of the deli and I notice that three employees making stuff with no plastic gloves on and one drinking a beverage. When did wearing no gloves a proper way to handle food? There was tons of boxes of gloves on the table. I have worked in a deli for 30 yrs and always used a gloves.

The cafe staff is very friendly. They need to get rid of James and Karen in the kitchen. They sent out a raw hamburger to me. Ruined me ever eating here again.
