The prices are really good, letting you lower your grocery expenses considerably. The stores layout takes some getting used to before you can go straight to items youre looking for, and they might not always have every item on your list, but its not far from other stores, which you can hit on your way home to pick up the few things that werent here - a plan that still cuts your overall spending. Bagging is all done by yourself after youve checked out so either bring your own bags or be prepared to purchase those for sale next to the register (theyre only a few dollars each, hold a lot, and can be used over and over on future trips).

I am a real person not someone that has been hired to post comments. I / My family shops at ALDI weekly and love the low prices and selections. ALDI has lots of great items and I have never had a complaint, until now! I would suggest to everyone, BUY YOUR HOT DOG BUNS ELSEWHERE! AlLDI has the worst buns that I have ever had. I purchased three bags of these buns. They were dry grainy and would not stay together. They not only did break at the bottom, but also they broke in half along the sides. Out of the three bags, we did not find one good bun, what a waste of Nathans Dinner dogs.

Decent Prices, Arrogant Staff Hates You. Or maybe working in general, I dont care who you are or what you say or what you buy, your FOOD Will be thrown and tossed in a buggy or the whole box dropped and the Cashier will tell you its because we are so fast -BS, youre too incompetent to be a cashier, thats the reason. Forget hello or eye contact, this is a German company. youre made to feel like youre lucky to be allowed to shop there. As said, seasonal produce may be or go bad, so beware. Most of their house labels are pretty good quality.

I walked in and found an exit-only door in front of me and an entrance-only door to the left. I entered to the left and found myself in a very long aisle that continued for the entire length of the building. Only after going through this corridor could I see across the store and view all the departments. I do not like having my movements contained and controlled like its an amusement park ride or courthouse security. This is just very unwelcoming psychologically, and Im not going to bother visiting again.

Aldi has amazing prices. $30 a week for me and my wife. I hate having to shop anywhere else, but sometimes aldi does lack more specific items. Major props to the employees; I think the cashiers do everything in the store (stocking, cleaning, checkouts etc.) I am amazed that I always struggle to put things on the conveyer belt faster than they can scan them off. No other store has super employees like these.

Aldis is the best place to buy groceries. I love how cheap everything is. If I go to aldis, I can spend around $50 a week to feed my family of three. They have great food and my favorite snack item to buy is their pita crisps and garlic hummus. This store is amazing and although I have to drive 30 minutes to get there, I love it. I cant wait until they build one closer to me.

Love this store. I buy most of my staples here. Pros: Quick, cheap, and easy shopping. Beer and wine are cheap and good quality. Staples are MUCH cheaper without any drop in quality. Cons: The fruit, in my experience, is a little hit or miss, and youll find better quality elsewhere. If you need Organic Grapeseed Oil pressed by virgins, you should go somewhere else.

Consistently affordable and well stocked. Due to how Aldi operates, some of the vegetable and fruit availability varies from week to week. Overall though, it is the cheapest grocery store in Athens. I buy the basics (meats, veg, dairy, starches, bread) then specifics at other local stores. Checkout line here is always quick also....thats what Aldi does!

I shop here every week. Absolutely love this market. It has all the best goodies for super low prices. Th e chocolate is to die for, and wine OMG! Milk , eggs, cheese ect... crossing town every week is so wroth it. Cant wait until they build one on the east side of Athens.

Staff is not particularly pleasant. Selection is on par with other Aldi locations. Decent prices, but products are seasonal and sometimes limited. Produce is not always the best quality, so I would recommend double checking all purchases before buying.

Love the great prices, high quality, and unexpected finds at Aldi. Some quirks that save money and are similar to European stores: Bring a quarter to "rent" a cart and prepare to bag your own groceries. Shopping bags cost extra so bring your own.

Clean, efficient and organized store. Aldi consistently has excellent values on grocery items and household goods. Try the cat litter and laundry detergent. We discovered they were not only cheaper than Sams but we liked the Aldi product better.

Inexpensive but high quality groceries, and now they finally accept credit card. Remember to bring a quarter coin with you. Youll need it to unchain the cart. Youll get your quarter back by chaining back the cart after shopping.

Aldis is my favorite. Would love if another store was built on the other side of Athens. Checkout is fast, store is clean, most items are great, one or two products like tomato sauce not for me, but prices are great.

I have shopped here for years now. I get all of my main staples at Aldi, and the bill on the way out the door is always very noticeably less than even the next cheapest competitor. Great store. Always well managed.

Avoid the weekends because its usually too crowded. However, there are some good gluten free options here and the prices are great. Staff is pretty good too.

Perfect place to save a lot of money on groceries. They dont have bags there and you have to use a quarter to get a shopping cart.
