Had bad experience on this Thursday evening 12/10/15 at their homeopathy department. Everything is overpriced in this store when compared to regular grocery stores, but homeopathic medicines truly take the cake, considering that they are no more than sugar pills which they sell for around 10 dollars for a small bottle of it. One at least expects courteous service from the workers there for doling out so much money on placebo tablets. Nothing of the sort. The guy working there first did not want to come and answer questions about where to find the products - homeopathic medicines run into hundreds of different kinds and there is no way one can find them without being assisted- and when motioned to come came reluctantly and took out his pique by getting offended that I did not know how to spell the names of those medicine correctly whether Sanganeria is spelt with an S or a C and as to why I did not know that they only carry 30C and less and not 200 C strength. When told he is being rude he went ballistic - I was afraid he will actually turn pugnacious - and threatened to call the manager on me. I told him that go ahead and do so and made an impolite remark at the way he was swishing his hips while walking, to let him know that I was not intimidated by the way he was coming right into my face. He demanded that I come to the manager with him. I told him to go take a hike, I am not going to any manager, if the manager wants to come to me it is fine. She did come but once again her attitude was not to be apologetic but only to know from me as to what her worker had done wrong, eyeing me suspiciously as if it must have been my fault. While I have always found the checkout girls very polite and friendly at this store, I think the people working on the floor should know that the customer does not need to be reminded as to how ignorant he is about their products but to be helped with making his purchases by helping him get what he wants and that somebody might be making purchases of homeopathic medicines not because he has great knowledge of them or even believes in them but because he may be doing the purchases for somebody else.

I have been shopping at the W.B. Whole Foods for about 5 years. The staff is amazing! When I was on bed rest with my 2nd child I could call and tell them what I needed and they would fill my order. I could send someone to pick it up and it was ready to go! Whenever Im there and I cant find something, a team member will walk with me to where it is located and tell me about the different options available. Everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful. I started shopping there as I didnt want my kids (and myself) eating things that I couldnt pronounce, or didnt know where they came from (most of the packaged food at all of the other major grocery chains). The prices are cheaper for these foods than anywhere else I have found. If you want chemicals, fillers and pesticides, sure you can buy "food" cheaper at other stores but I prefer food made out of butter, eggs, sugar, sea salt, etc. Also, if they dont have something, they are always willing to order if they can.

I went there to buy Daily Digestive digestive enzymes. I purchase these about every six weeks. I was dismayed to find that the price had increased from $6.99 to $9.99. I think that is ridiculous! I will definitely switch to another brand and/or buy these elsewhere. The Theanine Serene also went up from $12.49 to $16.49. Again, I can get these online or elsewhere for less. I like Wholefoods, but they are becoming too expensive for me to shop at anymore on a regular basis. On the plus side, I did get some plant protein samples

Made my first visit to a Whole Foods and came away very impressed. The selection was great, particularly in regards to specialty items, such as vegan alternatives. Though the chain is often criticized for high prices, many specialty items can be found at Whole Foods for less than they would be at smaller, niche retailers. Staff are helpful and greet you with a smile, happy to answer any questions. Highly recommend Whole Foods to anyone looking for specialty items or high-quality products.

Great store nice employees! The guy Mohamadou at the fish market is great he always helps us and has the fish clean and ready for us by the time we get there we just pick it up and were off on our way! Also recommends spices and flavorings that would compliment the seafood we are purchasing. The food that they cook there is tasteless :/ but the pizza and the sweets are ahmazinggg A lot of products are a overpriced though.

This store is more like a Kroger than a WF. I appreciate that there is one in the area but the one in Ann Arbor is much better stocked. Im more likely to either drive to the A2 WF or find what I need at another local health food store. I gather this Whole Foods caters to its suburban Detroit soccer mom but not really great for foodies or the hardcore.

I love WholeFoods in general. I have shopped at WholeFoods in different cities and hands down this locations hot bar is the Worst. I mean at 9.99per lb they could at least afford to replace crusty rice, and burnt looking food. After being disappointed constantly with their hotbar selection, I just get something from the frozen meals instead.

My first time really shopping in the store was lovely just not enough help around to guide me through some of the healthy medications that I wanted to get last minute there was a young lady that was able to help me find what I needed she saved the day Ill be back to Whole Foods on a regular basis I love the store

Never has any vegan muffins The whole point in going to a whole foods or specially grocery store is all about the experience. The only reason I go to whole foods is because of the wonderful varieties of vegan options;however lately that is just not the cause at this location.

Went on-line to pick items for upcoming party. Except, I couldnt. Wasnt going to blunder around a sloppy web site trying to find different foods I wanted to order when the site wouldnt list them. Went to trader Joes. Much easier!

Awesome and very friendly staff and they have a great variety of non-gmo, vegan and dairy free products. Prices are a little steep but youre paying for quality/freshness and an awesome customer experience.

The market side is typical whole foods, byt I normally visit for lunch. The pizzeria seems to always be out of meat pizza, theres always the cold veggie or gourmet cheese sitting there, kinda sad.

Nice store I drive from grosse point to West Bloomfield once a week. To shop for organic produce and cheeses. I dont shop at the Detroit location, been there a few times and wont go there again.
